I had went to Cates to buy a front load washer a few days ago and wasnt sure on a washer I was quoted $250 for. I took some time searched around then went back to them and the price they quoted changed to $350. Even though a different employee had quoted me differently just a few days before. They were rude and unwilling to work with me on a mistake THEY MADE. They back pedaled and hassled me on what prices were and that they had and were doing nothing wrong. DO NOT go to them for anything! Extremely rude employees and unwilling to have any good customer service.

I went in there to purchase a washer dryer HE FRONT LOADERS, SAMSUNG. Within the 10 min of confirming via phone Id be down to purchase and was assured, when I arrived they sold to another. A bit irked, they showed me a similar set for 500. I agreed and also needed a new fridge. The one I wanted wasnt working so after spending 850 dollars, I was content in my items. As soon as I hauled everything out of my house and hauled my own appliances kn, immediately the washer didnt work. Then the refrigerator wasnt cold. By the morning I had lost about 20p dollars of meat and groceries and my freezer was 48 degrees! It has now been over 2 weeks, and I have their broken fridge and my old fridge in my kitchen with no regard to rectify it. Also, still no washer!! I demanded money back and was refused. I continue to call, and no answer..and not even a voicemail! Im appalled and have never been treated so poorly in all my life..and Im from california!! I felt cheated and 2 wks later Im put 850 bucks and still no appliances! They should be ashamed and reported to the Better business bureau!

Hard to get ahold of unless you go in person but they have quality used appliances at competitive prices..90 day warranty gives you piece of mind for 3 months. My last used machine lasted almost 3 years and thousands of loads of laundry.

They straight up hooked it with a dryer, I have gotten parts from them before when no one else had them. Great place!

Stay away if you want good/any service!!!! It took over a week for the company to come and look at our dishwasher. When he finally came, a part needed to be ordered. Another week went by and I had finally had to contact the business which reported the wrong part came in and he gave some recommendations to try and fix it my self. Seven more days elapsed and again I contacted the business several times before I got a response. Finally I asked for him to be honest and tell me if he was too busy, which he finally did. Im not sure if our job was too small or what, but now we are more than three weeks out with the same problem.

I had needed my washer repaired so I called Cates appliance. He was at my door first thing the next morning. Fixed my washer in a flash, and left me with a like new washer.. I will most definitely be calling Cates Appliance the next time I have an issue..

Amazing appliance repair place. Highly recommend. Its the junkyard of appliances. If you are waiting on a part for any appliance DONT WAIT. contact Cates and they will probably have the part you need! I tried home depot. Lowes. Walmart and another local place and all needed to order the part for a lot of $$$$ I got the part I needed at a 5th of the price! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!
