My coworker recommended Ron to me after some work he’d had done on his Subaru. I had recently purchased a Mazda which was turning out to have a plethora of problems with the electronics. Ron got it drivable and trouble shooted multiple error codes. His prices were more than reasonable and he really knows his stuff. If you’re looking for a mechanic who listens to your problems and then goes and fixes them, this is the place to go. And his shop dog is the sweetest! Highly highly highly recommended.

Went above and beyond! I barely limped my vehicle to their lot. I didnt hardly have a clue as to what was really wrong with it. They had it back within a very short amount of time. They went through extra effort tracking down the right part to fix the issue. They totally earned my business! Definitely try them out!

On our way to Glacier from Seattle with our three kids and our car’s warning system started freaking out, including a transmission warning. A quick google search had us at this place. They were very friendly, did a fast diagnostic which revealed that our computer hadn’t been updated (thanks dealer service!). They didn’t even charge us for their time and our kids had a great time oohing and aaahing at the trucks in the shop.

I took my 2006 Jeep Wrangler to them as it was hesitating shifting into gear automatically. Although a sporadic issue throughout the day it did occur like clockwork each morning during its first drive of the day. Absolute had it for one week waiting for a part then told me they corrected the issue by replacing the temp sensor. Cost $211.48Four days later the problem re-occurred. I had the car checked by another local mechanic business as I needed a tune up. They did a courtesy check and found the sensor replaced by Absolute to be leaking. I returned the car to absolute and left it with them for another week as I was going out of town.They were to call me if there were issues or needed additional work. No calls from them. I had to call them and learned they did not even check for the leak so I had to leave the car another 3 days.When I picked up the Jeep they told me they fixed it and it tested fine. They gave me no paperwork to document the work they did on it. Two days later it was worse.I took the car back to the other mechanic who found the sensor was faulty in that it was failing to read temperature correctly. They reprogrammed the sensor and downloaded & installed a new updated OEM Computer program which cost me $129.99.I called Absolute to again explain that another mechanic had to fix their work and was informed they did their job and “if you don’t like it file a complaint.” Rude, poor work, poor customer service. Definitely never returning and do not recommend them for any transmission work no matter how minor or any mechanical work at all.

My son took my Dodge Diesle to ATR because it was not shifting into over drive. He kept the truck for 4 days saying he needed to get a part. Finally called and said the problem was taken care of and charged me $450. When my son picked the vehicle up, the problem was not fixed, and we were not given a breakdown of parts/labor as to what work was done. Will call him tomorrow to see if he is going to make this right. Will give update. A little nervous looking at some of these other reviews.Update. Took the truck back today, they pulled it in to look at again, and now telling me it will be another $1500+ to fix it. Basically, we paid them $450 to not fix anything. Then they billed me another $70 for them to tell me they didn’t fix the problem the first time. We will be going elsewhere to get the truck fixed. I would not recommend anybody taking their vehicle here unless it is a very minor, simple fix. They lied to us, and charged us for basically nothing. Don’t know how they stay in business. Stay away.

Be warned of ATR!! I brought my vehicle in to be diagnosed and was informed that way more work needed to be done than actual, after checking out the issue myself later. Brought in the bearings to be pressed and the tech swore that we needed another part for him to do the job. After going back and forth of why we needed the part, drove an extra hour to go pick it up and come back, just to find out that the tech didnt know what he was talking about. When everything was done he charged us double of what most shops do for twenty minutes of work, along w/ forcing us to leave and come back with something that was not even needed. All in all, going to ATR cost way more, created more headache and the delay made it so the job barely got done on time.

I had some odd problems going on with my Toyota truck transmission. I had it at one shop already and thought I needed a new transmission, Ron at Absolute diagnosed my problem in an hour and then told me the diagnosis was free!!! I couldnt be more happy with this! Went from 3 to 4 grand for a tray to free!! Will always recommend Absolute Transmission and auto for all of your needs!!

They did a diagnostic on my transmission and told me that my clutch packs were bad. Come to find out the whole time it was a wet connection after they told me they took the connections apart and cleaned them
