He has always stocked all of the greatest gear and guitars, but now has the greatest selection of ukuleles. This is the place with the original 2 for 1 guitar strings that has saved us guys tons over the years. Today I had a return for a speaker that wasnt up to snuff and without question they tested a new one and loaded it in my car in less than 15 minutes. It turns out that the speaker I had did work and they gave me few tips on how to operate it and I was on my way to the gig... Kudos to Bounty Music for creating a safe and effective “storefront” to keep up their business through these tough times. The staff set up a screen monitor so that customers can view items on their website and make selections to have brought out for me to see. It’s obviously essential to be able to be able to try out an instrument before buying but it also works great checking out and buying the good quality music stand that i needed. I am so glad to see local businesses like this show how they can beat out an Amazon with a superior shopping experience.

I rent a guitar from Bounty music every year while vacationing in Maui. It is much easier than dragging my gear through the airports. The staff at Bounty makes renting a very painless experience. They have a variety of rental equipment to choose from always set up with extra strings, tuner, etc.The staff is always friendly and easy to work with. This past January I actually purchased the rental guitar and had it sent back to Michigan. I highly recommend working with Bounty Music and their staff for your music needs!

I have been renting a guitar from Bounty Music for the past four years. Although living on Oahu I prefer not to drag my guitar to Mau and it’s a pleasure knowing that I have a great rental store that carries superb instruments. When I moved to Maui I was worried that finding quality music equipment might be a challenge. I stopped into Bounty Music to check things out and was immediately relieved to find a well stocked selection of all the necessities. I have since purchased 2 guitars and multiple accessories from Bounty, and each experience has been top notch. The staff is very knowledgeable and willing to hear your needs, with plenty of tips and tricks from their own experiences along the way.

This is a great store. The customer service is excellent. They are helpful but not pushy. They know their stuff. They have a good mix of products. Prices are good. I bought a new electric piano, there was a small issue with a couple of the keys and they replaced the keyboard no questions asked. Cant ask for more.

A staff member named “Tyler” assisted me in not only trying one, but encouraged me to play several other V models to compare. I recently went to Bounty Music to get a guitar. I have a nice guitar at home but I dont want to travel with it so wanted something to to play here. The entire staff at Bounty Music were very helpful. I was given time to explore the inventory on my own,even encouraged to play the guitars that interested me. I never felt pushed or pressured. At one point, percussion eggs were brought into the play and we all had a good time. In the end, I bought a a great sounding guitar at a fare price and I am very pleased. This is definitely the place to go for all your music needs.

I’ve been buying and renting sound equipment from these guys since I moved here in 2005. Service is always excellent, the price is just as good as any website and I’m 15 minutes away from any gear I need. My event rental company has been renting sound equipment from them for a few years now and I’m always surprised with the quality of equipment they offer. I don’t know anybody that works there, so I am not being biased, but I would highly recommend this local shop for anyone needing music equipment.

I bought 2 guitars there. Im happy with the guitars so they get an extra star. Their service is awful. I get that artistic people shouldnt be expected to be the most professional at work so I gave them slack. I brought my guitar in to get serviced (strings buzzing on electric). Guy X says The guy who can fix that isnt here today and to start the process you gotta talk to Guy Y over there. ( is there really only one person out of the 6 here that knows how to put a tag on a guitar with my name/#/ and problem?) I couldnt believe only one person knew how to adjust it that worked AT A GUITAR/UKULELE SHOP. Guy X ditches me and Im left stranded. There was more that day but Ill stop here because Guy Y basically ignored me and helped people behind me.I left it there (finally, and it wasnt guy Y who helped but a girl who saw me there in line for 20 min and felt bad, she put a tag on the guitar with name/#/ and problem). 2 days later I called to see how it was going. They said Dude, well call you when its ready, click. I went there 3 days after I left it and they said it hadnt been touched. Would you trust a mechanic who didnt even touch your car after 3 days in the shop? I wouldnt. I took it home, watched YouTube videos and got it done.If you need something NOW you have to go there. I love to support local business, even if theyre more expensive (to be fair in my cases they were not more expensive than online). However, I wont support any business that is careless with me.

Went in to Bounty Music for new Ukelele strings on Christmas Eve. The young man that assisted us was incredibly rude! Initially, he was troubled by the fact that there were two wound strings on my ukulele. Then, after not being able to locate the matching set of strings, he stated that he would just eyeball it. He became even more rude after the young lady told him to verify by speaking to someone else. He refused. We were so offended, we left. Not enough room to finish my review..

Called ahead to see if they had a specific tuner for my ukulele, which they did. When I arrived, they had it at the desk, waiting for me. And what an inventory of ukuleles. I have never seen so many from which to select. Definitely a great music store.

I love this place! Just head to Bounty for all your music needs, from instruments to books to everything. Really friendly atmosphere and the staff is very helpful - all are experienced musicians with a lovely attitude (Tyler is amazing, but all the other guys are super cool too!) I particularly like their big selection of ukuleles, but you can also find a huge variety in keyboards, drums, guitars etc.. Prices are reasonable, and they often have irresistible offers :) I enjoy every visit to Bounty Music, I highly recommend this shop!

Our salesperson Tyler, couldnt have been nicer or more informative. He showed her a beautiful mahogany finished Kala in her price range that also happened to be on sale. Not far from Pier 1 and a few minutes from Kahului airport is the best music store on Maui. Although they do not have the floor space of a large retail chain, somehow they usually have what I need in stock. Truth be told, they have what I dont need in stock too, as I just purchased PRS baritone guitar. Of course, I needed a case too, so my wife doesnt see that I bought another guitar.I watch YouTube videos on the latest products. Chances are Bounty music has them in stock. I dont know how they do it, but Ive bought items here for a better price than what Ive found online.The employees seem nice and let me browse without pressure. Theyll let you try any instrument too. Mom and Pop stores have been disappearing on Maui so please go to Bounty Music and buy something so this gem of a store does not disappear too.
