I’m only renting here because of the great reviews about the manager Johnny Blaze.I had the UNFORTUNATE experience of dealing with Madison today, who should find employment in a basement somewhere where she doesn’t have to talk to people.I went in to fill in my paperwork, asked for copies, which she groused about; I asked to see three different sizes of storage areas, which she reluctantly showed me.She would not even tell me the number of the storage unit I had chosen- “Well, you haven’t paid for it yet, and most people don’t even come back to claim their unit.”What a horrible attitude. If I didn’t have the faith that I do in humanity, I would conclude that this mean-spirited, unhappy, resentful woman is simply a horrible human being.

This storage facility is awesome! Great staff, safe for your belongings, climate controlled kept all my belongings safe as I stored film, negatives, old stuff. I was able to gain access at my leisure and when I had issues, the manager worked with me. I never had to worry about my belongings. I recommend this storage facility to everyone.storagestorage

Been using National Mini Storage on Gull Rd for work purposes the last 6 months and have had no issues and excellent service! The units are clean and maintained - and also very easy to get in and out of. Everything felt very safe and secure the whole time. Also - the manager Johnny Blaze is extremely friendly and very quick to respond if you need anything! Highly recommend.

The manager Johnny Blaze is a super star. For 3 years I rented a unit and Johnny was always friendly and kind - a real treat. The facilities were safe and clean. Easy access, and reasonable pricing.I highly recommend.

Great storage. Lots of options in sizes. Plenty of space. Easy to get in and out of. Manager is more than willing to help if we had any problems (only bees and they were taken care of quickly)Very safe, and secure. Would recommend for your storage needs!

After moving from Gull, I wasnt sure which U-haul place would be better. After talking with Julia I was able to find a storage unit and U-haul for an amazing price and coverage. Highly recommend coming to this location for a knowledgeable and friendly staff.

Went to rent a storage unit, had to wait outside, then the guy comes out super fast hands me 2 papers and said...before anything you need to fill this out and fax it to us and ran back in like i was sick or something but in a rude way....went to another storage unit place in Parchment in and out in 5 minutes and place looks way better with camaras everywhere, probably paying way more but just for the great customer service is worth it.

Very disappointed. I sent a reservation in on Saturday only to be told I wouldnt be able to rent until Monday because there wasnt enough time for paperwork and they were closed on Sunday...because I had hoped to have my house cleared of extra stuff by Monday evening, this made me nervous but the girl assured me that it would take two minutes to get everything taken care of Monday. She also suggested a bigger unit at a an advertised promotional price which I decided I wanted to do. It took until late afternoon Monday to get the rental agreement, and it was for the wrong unit at full price. I called and let them know. Another hour later and they sent another agreement still showing full price, but at least with the right size unit. The new rep could not explain why I had to sign an agreement for double each month what is advertised/what I was quoted and he assured me I was going to be paying the promotional cost...why would I believe that? SHADY! I will take my business elsewhere. This business wasted hours of my time, made false promises, asked me to email personal information, and then wanted me to trust that I would be charged less than what they were requiring me to sign.

I was in a pinch, over the weekend, to rent a storage and the manager was great. Other places told me to call Monday but Johny (manager) went the extra mile to help me out. I would highly recommend National Mini Storage.

The young man working here is expert at handling demanding customers (not us) and he was very helpful to me and my friend who had to move some belongings.

Safe, clean, highly recommend! ! Johnny and the owners honestly care about their customers great people to work with.

What is the point of having a person work in the U Haul office if you have to do it yourself online, this place sucks.

Units are nice but I thought they were too expensive. I had a 10x30 area with overhead door on each end and it was $245/mo. Units are clean and secure and they have a very nice office staff.

The management here is very helpful. Johnny Blaze is always on top of it when we come and is willing to help. I would highly recommend this storage location!

