Its been close to 2 months since having heads and cam installed in my C6Z & I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out. Great communication throughout the entire process from Austin. Absolutely fantastic shop and highly professional staff on board. A dropped my 6th gen Camaro off for a bunch of upgrades including forged internals, 416 stroker crank and a Holley highram. Let me tell you about my fantastic experience here. Called two weeks ago asking for a quote to do some tuning on a 14 ram and some nos, long tube headers on 16 challenger. Anthony took my info and was to get a quote made up. Week passed and heard nothing. Called today for an update and was told he “briefly” remembers our conversation and that they are not to take on Mopar vehicles unless they were built in the shop. Said they haven’t taken on any Mopar work for over a year. Well thanks for wasting my time. If this is how you treat new customers, then nice. I would not take any vehicle here because of their disorganization and their great customer service. Found a reliable performance shop near Detroit.

I took my 2014 1LE camaro to the shop. I spoke with them before bringing it over on goals and a game plan on what would be best for me. The car ran strong before going but had goals of bigger numbers. We came up with a stroker engine with a larger procharger and ended up doing a full drive line. The car made amazing power and the drive line came out perfect. Everyone at this shop is professional and very helpful. They communicate openly and often and they do fantastic work. My car came out of the shop just under a 1000 wheel and it runs as if it were factory. Smooth idle and a great tune. These guys definitely know what they are doing and would recommend them to anyone I know.

Extremely Knowledgeable and Talented Crew/Performance Shop. I took my 2015 GMC Sierra to them for some repairs, upgrades and a tune. These guys get right down to business and will be Completely Honest and Upfront. My Trucks Procharged Gen V 5.3 ending up being fully Rebuilt and they went Above And Beyond with every part of the Process. I picked up my car roughly 2 weeks ago. They put in a Brian Tooley racing stage 4 cam, converter and ported heads. It came out great and the build video was sweet as well. Hello, I have a 2014 c7 corvette that I wanted heads/ cam swap done so after doing research and price comparison online with other competitors, I found strictly to be thousands cheaper.. seemed to good to be true at first but reading the comments and reviews it seemed like a reliable company. I setup a price over email and next day drove down there to drop my vet off. first impressions with the building all the tools, equipment was spotless, no mess anywhere, very nice hoist and floor was spotless. from the shop to the bathrooms, felt like a 5 stars. so at this point I wasnt worried at all.. The same day I get a email and they had my car dynode, motor out, heads sent off.... Wowafter 3 weeks my heads came back, the car was put together and switched to flex fuel and I added some more little things when the motor was already out.they were fast and did quality work with pictures !I 100% recommend this company, I havent had any problems with my car yet, and if I did I think they would be there to help.From the price to the quality its a great company.

I never take my car(s) anywhere to get worked on but, after getting my car back from the guys at Strictly today, they have my trust %110. I brought my 2017 Mustang GT in for long tubes and a custom dyno tune. Im so glad I chose to have Strictly do the work. Tanner and the staff go WAY above and beyond to provide customer peace of mind and satisfaction. I brought in my 2003 Hummer H2 to get an upgraded cam and headers/exhaust installed to improve the performance. I always wanted to put in a supercharger to dramatically improve the performance and they were great in taking the time to discuss the options available. We ended up putting in a Whipple Supercharger and stage 2 cam and it runs great. The custom work that was needed to install the supercharger was top notch and looks great(see there Facebook page for photos and video). I would recommend anyone looking to improve the performance of their vehicle to talk with Strictly Performance.

These guys are awesome, i had brought my Pontiac G8 to them for a tune after a few winter mods. I had a feeling there was something else wrong with the car because it was running really rough! They found that the entire driver side had no spark and fixed that for me. The tune brought my car to life, alot better then the last guy who tuned it. They cut a second off my 1/4 mile time, and it still has nice street manners.

I’ve dealt with these guys for a while either for parts or service, really great guys.In my experience and as well as experience of friends/acquaintances, the guys at Strictly always do their best to take care of their customers and really care and take pride in the work they do.Their new shop is awesome, and they have an in-house machine shop! Professional and very clean shop. Drove over 2 hours away to drop my 14 Camaro 1LE off to do the BTR stage 4 cam kit. 3 days later picked it up and drove back like a factory vehicle still. They review your goals with your vehicle and make sure that you are not over your head in budget to complete the vehicle in a timely manner.Ive had my vehicle there for a staged engine build and another time for a turbo upgrade along with other items. I couldnt be happier with my dialed in 398hp 380tq WRX 5 Speed.They recently have gone through some changes while Ive worked with them. From changing locations to a new fantastic tuner. Its all been for the best. If you have a opportunity if youre in the Kalamazoo area go check them out. You wont be disappointed.

