What a great bunch of employees they have here! So helpful, friendly & knowledgeable. And theyre great with special orders- so willing to go the extra mile for their patrons. And unlike their lousy neighbor, they have excellent & efficient curbside pickup- which Hobby Lobby stubbornly REFUSES to do to protect the public! They totally put Hobby Lobby to shame- I wouldnt walk through the door of that nasty place.

They had some excellent sales. Clean store. I started my new hobbies, jewelry making and I didnt know where to really start or what tools I needed. The sales floor associate was a somewhat knowledgable and helpful but overall 4 stars.

Grab bag boxes for $4 . So worth it!

Store was very clean, not crowded and had a good atmosphere about it. Easy layout and had a lot of crats in stock.

Had to literally hunt down a sales persons and when I found one, they had no clue as to what I was asking about. Waited 10 minutes for another staff to come from in back who knew what I was asking for just to tell me that they dont carry the item

Always love going into Michaels. Great variety that us well stocked, great prices and wonderfully helpful associates.

Store slow, only one cashier whose counter is closed because shes trying to cancel a transaction. Call another associate instead of letting a customer go and not make the purchase. When busy, I dont mind waiting. Waiting because you dont have an open till isnt acceptable. Have never found associates in this store willing to help customers. If you ask for help they act like you are bothering them.

I have been to nicer ones. The shelves were pretty empty and not much to choose from. But it was nice to look around

They have a little bit of everything. Tiny store, so not as much selection depth as other locations.

Feel comfortable shopping there as they do a good job with measures to protect staff and patrons from Covid.

I LOVE Michaels, the staff are always so nice and friendly...they have the best coupons for purchases.. unlike some of the other craft stores in town that offer coupons but then tell you, your product doesnt fall in the guidelines of the coupon..At Michaels theres no fine print. Its the only craft store I will shop at.

I love the place except its spendy.

Great selection of paints, brushes, canvases. Art pencils, markers. Lots of strings of beads at a good price, cake decorating supplies. They do not carry any material for making clothes, but overall a wide variety of other items for crafting.Always have coupons online you can use. Friendly staff, that do their best to help.

Im very disappointed in the Kalispell Michaels. The way I was treated in this store was not what customer service is about. The lady was more worried about getting off work than she was helping me find an item. She actually told me if I didnt check out at that exact moment, I wouldnt be able to purchase my items. Meanwhile there were other customers still browsing. I will not shop at this store again.

Mom was looking for some paints. But couldnt afford the ones she wanted. A stock clerk noticed her anxiety and directed her to a set that was not only what mom was looking for but also on sale for half price. Made the old girls day.

Always fun to browse there, so much creativity sparks new ideas! Prices are great, the staff seem genuinely happy and ready to help! Even if not buying it is an enjoyable place to spend 30mins. or so!!!

This is the most well ordered in clean looking craft store I have ever seen. The craft supplies you need will also be easy to find because they are well labeled.

Friendly staff, great selection of craft items. What I really love is the discount they have for teachers as well as other coupons so I can get a really good price on all the crafty things Im working on. Very clean facility, I spend hours here with my mom when she comes to visit 😂

There are lovely people working and shopping in this very fresh and clean establishment, but alas, there is only one section of one shelf that contains meager sewing supplies and sadly no fabric or notions to be procured. If you have a circuit system, if you paint, if you arrange flowers, or do pretty much any crafting however, this is a perfect place for you.

I walked in and waited while the cashier checked out another patron. I asked where poster tape was. I was directed to an aisle that had poster board. No poster tape was there. I returned to the cashier and waited as she checked out another patron, then as they visited I realized I was going to have to find it on my own. I looked it up online and found it back in the pictures area. There were several other employees working, yet none available to help me. The experience was a collosal waste of 10 minutes.

Went looking for journals. Poor selection, but great selection of sketch pads. Also found wonderful ink products.

Good supplies. Pri c es reasonable. Staff friendly.

Much better than last time.

I asked for help coming up with an idea on how to make a specific shaped cake. The employee made a comment about how that seemed like a hard project and walked away. I thought she went to find someone that might have been able to help. Stood in the isle for what might seemed forever. Gave up, bought a mickey mouse shaped pan, saw her at the cash register. Asked her what happened and why she walked away... everytime I ask for help in there, I end up disappointed.

The staff are very helpful when you are looking for a specific item and the cashiers use any extra coupons that are available for your purchase.

I could litterly spend all day in this store. But I could also drop one hole pay check in here. Love this place, great all the way around

One of my go to for hobby supplies

They have a little of everything for all types of craft and art projects. The seasonal items have a wide range of decorating styles. They also have excellent sale prices so it is worth becoming an email subscriber for additional coupons. It is usually fairly easy to locate items as the sections are grouped together well. The service is friendly at the counter upon check it.

Was there with my sister and it was a really good experience. She needed help two times and almost immediately had someone to help her out both times with a smile and courtesy.

This is a great art store. I had to purchase field book sketches for a geology class. They had a nice selection including sketching pencils. I was also looking for boxes for some stationary I had made. They had just the size I was looking for. They have a great selection

Empty and never has what you need.

This store is suitable for basic crafts but doesnt feel like it is on trend with current styles. For its size, I hoped it could turn over more products in order to keep things exciting. The last couple of times I was in the store, it looked the same except for switching out a small strip from Christmas to Valentines Day. I am also interested in a variety of yarns and do not find that this store has what I need. However if you are looking for everyday essentials for your crafts such as paint brushes, canvases, artificial flowers (which is a surprisingly large selection), etc. you will probably find it.

Diane was so FANTASTIC that Id give Michaels a 5 if they had had more of what i needed. Perhaps there arent many embroidery enthusiasts here, but Michaels Kalispell has a very limited selection.

They always have the yarn I want. They also offer great discounts with helpful employees.

We love Michaels for creative gift ideas as well as specialty baking things and canvases for my boyfriend who paints. Always good quality. Super helpful people.

It is a Michaels; fairly similar to others I have been in. Staff was very nice about helping my find what I needed but not super helpful at actually getting me to what I needed in the store. Also was hard to find someone to help me. The store felt a bit empty, it was 7pm on a Tuesday evening.

Great product, hard to find help and when you do it usually is someone that doesnt know product. You are kinda on your own there, but great product and a moderate selection
