What an amazing week in Maui. We did many adventurous things on our trip (many on the recommendation of our kite surf instructor) but the best part about the trip was the great instruction at Kite Hi for my 14 year old son. John had him up and riding after a few hours of instruction and he gave me many tips and helped my kite surfing in a big way as well. He really drilled into both of us the essential safety skills required for us to both be independent kiters and we will always remember our time with Kite Hi with reverence and the amazing adventures that he recommended to us. Jon and Kite HI are amazing. Jon has a very relaxed teaching style making the lesson feel more like a really knowledgeable friend is teaching you and not an instructor. I spent 4 days with Jon who took me from a struggling beginner to self sufficient up wind rider (even in light winds).

The best kiteboarding school in MauiIf you really want to learn to kite or make progress... this school is the best choice!Initially, I signed up with another school on the beach but it was such a big disappointment ... So grateful to have Kite HI here in Maui to buy my Ozone Kites from.. I can say there is no better deal out there! These kites have the best performance - literally It feels like the Ferrari of kites and Ive tried many brands- but they are durable, the quality is incredible and have helped me enormously to become a more proficient kiteboarder. This is the best school for learning kiteboarding, these guys are truly Jedi masters pro riders and instructors. Also located on great beach for checking out the sport to watch them do big air, plenty of shade and very close to all the action. We loved our kitesurfing experience in Maui with Kite HI and will definitely plan another trip to get better. Thank you for all the patience with us and see you next year for more kitesurfing lesson