Ive had my 370z in their shop for a few things from trans work to wiring and other mechanical issues. Strictly has always been super fair and more with me on regards to pricing and have done exceptional work on my car with a good turnaround time. Would recommend to others.

I had this shop install a turbo upgrade on my Focus ST and some other parts along with it. Everything went very smoothly and I am extremely satisfied. Its been over a year and I havent had a single problem with anything related to their work.

Ive been here quite a few times now, to either get maintenance done or for getting parts installed with a protune. They do great work and offer great advice.

Took our Subaru Outback there to get the head gaskets done. Their quote ($900) was half the next cheapest quote that was, surprisingly, from Maple Hill Subaru. Though some unforeseen expenses did bump the price up, it was still significantly cheaper and the quality of their work leaves me very confident in the car now. It did take nearly two weeks to get the car done, but they did make it clear that they were very busy, and I made it clear that we were in no hurry.

I would be very cautious when dealing with this company. I decided to have them build my subaru engine in February. They told me they needed the money up front (about $7500) and that my engine would be done and shipped in a few weeks. Every time I was able to get a hold of them (only when I called from a different number) I was told that my engine would be ready to ship by the following week. Its is now the end of July and I am still getting the run around. I have been with out a car for almost 6 months and they have not done anything to try to fix the situation. If I could give them a lower rating I could.

Every time something goes wrong with my car and need something SIM always has it, easy to work with, good prices, and hell of a staff. Never had any problems with them i suggest this is the place to go if you need an engine build or just car parts in general. Thanks for everything SIM.

I just want some advice on what to do with a problem that happens at Strictly Performance Motorsport located in Portage, Michigan. The story is that I took my 2004 Subaru to them in 2016 to install a brand new Engine to make high HP. I bought their engine and decide to have it install somewhere else since I live two hrs away from Michigan, I went back to have them fix the problem that it was having, at that time the engine had zero miles when bought because the car wasn’t starting. When I took my car to them they took about four months to have it running. I came back to come pick it up since it was ready to go, that engine didn’t even last me even a month. I woke up one day, to start up my car and it was making a weird noise. Immediately I knew it was a spun rod. I had to tow my car all the way to Michigan once again with a problem that they cause. Strictly stated, it was my fault that it was a spun rod, which before I got my car back they stated that they were cranking my car so many time to have it started. At that time, we decide to work something out which they basically rebuild my engine. They only replace the two rods and two pistons that weren’t good. Upon pick up, they were charging me four rods which were only two. Once again they took about six months to have it running and when I called in every time they always stated it was almost done. I was struggling with not having a car since my Subaru was the only car I had, so I felt the need to buy another car. At the end, I got my car six months later. Then I pick up my car in the month of April of this year. But the engine didn’t even last me a week and gave out in three days. I took my car again to them and they stated the fault was mine because I didn’t install an air filter. Which makes no sense on the failure on the second engine. I found out the failure of the engine was due to the fault of the internals that did not have the necessary oil. Which causes the engine to lock up. The engine did not even reach the twelve-thousand miles’ mark that was warranted and promise to me. I also noticed oil stains in my driveway during the time it was actually running. On April I picked up my vehicle with a blinking oil light flashing on my dashboard. I informed them about it, but they claimed it was completely fine, and they couldn’t solve the problem of the warning light. Another problem we had was; I was never given a dyno sheet from the second turbo I purchased from them. When I asked, they provided me a dyno sheet of my old turbo that was tuned from the previous past before purchasing the new turbo I bought from them. I currently have three to four dyno sheets from the old turbo that are the same that they provide me. Also, the dates of the dyno sheet indicated the month of previous past, not from April. The only dates that were provided and changed were the day of the dyno sheet being printed out from the shop. We tried to work something out, but I felt like I couldn’t trust them anymore.

EDIT BELOW-----These guys are great!! Had a 05 Subie Outback XT, engine blew. Have had the engine for 8 months and 10k miles. They built me a stage one motor and I had a bunch of up grades I did myself; she runs flawless!!! Had it tuned after I did some exhaust upgrades and wow the difference is crazy! Once these guys make a customer they take damn good care of them. Some of the work took awhile, but one thing Ive learned, good work takes time and dont rush the mechanic!EDIT---- Changing my review to one star... I put about 5 thousand miles on my engine they built and it blew, they never properly diagnosed what blew my engine. Turns out I have a bad injector that blew it the first time, and this time. This is the best part... Apparently its not warrantied because I had a different master mechanic install it (same guy who pulled the engine). Now had I known or been told this I would have just had them install the damn thing. After all it was 9k all said and done. So I was really bummed at all this... But I was still willing to work with them, so I asked them of they could rip into it and see whats damaged and repair it. Allen says no, only a complete rebuild, we dont want our name on it if it happens again. Hey! Your name is already on the damn thing!Very disappointed with you all that you werent even willing to try and work with me to fix this after all the money I gave you guys...
