The manger kelsey was an absolute sweetheart helping my husband find the perfect boots for his arch. She showed him all the options and even gave her honest opinion. In the past we haven’t had the best experience with the previous “manager” but kelsey was OUTSTANDING.

Jason is a top notch fellow. Really went out of his way to help me. I don’t expect much out of most retail employees but the folks here take their jobs seriously.

Staff is always super friendly and welcoming, especially taking into account we usually bring all three of the kids with us. The in stock selection is pretty good and a whole heck of a lot better than trying to shop online, which is nearly impossible with boots cause you have to get a feel for them. Picked up these good lookin Idyllwinds for my wife and they look great on her. Definitely worth the trip.

Sales girls are so nice and attentive. Knowledgeable about their products. Great place to get western clothes, boots and work wear like carhart. They have steel and composite toe boots for those that need.

People were nice and friendly. Didnt have my size though. Took forever for someone to come help me.

Went in here to get my cowboy hat shaped like I have at many boot barns before. I was told the gal wouldn’t be in until noon (it was about 10:30) so the gal who was there took notes on what I liked and said she would call me when it was done... that was over 5 days ago and I never received any call.. so, I had my husband go in because he was in the area and they hadn’t even shaped it!!!! I couldn’t believe it!!! What an absolute joke... the manager was on the phone and remained on the phone (extremely unprofessional) so he took my hat and left. DO NOT GO HERE!!!!

Can not order red wing without up front payment. Do not carry a single pair of red wings in stock. In fact they carry very few work boots unless you want cowboy boots. Very dissatisfied with this store. All I wanted is to try three sizes of a particular red wing work boot on but they told me I would have to buy all three pair before I could try them on. What a joke of a store. If you are in Kalispell to buy boots go anywhere else than here. Very surely and less than helpful sales people.

Went in to check out the boots. A sales lady said she would be right with me. I waited and waited and finally went up to the counter and rudely told that she is with a customer and I would have to wait. I was there before that customer. Well Murdochs got a sale... Will not be back...

So far we have been in here twice this month and had good service. The first time was to buy my boys their first pair of cowboy boots, which I know nothing about. My youngest has very wide feet, so I was a little concerned that he wasnt going to be able to get a pair. But they both walked out happy campers. The second time was to get my husband a new cowboy hat for his birthday. But they dont get 5 stars because I have been waiting and waiting for their hat steamer to get fixed. The first time they said they had a ticket in and just waiting for the guy to show up to fix it, give it a week. Ok, understandable. I went in 2 weeks later, and it still wasnt fixed.

Terrible customer service. Staff knows nothing about the products they sell. We waited 30 mins for someone to shape a hat and nobody ever did do it. Disappointed. Also, terrible selection in clothing. Family pictures tonight and we couldnt find any Western shirts in XL tall or childrens clothing in xsmall. Waste of time. Wont be back.

Horrible customer service. Girls just standing around when I first walked in, offered no help, but when I was done in the dressing room and ready to check out I had to wait at least 20 minutes for service and no one was around for me to even ask if they could help. Also, when she did finally arrive, she was rude. Too bad I love the store Boot Barn but I will not be revisiting this location.

12/26/2014 about 4pm store is smallish and on the pricy side. But my main issue is the bathrooms LOCKED. ok no big deal as there are sales people everywhere. BUT there is absolutely no signage on in or around the restroom area stating that they are locked and you need an employee to let you in. So as I hovered near by the door doing a potty dance for about 10 minutes whilst my daughter was trying on clothes. I finally just decided to use the mens restroom. LOCKED too. This is when I finally figured out that boot barn must keep the bathrooms locked. So i ask a near by sales lady to let me in. I ask about the no signage situation and her reply to me was and I quote. People do disgusting things in public restrooms. That may be true. After all it is a bathroom, But in no way addressed the no signage issue. And she was pretty snotty about my question. Like i should just know that its a locked door and why its locked. Wish i had gotten the lady who let me into the bathrooms name. So 1 shirt and 85 dollars later I finally get to pee. Guess I will be driving to murdochs next time my daughter needs a new western shirt.
