One of the best health food stores on island, and also has a healthy breakfast and lunch menu. Even better they have an app you can place orders on for less waiting.

Wonderful staff and great food at their Broth restaurant with locally sourced ingredients. The menu is created by Chef Noah Schuster. Try the Sourdough Kimchi grilled cheese with broth to dip it in or the stuffed eggplant panzanella with GF croutons and cashew cream. Youll thank me.

Stopped by the Broth cafe in this health food store on a whim and I think it’s my favorite meal so far. We had the pork bone broth ramen with soba and tofu (great texture in tofu, flavorful broth that is soaked right up by the noodles) and mac crack fish bowl (best cooked fish we’ve had in Hawaii) and the mango Pono Pie (tastes just like mango pudding but healthier). The only thing we didn’t love as much was the lilikoi lemonade as it was very tart. We will be back before we leave!

Dennis the owner is so KNOWLEDGEABLE! So kind! So loving! And the Wahines there are most excellent! They treat me with such care and gentle kindness. They are so compassionate. I stopped here for breakfast yesterday after driving into Kahului from Hāna along the beautiful highway 360. A beautiful health food store that also serves homemade food. As I am now Vegan this store has some amazing vegan and gluten free options. I had their Mountain Bowl with purple sweet potato, banana, strawberries and granola.....beautiful!!

Sandwiches are really awesome, fish or chicken with fresh vegetables in them. I also get the Mac Crack Fish Bowl and Lemongrass Chicken when Im working in town. While Im getting lunch I always get my regular supplements or learn about new ones, Tiana and Gabriella are awesome wahines with upbeat energy every time I come in. I look forward to my work days in town and coming into Alive and Well for lunch.

I was again craving some Acai bowl for breakfast and decided to try out Alive & Well based on their excellent Yelp reviews. The parking lot was full so I parked next door at HomeWorld (lots of spots) who I dont think really mind at all. Itss mostly a health food store but they also have a deli like area. I was really tempted to try their breakfast burrito because it was around $6.00 and sounded good and filling; but I stuck to my first craving and got the Acai bowl. It was very tasty and I would order it again but its on the small side if you get the regular so I suggest ordering the larger bowl. Nice and friendly service.

Best vegetarian Ramen option on Maui. Many times Ive gone to get vegetarian Ramen elsewhere only to get a shellfish broth which I am very allergic to. So glad I can enjoy my noodles without risking my life.

This noon, 3 of us ordered 2 drinks (1 coffee, 1fresh juice) & 1salad at the counter & then sat on the Chairs & couch provided. Shortly after sitting down, a man walked up behind me & said that we had to wear our masks as we sat there or his place would be shut down for non-compliance to patrons NOT wearing a mask. My friend asks how were we to drink the drinks (while wearing a mask) we had just ordered from the counter & how was our other friend to eat his salad while wearing his mask? I personally felt that this was way beyond this mans understanding of the mask mandate. County of Maui- Public Health emergency rules is customers must wear face coverings when entering & leaving the food establishment, but may remove the face coverings while seated. I will not recommend Alive & Well to any one after being mistreated like this. Completely ridiculous. If we weren’t to sit there, why does he have the chairs, couches & tables available.

Queen beet juice is the BEST!!Tried many “beet juices” on island and never enjoyed, but girl working there encouraged me to try and I’m so glad I did!

I can’t say enough about the rebirth of the alive and well deli and prepared foods section. It has become so much more and rapidly a go-to option for healthy and tasty meals when cooking is not in the cards. A lot of care has gone into the preparations and it shows. Show them some love and see for yourself.

Came for lunch at Broth Cafe and loved everything! Delicious flavors and nourishing, healthy food. Definitely making a return visit to try the ramen!

First time was great, second time today was a disaster. The food was really burnt, forgot the main part of the dish like oh I dont know...the sauce! The quinoa. Im really disappointed because I called to get it corrected but we couldnt come in again because we are disabled, but we were next to their place. Im almost ready to pass out and I told the lady on the phone that. They issued new food and a discount but how can we come in again? Customer service isnt like it use to be. So much for Aloha. They know who we are now by this review. You couldnt offer to bring the new food? I dont waste time making stuff up. I just am hurt and disappointed. We wont be coming back!

We ate lunch here and enjoyed the healthiness and delicious taste of our meals. I had an ahi tuna sandwich which came with sprouts, cucumber, lettuce, and tomato. We also had a spinach salad with currants. They fresh squeezed vegetable and fruit smoothies. The have a great grocery and health products section Lots of great juices and much other stuff.

