They always have what I want and need. QFC is having problems. Kroger ruined them.

Crimini mushrooms were sold out at my usual Safeway. The selection here was excellent!

I was in here last week to have some balloons inflated. At first I was told it would be a 2 hour wait since it was a large order and they were a little backed up, but they got another employee over and did it then and there in under 10 minutes. I really appreciated it and the staff was really nice. They arranged the balloons in such a pretty way and put a giant bag over them for protection. As I was fumbling out of the store with my giant baloon bouquet I knocked over a fancy planted orchid. I was so embarrassed! A supervisor was walking by just then and came to start cleaning up. I apologized profusely and offered to pay for the damage but he shrugged it off and said it happens more than you think. Very friendly and helpful staff at this location.

The traffic flow in this store is somewhat chaotic as the front checkout area often tend to jam up and slow down the checkout process. But its the only Safeway available close to the San Juan Islands ferries. Prices are still more reasonable than SJ island markets.

Quick and convenient. More self serve than Customer Service or LIVE Cashiers available. Bright freshly stocked for the upcoming Holiday.. Gas points..!!!!

Clean and well-stocked. Consistent with all Safeway stores where I have shopped.

Current store is looking much better since the new store manager arrived. Store is well stocked and mgr Heather is smart, decisive and outgoing. Only issue with the store would be the local homeless population that steals and become aggressive.

Employees are rude and clueless. Costumer service is closed @ 7pm so you can not get carpet cleaner, money order, lottery tickets either. But employees don’t know this so have to ask other what is happening with the customer service area. Employees don’t know how to do most of their jobs. This location has been becoming more and more useless everyday.

Safeways cool they always put it in a convenient location but its still not better than WinCo

This grocery store is definitely convenient in terms of location and hours! They need a security guard though.

If you are looking for a store that has what you need go somewhere else. This store is rarely ever stocked. Even what you would think are the most common items are regularly out and are so for days at a time.Place is an actual joke.

This Safeway location is a favorite for me. Friendly, informative, helpfull

They dont have the same selection as some of the larger locations, but they have enough and its very clean for the most part. This is my usual go-to for quick grocery shopping in between my bigger trips which require broader selections.

They used to have a good customer service system however now their customer service is going downhill remarkably they do not have many things in their shells anymore they used to have generic brands alongside the main brands however they dont do this too much anymore

Friendly neighborhood and shopping centerPlace can get busy but for the most part its nothing like being at a Costco and being busy .Its the atmosphere and the good vibes I like about being here.

This is the best Safeway I have ever shopped at. It is never crowded no matter what time I shop there. There is never more than 3 people in the checkout lines. Staff members are friendly and extremely helpful. The produce section is always well stocked. They have an excellent bakery and deli section. The parking lot is never full, I always find a parking space. I never have to drive around to find an open parking stall. I always go out of my way to shop this Safeway.The only issue I have with this store is the restrooms are not routinely cleaned. There is a homeless person issue in the area. They usually use the restrooms to conduct their personal hygiene and leave a filthy mess. There is usually no paper towels to dry your hands and toilet paper is scattered around the floor. The lighting inside the restrooms is minimal and the floors are filthy.

Ive shopped at this store for 30 years. Variety and pricing of products is pretty good. The store is clean, and staff is great. However, this store is increasingly plagued by the stench and too-frequent misbehavior of homeless patrons. They need visible security on site. I will no longer stop here in the evening.

Most products they carry are great. I wish there were a few items which they do not carry.

Great finds for certain items. It all depends on what the buyers find on the surplus market so dont depend on your favorites being there every time you shop.

Im not sure if its just that Im not used to this store, but I find the layout really confusing. It took me much longer than it should have for a relatively small shopping trip. The good news is that theyre happy to help if you can find someone who works there.

Safeway is way too expensive. The one closest to my house is a little smaller than others so they seem to run out of items sooner. The selection of items are less than other stores and they dont mark down items that are close to expiration anymore wich Im assuming they would rather throw it away instead of giving their customers a break. Overall I would give them 2 stars I guess even though the lameness out weighs the goodness. They are open til midnight with makes up for a few cons.

I didnt see ANY sign saying the restrooms were closed at 9pm, and Id been searching for a restroom for an hour. It was 10pm and I finally found some relief. Yay! A loud bang on the door scared me half to death so I rush out and dont see anyone so I proceed to the door and as I am leaving an older gentleman Im guessing who was the janitor yells, WHAT ARE YOU DOING? THE RESTROOMS CLOSE AT 9PM!Silly story for this review but how was I supposed to know the restrooms hours of operation? 🙄

Very clean well stocked store. Except this morning the bakery burned the energy bars and the other pastries and have the nerve to try and sell them.😡

This Safeway is well-kept, well-lit, and has a very nice self-checkout section with stations six feet apart. The Managers specials and Clearances are great values. The produce and fruits are fresh and plentiful.

Nice small store, not very in depth for grocery items or cooking, but a good place to stop for a quick shop.

Safeway 0n Roosevelt is a Super market its clean and the employees are kinda nice...as they dont seem burnt out and are friendly there is also a lot of parking available with a garage for those rainy days or topside if you are not choosy so to wrap it up ill shop there again

This is our neighborhood Safeway and has pretty much all of food and other items that we need for day to day life.

This place is the best you always get assistance and friendly people i love this Safeway so much i travel out of my way from u district just to shop over here.

