Lets see, first they raised our rent 4 times in 6 months. Went from like 142 to the final amount was 185! Asked why they kept saying new management. Second they said that I was in my storage unit to long and that they were going to start tracking me every time I come in to my unit. And lastly, I moved out on the first and instead of being okay your moving out on the first thats fine. No they still make you pay for the whole month, even though they are going to turn around and rent it right back out.

I am so happy with my storage with Storage Rentals of America! The fact that they provide electrical outlet(s) within the unit is a total plus! I am able to do so much more with my entrepreneurial ventures, e.g., test new tools to ensure they are in proper working order, charge batteries for drills, and other tools, as well as see what Im doing within the unit even during the dark hours.Thank you Storage Rentals of America!!!

I have a small climate controlled unit for a decent price, and I was able to fit just about all of my furniture, etc from a 2 bed 2 bath apartment. Granted, I literally stacked and used the entire height of it, but it fit!

I got a storage unit for all my personal property it is a great customer service sure they will help you out and go a mile but the one thing that they do not do is help you haul your stuff which really sucks I might case

Worst place ever. My wife, a 26 year veteran, calls to pay our bill and they tell her they are going to adjust her lease to give her a military discount, my wife being away in the military states she will be in the following weekend than to sign the new lease. In the meantime, I go to get my stuff out of storage and they locked us out! Mind you my wife tried to pay! Took me over an hour to gain access to OUR stuff and we have enough money to buy 3 of these dumps if we wanted. Then the girl inside lies lies lies on top of it. And nowhere to even throw out trash, not one trash can on the property, gimme a break. These people need help on how to run a business but what do u expect in the high class storage business.

Very professional, nice ladies work there.I rented a 10x10 unit and it fit everything from my 2 bedroom. They pro-rated my fee, and I got it cheaper than anywhere else.Ideal for students at Western Michigan University WMU Kalamazoo. Perfect place if you need to store stuff for a week or two.

This place is okay for rentals. I checked in and got my key code and it didn’t work so I called the office and they said they would activate it, but when I went to try again the key code still wasn’t working. It has been a hassle. They are also extremely hard to get in contact with.

Stored household furniture and items here for 3-4 months during a move. Had no issues at all. The price was reasonable, the staff was nice and helpful, and most importantly the facility was clean and safe.We had three units, one outdoor, two climate controlled. The climate controlled ones are in a clean building and are easy to get things in and out of.

Great staff. Hire a smarter plow driver. If you plan on accessing your unit a few days after it snows, bring a shovel. Snow pushed up to the outside of the units making them inaccessible.

Will raise your rates 20 percent per year. Buyer beware. They raised my rate from $132 to $160 per month. After I complained, they lowered it to their normal rate of $150. I had to complain to get the regular price! How many customers dont know that they are paying above the regular rate for the space?! It was a great company and joy to work with before SROA bought it out, now not so much.

Three years ago I was looking in Kalamazoo for a storage facility and there were several choices. The prices were a bit higher but I was most impressed with the site manager, Kris Barnett. The facility was well run and very clean. I chose a climate controlled unit.Last year, just as I was about to arrange for another year, the facility changed hands to Storage Pros and I was quite concerned about the new ownership. Kris reassured me that there would be the same quality level. She is always there, very helpful, very professional. Frankly, her management is what makes the difference for me. I feel like my possessions are in very good hands. I hope to continue there for years to come.

Overall, a great facility with great people. I made my reservation online, they called me for confirmation within a couple of days, and my storage unit was ready the day I needed it. And even though I was VERY late getting there (because of severe winter weather conditions), they were still open. They processed my payment and paperwork, showed me how the secure entry system works, and inspected the storage unit with me in less than 30 minutes. The storage unit was absolutely pristine -- totally spotless and much larger than I anticipated because of the tall ceilings. I rented a climate-controlled unit, which I strongly recommend if youll be storing anything temperature-sensitive. The 24/7 access to my unit is also invaluable. I highly recommend this storage service above any other.

