While Miles might be a very knowledgeable and legit mechanic, Id STRONGLY urge you to rethink bringing a boat to him for any type of service. Just pay extra at a marina. We had our new (to us) boat taken to him, in his possession for a total of 3 weeks collectively, $500 paid - our boat is not fixed. Just like a car, you need to test your work, take it on the water, see your repairs through. Miles simply isnt willing to do this. Im really disappointed honestly. Id ask, why have marine repair on your sign and google profile if youre not willing to dedicate yourself to the repair the same way you are a car. Just stop advertising it - period. Guess well go spend even more money at a marina and wait another 3 weeks now. Thanks Miles (insert sarcasm)!

Myles saved me $1350 the first visit on my 2005 Volvo! The other place in town that specializes in Volvo repairs wanted $1500 to fix my air conditioning and charged me $100 just to look at it. Myles fixed it for $150 and it has been running great since. We have been bringing our Volvos for maintenance and repairs for over 5 years now. He has been honest, punctual and his shop is clean and organized! Saved us a lot of money over the years!

I took my car in to maxim and Miles was very helpful and was able to exam. And inspected my car And explain what i needed done. I left it there the next morning and in a few hours it was fixed and running like new again !! Great job and reasonable prices. I recommend to all take your sick car in and miles will make it better!!

Excellent shop! Knew what it was and had it fixed in ten minutes. Other shops told me I had to leave the car and they would get to it when they could or wanted to wait a week for an appointment. Highly recommend this place!

Wow Maxim Auto is THE BEST! My heater quit working & Miles fixed it that day & even stayed late to do it. Miles is very knowledgeable & trustworthy. Maxim Auto is the place I always recommend. He works on cars, trucks & boats. I am so thankful for the wonderful, dependable & trustworthy help with my 2001 Ford Focus. My cars heater suddenly quit getting warm. It was the thermostat housing & hose leaked out my anti freeze. This is a 5 star mechanic!

Have taken our car here a handful of times and have never had a bad experience. Its such a relief knowing that Miles is so knowledgeable and honest and not to mention, very affordable. He always knows exactly whats wrong, even when we worry its something else. If we have questions, even after weve left, he is kind enough to explain and answer our concerns. We were recommended to him by a friend and now we recommend our friends to him. To have complete trust and comfort in a mechanic is important. So glad we discovered Maxim Auto.

Missing parts when they were done with their repair they didnt complete repairs but did cut my wires!! Instead. Definitely dont take any vehicle here call a lawyer!

I asked for a quote and confirmed that no work would be done on my vehicle before receiving the go-ahead from me. They completeled all repairs they could find before telling me how much any of it would cost. Made me spend $500 I was not ready or willing to spend. They even have a sign in their office for Michigan Compliance that states they WILL send any customer a quote for repairs totalling greater than $50 before they do any work. Very disapointed with the ethical and organizational abilities with regard to that. The extra star comes from doing decent work and fairly quickly. My recommendation to anyone considering them is make sure that you get a quote before they start work on your car!
