The associate often seen in lawn and Garden lounging around is an associate from the deli, NOT lawn and garden, he goes there on his breaks and annoys the customers and lawn and garden associates and makes the real lawn and garden associates look bad.

Parking lot is littered with trash. Store looked dirty. Produce section smelled like rotten fruit. The cashier didnt acknowledge me when I got up to the register. The lines for checkout are always super long with only 1 or 2 lanes open unless you check yourself out with 20 or under item section. This store is getting to be ridiculous!

They have the formula locked up and only a store associate can open it. I had to wait over 10 minutes and physically call the store just to get formula for my daughter, then they only have one lane open on a Friday night. Absolutely ridiculous.

One of the cleanest Wal-Mart I have ever been in! I usually go to Meijer in Ionia because I live up that way. And I dont normally shop at any Wal-Mart. But I needed cat food and whatnot before I forgot (again.) My poor cat had to actually catch a mouse. 😁

I always enjoy entering this building. They have everything in one building. Quality merchandise quality people. Thats making America great This establishment has my stamp of approval.

Dirty and chaotic. Went to the gardening department (indoors) and the employee was laying on some crates behind the register talking on his phone. He never got looked up once while we were there and we were loud enough to let someone know we were there. Floors were filthy throughout the store. Bathroom definitely in need of cleaning. Stuff was strewn throughout the aisles. Total chaos. Couldnt wait to leave and dont plan to go back.

Very nice low prices. Shelves were well stocked. But customer service is very poor.

They raised all the prices in the grocery center. Didnt even pay the employees more money. They would have the right amount of employees to open up the registers so life long customers can get out of the stores quicker instead of making the customers stuck in rediculously long line for 2 hrs at times. American greed at its finest. Should be ashamed of their selfes. Totally wrong.

We waited in the pop return line for over an hour. They had 2 bottle machines working. When it was finally our turn, the machine shut down, and customer service refused to help us. I will definitely go to Meijer next time

So many people working yet 1 registers open lines at the self scan yet nobody wiping off any screens between customers so no clue what your touching. And some people I know have contracted hand foot and mouth disease this last week and they all shopped there last week. So just imagine the COVID-19 exposure since nothing is wiped down between people. prices going up yet less customer service..

I have so much respect for the employees and what they’re forced to work through. The corporation itself needs to be better. Hardly any staff were working and only three lanes open, one of them being the self checkout area. The line was wrapped around and halfway down the grocery aisle. I ended up putting my stuff back on the shelves and drove to Meijer instead.

Help is rude and employees are willing to help a customer few and fir between what they consider important tasks.

I try to remain positive on Walmart...they have great selection and pricing but their checkout process is just getting worse and worse... over 30 people in line at self checkout today and two lines open with 7+ deep in both of those

The lines are always so long so I never go inside. I really enjoy the grocery pick up option. If I could rate that seperately I would give that a 5.

This Walmart in comparison to the other stores is the pits. They never have anything in stock nor do they update their web store regularly. Need something important then choose the other stores. Gull road will not have it

Would not recommend getting a phone at Walmart anywhere. They offer great price but its on their terms. Its rigged so you have to rent one of their phones, it advertised as bring your own but really cant.

Well if I could give a no star rating thats exactly what I give. Standing here in check out 1 lane seems pretty normal here. An the manager says yeah they need more cashers an remains to stand there. Simply ridiculous.

First of the security are real Jenks. Ask for the key to have someone get liquor out of the cabinet. Says I do not have the key. I never ask that. But can you get someone. He says I guess and walks off. I wait 10 minutes ask 6 others and then try to call the store directly and they never answer the phone. So now 20 minutes later 2 people show with the key. And can not get it open. Now the employee is real rude says he has worked there 18 years. And people will steal.if they want to. Well maybe move the liquor separate from the store and have someone use a register to check.it out. God knows they have enough registers they do not use. And make space for it. Simple. Do use u scan for alcohol. I am so over the store. I will use it for prescriptions only. Get lost walmart.very unsatisfied

Seems short staffed because of lack of products on the shelves. Employees will straight cut you off or walk right in front of you while stocking or finding stuff. Was trying to get done help in spring in the outdoor section and I had to wait until these 4 employees were done telling their story (about 15 min), after which I just gave up!If your willing to travel, go elsewhere!!

Most stores have stopped carrying a good selection of paints but our Walmart had a wonderful selection. I found the exact metallic dark gray I was searching for.

Very great store to shop at 100% but with checking out I would recommend the self check out, there cashiers are slow with a pinch of speedy ones, but the one thing that ticks me about them is they will often bag your bread WITH CANS OR EGGS STUFF THAT WILL CRUSH IT! Or the helpers that you call up when you need help at a self check out will never come! You can press that HELP button but still will have to leave your groceries to grab someone and risk the chance of having someones sticky fingers snack something. Other then that I recommend shopping here cause they do be having low prices and everything you need!

Walmart is one of the best Supercenters to do your shopping with almost whatever your needs may be. Always great deals, and everyday low prices. Thank you Walmart for the 5.5 star rating in making my day a little better. :)

Its a Walmart like all the rest. Not much difference between them.They carry on hand things that I often need. What I dont like is checking their website for items. Most of the things on their website they dont carry in the stores. I use they loosely because other companies have it and sell directly to the customer. Only if you want it shipped to the there will it ever see a Walmart store. How much is their cut? Id rather buy it online from someone else. Too many hands in the mix if you have trouble with your item.

Frequently out of stock on things, and generally a mess. Usually only one checkout lane and half the self checkouts open. Many things require an associate to unlock a cabinet for you because of shoplifting. This Walmart is the worst of the 3 in Kalamazoo county. At the end of the day its cheaper than the Meijer across the street, but only if they actually have what you need in stock.