Got charged for a whole month I wasnt even using!@ I moved in on 06/22/2020 and moved out 07/20/2020 paid 40.00 to move in didnt even stay full month and they charged me 131.00 for Augusta rent and Im not even using their storage unit! Not to mention nice spiders, and roaches there!!! Give them a negative 0!!! Nothing but cheats and thieves!! Plus manager everytime we came was getting high with his friends!!

By far the best service and value of any rental / storage space in the Kalamazoo area. We ended up needing to upgrade our reserved space and it was no problem at all. Plus the manager is amazing. When I couldnt manoeuvre the Uhaul to get out of the storage facility due to another car, he gladly hopped in and took care of it for me. Complete life saver!

DISGUSTING! Stored my daughter items for a month. Spiders and spiders webs everywhere! Had to fumigate everything before moving to new apartment. Spiders eggs in blankets so we wanted to throw out at site instead of putting in car. “Manager” Johnny Blaze is the most ridiculous human being ever and would not let us throw it away on site. We had to pack the nastiness in our car and take it to another location. Gross and Nasty. I would go anywhere but there.

I stored my items here for a month and had to get rid of almost everything due to mice droppings all over my belongings. I knew the East side of town had a more significant vermin problem but my furniture was completely eaten through in that small amount of time. If you keep a clean home do not use this location. Its not as clean as stated...the last time I went in there someone had poured rice in different parts of the building Im guessing to attract more pests. This company can lie all they want to about its cleanliness but Im very disappointed with how infested that building is and how their insurance company handled my situation.

Easy setup. Extremely helpful with breaking down the rental agreement to the point they answered your questions before you have to ask them. Also makes you extremely comfortable with using their facilities with there friendly service and security. The gun tower with around the clock snipers help too.

Great experience. Called to find a storage unit and moved in later that day. Johnny was extremely helpful. Premises are clean, well lit, secure, and well-attended. Keypad locked gate. Manager on site. Would recommend.

I have never rented a storage unit before and was pleased with my experience here! It is very clean & secure, and the staff was extremely helpful! I mistakenly reserved a unit far too small for what I needed and he took the time to walk me around and show me some different options to make sure I got the appropriate size, although he was the only one there and quite busy. He also demonstrated how to install my lock which was extremely helpful! It is a typical cold Michigan winter and I would have been standing outside for a while trying to figure it out on my own. Highly recommend!

Very professional service. I needed climate controlled and rooms are clean and look well-kept.

I have to say this was one of the easiest moves that Ive had. The manager helped me get packing supplies when I came to look at the unit, so I had everything I needed before I moved my stuff in here. I would recommend them for anyone who is moving, and to top it off I picked up my U-haul at the store as well as dropped it off.

Horrible experience l! Stored my mothers belongings in storage for almost 2 years, and after she expired we went to clean out storage bin and everything was infested with mice feces! Brand new furniture, antique china cabinet among other things all destroyed! So upset! And this was the indoor climate control storage bin!

Only gave it one star. . 0 was not an option. Trailer broken in to, tv stolen, window broke out. Security is non existent! Never use again at any price.

They change the price every time you come into. They are not reliable. The storage areas are clean. I dont like having to put my code in when I leave, once when entering is enough. Not very helpful either.

When I had to move in a hurry I knew my mother wouldnt want all my stuff in her basement. So, National Mini Storage allowed me a place to store my things at a great rate! Now, my things are safe and I have access to them when I need them!

I rented a climate control unit for 2 years, not a happy camper. I suggest EXTREME CAUTION and constant monitoring if you use their climate control unit. These units have roof collapsing, leaks and rodent intrusion. I encountered water damage and rodent activity. You can smell mold when you enter the climate control building. Do not use go to Cube Smart Storage better and more modern concept on what climate control is expected to do to protect your belongings.

The service at this facility is very professional (Johnny). The facility is clean and safe. Its a very accommodating storage (auto, furniture, etc.). Its accessible during reasonable hours and very well maintained. -Shawn

If possible negative stars would be given, paid for 1 month, before that month was up, paid for a second month as I wasnt sure if I would be out b4 1st month was up.