Thereʻs more health in this one store, than there is in an entire pharmacy. Staff is knowledgeable and service is great!

Ive recently discovered Alive & Well for my supplement and health food needs. Staff is always friendly. Store is bright and welcoming. Stopped in here for lunch today to try out their newly opened Cafe, Broth I think it was called. Had the chef special Steak Poke bowl. Delicious! Good presentation, food was fresh. Iced bulletproof coffee was tasty. They had a good looking menu too, they had several things I wanted to try. Looks like Ill be going back. Cafe was super clean, staff were kind and worked fast. Also I appreciate that they used compostable non plastic items where possible. Safe for the ocean, mahalo! Very highly recommended.

I go here several times a month because I just love the quality of seafood and what they have to offer in the deli especially theyre wonderful Tuesdays and smoothies! Their prices are better than whole foods for almost everything. I love the different type of water filters. I recently found some new ones to try like the alkaline filter. Love the variety of drinks, essential oils, and their brand of supplements. I usually can find informative helpful advice for any of my health concerns. Highly recommend this very friendly establishment They are the real deal!

Small, but efficient, health food store. Very good deli food, but also pretty expensive. I went in after 6pm (they close at 7) and the deli was mostly empty, but the remainder had been packaged and was half off making it more affordable.

Great assortment of vitamins, etc. Staff is extremely knowledgable and eager to answer questions and give suggestions for what ails you. Theres also a great deli. Love their kale salad! They also have some great imported food items and a great produce section. Beautiful health food store.

I come here to get Ocean Salad every time I drive by. Nice staff and good products. Tons of their products are way less expensive than Whole Foods two, just realized.

Nice little oceanic grocery store at kahului. the deli is nice but unfortunately nothing really vegan or gluten free. for this i can give only 4 stars. the juices and the smoothies are good. A larger nutrition and dietary supplement selection

Like a free visit to the naturopath! On holiday from Canada, something caused a reemergence of my SIBO. Its such a specialized thing, I thought there was no way anyone would be able to help me until I got home, but at Alive and Well I spoke with Dennis (after another customer walked away from him and said to me this mans a genius, if you need anything ask him!) who immediately started asking very knowledgeable questions about my health and what I was currently doing. He recommended colloidal silver and another immune boosting product after explaining why he was recommending both. I couldnt have felt more cared for. Thank you so much to Dennis and Alive and Well for helping me enjoy the rest of my vacation!!

This is my favorite place to get salads. Also, my favorite for hot foods. They have a lot of fish dishes(real tasty & healthy). I would pick this place first, before I go to another restaurant or grocery store.

Delicious food from the Deli. I usually get the salad trio and a green smoothie, but they have healthy hot foods and sandwiches as wel. Also lots of supplements and counseling. Great spot breakfast and lunch.

I went in to buy some vitamins and ended up eating and doing some shopping. They have very good food including raw food and meats. Was delicious and just what I like.

I love Dennis and Mona and everyone at Alive and Well. They have done more to help me and my family stay healthy than all the doctors Weve ever seen and we rarely go to the doctor any more. If you want to take back your health, this is the place to go.

I have to say this is my favorite place to shop on Maui. They know my name, greet me when I walk in, and I love the rawfood selection. If I need a supplement, they work hard to get it for me, even if that means special ordering it or shipping it to my parents in AZ. The place just has a great local vibe and I think its because its family-run business. And at least the deli and produce are organic!!! Mahalos to the entire store!

I called this store because they were listed as a store that sold Primal Raw Dig food on the Primal Pet Food website. I asked the guy that answered the phone if they carried Primal and he wasnt sure at first and then offered to check. He told me they did carry the freeze dried bags and that was what I was looking for because the frozen patties have had some shipping issues lately and I no longer want to talk the chance that they have been thawed and re-frozen so I have switched to the freeze dried bags. Plus the cost should be less since the shipping is less because they dont have to be air shipped. Well, after he told me what they had and the cost I almost fainted. They are charging $45 for the same $27 bag I have been getting on Amazon Prime. Plus I pay no tax or shipping with Amazon Prime. When I asked him why they charge so much he said that is usually the care with all products in Maui. I have been living in Maui for 11 years and I do see a slight price increase in products but never almost 50%. I refuse to shop at stores that take advantage of marking things up like this and if they continue to do so, I believe they will eventually go out of business which will be their own fault. Bad business!