So far so good! (Im less than a month in).I was able to sign a lease for my perfectly sized unit.Manager was extremely friendly and helpful. Fun to talk to!I was skeptical on the unit being large enough but the friendly manager assured me she knows her stuff and that all of my stuff would fit!!Security seems legit!My unit was clean and didnt seem to have any previous issues with water or weather issues. No weird smells or anything.EDIT: I’m lowering it to 4 stars. My monthly charge has increased about 3 times without my knowledge. I called and asked them kindly to inform me before hand but they have still failed to do so.

Cube Smart has excellent customer service at the in store local level. Sadly if you call you are forwarded to an abnoxious recording that takes forever to get the a person to help in a national call center. After that often the person just recommends you go to the store. So 5 stars for the in store service. 5 stars for in store cleanliness. 5 stars for in store resources for moving.1 star for the worthless national phone service.Save your time and if you use this company go directly to the store. If you cant go to the store than find another place.

I chose Storage Pros, as the location was convenient, as well as clean and secure. The staff was very professional, and polite. I was well taken care of, and was walked through step by step through everything from signing up, to seeing the inside of my unit. I also received a free complementary truck rental to move in, and free pallets to stack my things on in the unit. This place is worth the price, and all my needs were covered. I highly recommend the Kalamazoo Storage Pros! Top Notch! :)

Cube Smart is a clean facility with dependable service. I store my daughters dorm things there during summer recess. Getting a bin is an easy process. If you use your home insurance, youll almost cut your cost in half. I do recommend this company and feel that our belongings are safe there.

Robert and other staff members I met were personable and professional. Facility seems secure and well kept. I shopped, and pricing is competitive. Just moved items there yesterday, but so far dealing with CubeSmart has been a good experience.

Clean, secure facilities, friendly staff, reasonable pricing.Ive had to store things a few times and theyve treated me well. Started when they were Storage Pros. The name is different now, but its still the same staff and buildings. The staff know your name, even if you only come in once a month to pay the rent. They even gave me two days of overnight access when I first got a unit, so that I could still move my stuff in around my work schedule. It was a nice gesture.

Ive been using Storage Pros for more than 2 years now and I love it! Especially how clean and secure it is with the safety precautions and cameras. It kept my things safe and I like how some of the storages have 2 entrances so it would be easier to get things that are too close to the other end of the storage. Plus, the staff are very nice and welcoming. But most of all, I like that there are different sizes of storage so people with a smaller storage could save money! ^^

The onside manager (Kris I think) was terrific - we were a last minute, end of day customer who needed some temporary storage. I dropped in a day early and she was very willing to accommodate me and offered a larger unit the moment I expressed concern upon seeing the unit I had reserved. Used this storage for a few months. Good experience...I did have an issue when I was ready to move my stuff with Two Men and a Truck. My passcode to enter wouldnt work and the office wasnt open yet. I called the 800 number and they were able to help me.

When visiting the 11th street location I was helped by a young lady by the name of Jennifer. Jennifer walked me threw step by step and I really appreciate how polite she was, she offered water and allowed me to sit as long as I needed on that extremely hot day..Overall I was happy with the cleanliness of the facility and the great customer service, I’d definitely recommend this storage facility.

The staff is professional, informative and simply the kind of people I want to do business with. The facility is clean and well maintained. The drives were always clear of snow during the winter. My unit never had any problems with moister or unwanted pests.

Rented a unit and they padlocked it immediately. I called and got no answer so I waited the next day and was told they thought it was up for auction. I literally just rented it, aigned my lease and bought a lock. By the time I loaded up my stuff and came back, it was locked and I was stuck with a loaded truck. I had to wait until they removed the lock to come back just to use my unit. No comp, no deals, just an apology for the new customer who couldnt use their locker. This isba fun start.