You know it would be nice if more than 1, yes 1 checkout lane open at like 8pm on a Saturday night. Lately this location is going down hill. No cashiers, store dirty, product stacked in isles (making it awkward to do your shopping. Believe gonna loose our household shoppers due to these issues.

It takes 5 minutes before someone will even answer the phone. Once you get a customer service rep they cant look up a product with the number that you got off of the website. Asked to be transferred to that department and put on hold for 10 minutes. No o e picked up. Call back a d again takes forever for someone to answer, I tell them Ive been on hold for over 10 minutes, then told theyd page the department, another 5 minutes and nothing. Hung up and will take my money elsewhere. Not that this review will even make a difference.

Disgrace, electronics terrible Meiers is 10X better all the way around. Walmarts employees act like they dont even want to be there and reflects on their attitudes towards customers and from there the root of the problem is how they are treated so make it make sense!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I havent been in very many stores in over a year and I need to shop for groceries through the web and do curbside pick up. I just want to tell the people at my local Walmart (Gull Road) what a fabulous job you have been doing. The program you use for online shopping is easy to use and your customer service is exemplary. I may have even told the folks at Meijer to contact you for tips!

I want to give a shout out to Cora at the customer service desk! She was awesome in a bad situation. I ordered something from Walmart.com and she had the unfortunate job of informing me that I had to individually package all the items to send them back to the seller. Well after debating my situation for a minute I choose to purchase some envelopes and return the items. Well in the mean time my phone died and Cora had been moved to a register and checked me out. Well I mentioned to my daughter that I was going to need to use her phone to pull up my Walmart.com receipt. Cora told me that all I needed to give the associate at the desk was either my phone number or my email address and they could pull it up. Well, I did and the other associate loved my email address. I’m hoping the return works because I’ll be monitoring my Walmart money card for my refund in the coming days! If Walmart still has their 4 Star cashier of the month program I would nominate Cora! I was a Walmart cashier back in the early 2000’s so I have respect for these men and women who work there. Their job is hard. But it is awesome when a cashier’s smile doesn’t dim behind the mask 😷. You go Cora! Thank you! I would’ve given 5 stars for Cora but the whole Walmart.com return policy is a bit of a hassle for customers and that falls on Walmart not Cora!

There was a worker in electronics, when I found what I wanted (which took a total of 5 minutes at the most) the person had disappeared. I could find anyone to help so I will nit go back to that store.

I would give this place 5 stars except for an incident yesterday that caused a needless wait due to poor customer service and mismanagement.

I think the employees could use a little more training on to what to do for a situation like for instance people would cut in front of you at a checkout lane and the employees do not say anything to the person that cut in front of the other person at a checkout lane

I called looking for two 27 group batteries for my diesel pu truck, the guy who answered in automotive knew what I needed, he said we have them in stock I drove over and purchased the batteries, the sales person helped me right away, and said how can I help you, he also helped load them in a cart. The following day when I went back and got my core charge back another tech said, have a good day. The experience seems simple when I write it out but, so often you dont receive any customer service at all let alone the good service I received on those two days. 😉

Most of the staff is rude and unknowledgeable about everything. Many times I asked for help to find an item. They just said there is none in stock. Asked a manager to look. Oh look there they are. If you do not want to be there then quit your job that way someone that needs a job and is willing to actually help someone can have that job.

Great place to shop for groceries. Self check outs go fairly fast. If you want someone to check you out it may take a l-o-o-ong time.

Worst Walmart in the Kalamazoo area, or maybe in the state of Michigan. 4 lanes open on a Saturday at 2pm. I waited in line for over an hour because the cashier moved like a sloth. All the other employees standing up front looking clueless and just stare at you as you walk out. Bathrooms are always a mess with toilet paper covering the floors. Customer service is awful and employees just say “I don’t know” when asked about a product. Only go to this Walmart if you know exactly where the product is and don’t need any help, don’t need to use the bathroom, or if you’re willing to wait in line for more than an hour when there’s only 3 other lanes open (or less). If I could rate this store 0 stars I would.

An employee was very rude when I had to say excuse me so I could reach an item and then I got the wrong stuff. One department didnt have something I wanted and employee knew nothing. No help at self check out for security item and help with item that could not scan. Things not in right spot for prices. Shelfs bare in several areas. More rude people than nice, workers. I dont like Meijer but certainly need to reconsider it ..

Went to go exchange a blind that was the wrong size on a Sunday at 5 pm and the service desk was closed. Plus only one lane open ( backed up past the jewelery counter) besides self scan. Rediculous if you ask me.

Dirty, slow, inefficient. Every time I go which is less than a month I have to deal with someone an employee or customer not wearing their Mask properly and others who are in charge dismiss it never say anything Im tired of being the bad guy Im tired of looking at butt cracks from the men

If you want black or colored cardstock then this place got you covered. there are not enough self check outs tho,so if dont expect make a quick payment at the self check out.

I very much like shopping at Wal-Mart. Rarely can I go there and not find what I need, if not more. Always decent prices. The only hold-up is that most Wal-Marts sell meat and produce that are lacking in flavor and/or quality. Otherwise...enjoy finding decent items, at relatively great prices!

The store was messy as always and shelves were empty in spots. Some employees are extremely friendly and helpful. Pharmacy has problems getting all your prescriptions to you at one time. Fabric selection has gone down and the heavy set guy in electronics needs some customer service training.

The security plp are not nice and they follow u in the parking lot and they tell you, if u dont get out of the car in 10m of parking u are trying to steal n u are not a good person to be in the store. I have no clue what they consider a good person utilizing the same word as I am a good person who is not a thief and that is a promise 💯