Looked clean a bit of a different set up than Im used to but I managed.

In a word, friendly! The customer service at this place is off the chart, from the produce guy to the butcher to the bakery manager to the checkers, both at self-service and cashier checkouts.Also, let me sugar corrupt you and recommend the bakery packages of 8 fresh baked chocolate croissants for a mere $5. I toast them at 375 degrees for 4 minutes.Yr welcome.

Very clean not grow it great place to grocery

I found what I wanted and being it that its late they had cashiers working. Unlike the QFC on 145th and 15th which after certain hour has only the self-checkout.

Great place and has everything you want. The employees were nice and super helpful even when I was making mistakes.

One of my faves. A little smaller that the wedgwood one, but has everything I need laid out well. One entrance, wide aisles, and the pharmacy has Covid vaccine.

This safeway is always clean. As well as the bathroom.The deli always has fresh hot and cold food.Usually its hard to find what you want, Im new to the area and I was expressed with how easy it was to find everything.

Trashy hole of a place. And the West door is and will always be closed, although there is no sign.

I needed milk so badly as I completly spaced going to the grocery store early today and my kiddo most of the time is expecting to have milk with his cereal. I have always loved shopping at this safeway but tonights interaction may have just changed my mind. I looked online before leaving my house and heading to this store and it stated open until 1am. I pulled into the parking lotat 12:48 ad ran up to the store. I already felt bad for cutting it close o closing time but was thankful there was a store still open to pick milk up from. The front doors were unlocked so i started walking back towards the section where milk is until I was stopped by a younger cashier and he stated that the store was closed and i needed to leave. When i asked him if they close at oe he stated i was wrong that they close their doors at midnight. This was so frusterating considaring i would not have left my house if online had not stated open until 1am. It would be nice to have the correct times listed. So i just got back home empty handed and extremly frusterated with safeway.

This is one of the bigger Safeway store in town so they have a better selection in basically every department. Its also a nice and newer store, compared to some others. The bakery here is probably the best one out of any of the many Safeway stores in town! Whoever makes those delicious doughnuts in the morning really knows what their doing and should definitely keep that employee around for as long as possible!!

Was on my way to friend’s house for potluck and a grill. Safeway had a sale on mini lobster tails, and I was running late. So I called the seafood Dept and asked if I could get 9 packed to go when I got there. The manager immediately said “no problem” and took my name. 10 minutes later, I was there and 5 minutes after that I was checked out and on my way. Not only was I on time, but they were the absolute hit of the party!!!!!! Special thanks to the attentive service and great attitude for sure!!!

Nice lot, yard, kind of small and dark inside making you lay out a bit cramped. Decent product, decent price. Norm what you would and should expect from a top National supermarket chain. Staff is friendly enough and courteous enough and not too unprofessional .

Have lived by this Safeway since 1993 and it has been steadily declining for the past 5 years. Always panhandlers in the parking lot, see drug deals going on in the parking lot all the time, assaults have happened in the store, the Management seems to do nothing about it. The restroom is appalling. The selection gets worse all the time. Even though I live within walking distance I sometimes go to Shoreline store as I feel much safer there. Management needs to get security to police the lot to help customers feel safe and chase the crime away.

Well stocked, well staffed and in a convenient location. What more could I ask from a grocery store. Thank you Safeway.

If you are used to the safeways on aurora or in the subs dont come in expecting many options. Thats to be expected but the word part was what thru didnt have seemed to not make sense.. They had a lot of brie cheese but no parm? Or an ungodly amount of noodles but only banza for the gf options? I also gave up on the meat section. Nobody had pasta that night.

Probably would have been just another trip to Safeway, which is a preferred store for me. However I needed to use the restroom, and the state it was in was appalling. Especially during a pandemic! It was near dark in there, with the lights on(some real Stephen king vibes). Both paper towel dispensers were broken, and just had paper towels sitting on top of one. The toilet seat was about completely off. And the TP was on the floor! Disgusting!

Best Safeway in North Seattle. I drive out of my way to come to this Safeway. Friendly people, good service and a wide selection of everything you need.

I only shop for cheese bagels and milk at Safeway, this stores cheese bagels were awful looking! I did not buy them. Plus they had no cheaper whole milk then there own brand. But the cashier was very sweet and i appreciate all of there hard work. Good customer service is always important.

Great convenient place to shop, wide selection and the bakery department staff are amazing. They made specific things for me while I waited.

Great selection of items; always have a bunch of items. Staff is super friendly. My only negative is that Ive witnessed a theft almost every time while shopping there which makes me and my family uncomfortable, hence why this is our 2nd choice of grocery store to shop at in the area.

The 125th NE store ( Victory Heights) is 💯 better than the 172nd NE store (North City)

This stores prices on sale items are usually incorrect. Out of my last 5 visits, each one has required an employee to adjust the price because an item didnt ring up right. Ive started taking pictures of the sale prices just to save time. Like this one - rang up as 6.99 as my Club card price.The employees here are great, its whomever is in charge of this stores computers/register prices that is not doing their job. Ive never seen such a long-term pricing issue at any other grocery store, including other Safeway stores.

This location is too difficult to deal with, which is a shame because the selection is decent.

The worst layout of merchandise down each aisle that Ive ever experienced in a grocery market.

Hassled by a couple guys outside the store. There doesnt seem to be any security here and a lot of need for it.

This place have beautiful flowers, and fresh produce to get the whole time of the year.