* AVOID * !!I had a reservation on 17th November 2018I went to the office at 4:39 and no body was there in the office. When I called the first time someone told me wait until 5:02 if no body showed call us back again. When I called back again there was no reaction and the representative said that my reservation is cancelled because it is after office hours.I have been waiting for more than 20 minutes and no one showed up at the end they said my reservation was cancelled. If the stuff are not doing their job, that not my fault. And I rented a truck and filled it up, hoping to get a strorage and at the end no body was there!!SO SO SO DISRESPECTFUL!!

This facility has been a life-saver for me. Its safe, secure, immaculate, and the staff are always helpful, and even over-the-top with community events such as last Junes yard sale which drew hundreds of people, and they had barbequed hot dogs, beverages, balloons, and lots of happy customers and their families. If it were a hotel, Id want to live there! Best wishes to the staff.

The folks at Storage Pro in Kalamazoo have always been great to us. We travel a lot so we come and go and Kris has always been able to help us with storing our RV.

I rented a unit from them without telling me 2 days later the company had been sold/take over by cube smart now I have to do the paper work again and I no longer get to use their free truck to move my things, now the truck is broke down and they arent fixing it so I have a storage locking Im paying for and cant put anything in it because I drive a 2 door hatchback I cant fit anything in it. So after I was promised to use the truck while signing papers now I cant 3 days later so they are not holding up their end of the contract. Thats bad business and the word will be spread how their operation is be run. You have been warned.

STORAGE PROS KALAMAZOO AND STORAGE PROS PORTAGE SHARE THEIR FREE RENTAL TRUCK. I NEEDED THE TRUCK IN THE MORNING ON WEDNESDAY SO SHE CALLED TO CONFIRM THAT I COULD GET THE TRUCK WEDNESDAY MORNING. I TOLD BOTH KRIS AT STORAGE PROS KALAMAZOO AND LIVONIA AT STORAGE PROS PORTAGE THAT THIS MOVE WAS STRICTLY BASED ON ME GETTING THE TRUCK IN THE MORNING BECAUSE THAT WAS THE ONLY DAY WE HAD AVAILABLE. TO MAKE A LONG STORY SHORT THE TRUCK BROKE DOWN, I WASNT ABLE TO MOVE IN AND THEY SAID THEYRE KEEPING MY MONEY BECAUSE THEY DONT REFUNDS AND I SHOULD GET MY THINGS HERE IN MY CAR. THEY REFUSED TO GIVE ME A REFUND FOR A UNIT THAT I WAS NEVER ABLE TO USE AND SAID TAKE IT AS A LOST. SOME BUSINESS!! BEWARE PEOPLE

Pros: Staff is awesome and friendly, clean facilities.Cons: They build a climate control building, but then raise the rates for everyone it seems, to pay for it. Now it appears theyre going to build a new office, when the old one seems fine. Im just afraid theyll raise the rates for everyone again to pay for that. Theirprices seem just a little higher then every other facility in the area already. They dont seem to offer enough deals to current customers, except maybe 5% off if you pay a WHOLE YEAR in advance? They apparently dont remember that Michigan is suffering bad economically or just dont care.

Customer service was great; Got my pass code and tested it worked, manager informed me I didnt have 24 hour access. That itself is odd to me. But I could have it for a 15 dollar fee. So I payed it. when I arrived late from my shift, I entered my code. it told me I did not have access. Hmmm........Wasnt too thrilled with that. If it gets fixed Id glady rate 5 stars. If I pay for a unit why do I only have access under select hours.

Unit leaked massive amounts of water. Then it froze all of my electrical materials and tools to floor along with the door. Unit used for storage and didnt visit too often. NO PHONE CALLS . After 3 hours of chipping ice and a day of moving to toy box storage on sprinkle they would like me to come back and sweep the unit before they give me closing papers.This place is a joke.

Changed management half way through and the quality went down. It was dirty and my stuff had rat/mouse droppings all over it. Never had an issue of security but having to wash all my dishes because of droppings isnt fun .
