I was greeted at the door and someone helped me find just what I was looking for! Great gift idea and plenty of beauty products! No line either. I came at the right time. Friendly cashier too! Mask are worn in the store and there is sanitizer.

Literally so pleased with my experience last night at this location. Went in to pick up an order and Bri helped me- we started chatting about what my concerns were/why I was switching to the foundation I was picking up- and asked her if she had a solution for the weird texture and crumbling issue I’m having with foundation- she led me right to the Benefit display and showed me the combo pack with their primer and setting spray- sold. Then showed me a mascara from Benefit that I’ll have to try next time (just stocked up on the stuff I already use). Next I needed a super pigmented gold eyeshadow for a special occasion this weekend and she helped me pick out a vibrant Urban Decay shadow! It was all super quick- I was in and out in like 15 minutes. My makeup is staying on better today (even with a mask!) and I’m feeling much more comfortable in my skin. Thank you for employing people like Bri and the other girls working last night- they were all delightful!

Beware of the hair salon. The first time went okay, but this last time after cutting length (I said not to) layers were cut and I was then expected to point out all the unblended parts for her to blend like what? Im so disappointed and sad 9 months worth of growth is gone all over again and I cant even put my hair down its so bad

Maria is magic♥️My hair was a strawberry blond from pulling out permanent color.I am growing out my natural silver and white down to my ears. So as you can tell, this combo wasn’t looking good. We decided doing a weave and a toner would pull everything together. Her expertise and eye for color brought it all together beautifully!Love the haircut too! I just want to say, first off, it was really nice and the service was great. I have really bad social anxiety though, so while I was walking around looking for stuff, keep a note this is my first time going to an Alta, I passed by one of the workers and she asked if we wanted to go see something. And me and the person I was with said yes and she took us over and talked about a product and then kept walking around with us and it was kind of awkward because I didnt want to talk. I didnt know her so it makes sense why I didnt want to talk but she kept pushing to talk about makeup and such, if youre reading this I am so sorry I am socially awkward and kind of depressed. Overall really good service and really pretty makeup and such.

The staff at ULTA Beauty was amazing they actually answered questions & were knowledgeable about products on the floor. Joe directed me to the mens facial products & Cassie was so helpful at the cash register I got my friend a free lip gloss & lip liner by Kylie for signing up for a card. I also got a free bottle of 1 step face cleanser for my birthday (4/18). Then we went for haircuts my best friend & I. Nicky went first, Maria is our hair Artist! Shes the coolest chick and a flawless hair stylist. Katie also works In the salon . They are super friendly and covid complient. They will make you look Fabulous!

Great selection of products. Every brand of make-up and tools to apply each as well. The employees are also very nice and super helpful. The lip gloss color I was looking for they were actually out of and the employee who came over to help me didn’t try to up sell me or anything. She was honest, told me when they would be getting a new shipment of the Clinique Almost LipStick. Which is what I wanted and what I was there for.

Great location. Very helpful staff and management. Always well stocked and great displays. Maria is my stylist and colorist. Beautiful work and so attentive and informative. Shes wonderful. I find Ulta to be a very good value. Its a one stop shop for sure. Gina always has great gift ideas when I need them. Very sharp crew here. I just love coming here. You cant go wrong.

Super impressed with the service here the last few times Ive been in. There was a gentleman that helped me who wore his makeup flawlessly so I felt comfortable asking for his help. He was amazing and super confident in his job. He knew my colors really well just by looking at me. Each product that hes suggested and Ive worn has been spot on. I wish I could remember his name.I also got a haircut from Brittany. She listened to me so I got the cut that I actually wanted and she paid attention so there werent any issues after I left and styled it myself.The staff has been very friendly and welcoming. I feel more confident going in here and asking for help without feeling judged or being tricked into purchasing something I dont need nor even want.If it helps, I only come in after 6pm or on Mondays. Not sure what the service is like during the day.

Terrible customer service. I’m learning Ulta is pretty consistent with rude employees no matter the location. Maybe they will eventually realize they are in the service industry. But I’ll be shopping at Sephora so no matter to me. Ultra a sad excuse of a business

My friend and I went in a few days ago and had one of the best shopping experiences at this location. The young ladies were very patient and helpful with my friend needing makeup for a wedding she was attending a few days later. It’s a larger store than on Cedar Blvd., and all the staff were friendly and welcoming.

Irina at the Benefit brow bar is simply AMAZING! She is very professional and always accommodating. I highly recommend her no matter what your brows look like. She is knowledgable, her work is clean, and I trust her product recommendations. She is the only person I let wax my brows. Go to Ulta at Washington Square and schedule with Irina!

Horrible experience with Desiree the Prestige Sales Manager who was exceptionally rude to both myself and multiple customers who called on the phone. She would actually yell at customers on the phone for calling in.It wasnt until I told her we wouldnt be spending large amounts of money (in about 3 months my wife achieved diamond status with their rewards program) at Ulta again that she finally apologized to me. Probably some of the worst customer service I have EVER received from Ulta and will definitely impact my future purchases.

The person who checked me out was so helpful. Show me how to get the app to get coupons.

Went in to grab a few things and found so much more with the help of the manager Kristen! You can tell she know what she is doing! Knows her product and is so friendly! Will be back for her help!

Most recent update: Ive been seeing Maria and Cody for my hair and brows for a year now and I wont go to anyone else. They are the best!!Original review: I had my hair cut by Maria and she did a fantastic job. Shes friendly and listens and executed the haircut really well, exactly how I wanted it. I dont usually leave reviews but I cant recommend her enough. I plan to come back for makeup and to get my brows done as well. Great service and an all-in-one shop for beauty needs.Update: I went back today for another haircut and had a great experience again. Maria was extremely patient with my indecisive self when I couldnt decide whether I should keep or grow out my bangs while I sat and dithered for probably ten minutes unsure what to do. My haircut turned out great and I was really pleased with the end results. Shes a gem and I definitely recommend her for anyone looking for a new stylist!Ive also had my brows done at the Benefit brow bar twice by Cody, who is fantastic. He can take unruly brows and work his magic and make them look on point. When I asked for help he also showed me how to properly use some brow make-up products that Id been using incorrectly.Im surprised other reviewers have had such bad experiences because all the employees Ive run into at Ulta have been super helpful and friendly.

I love ultra and the staff working there. I personally go here the most for The Salon. Luz is my hairstylist and she is the best one Ive had. I highly recommend you go to her for any of your hair care needs or if you wanna cut or color your hair.

General manager has terrible customer service and store is set up very poorly. Will never be returning. Other employees were incredibly pleasant, but the manager was so incredibly rude and I feel bad for her employees.

Had my hair cut by Caitlyn. She was very nice and did a good job. She wasnt pushy to buy products which I love. Thats always a turn off. I also love that I could make my appointment online without even having to call. Hopefully I have found my new go to stylist. Ill be back.

Seems the service has improved....but I can always count on Bre for excellence service! She always has a smile, offers suggestions and has a genuineness about her that keeps you in a conversation. She also tries to help others around her while with a customer, always aware of her surroundings.As a former management recruiter and trainee for a major retail company, I would have tried to recruit her in a second! Hey Ulta, hire more people like Bre!

WAIST OF TIME

I went in here to buy some cheaper foundation about a month ago. I asked one guy for help and he didn’t even look at me. He pretended I wasn’t there. All of the employees were just standing around talking to each other and there were tons of customers there. I asked a bigger woman if she could help me find a shade and she told me just to look over in the aisle next to the register. The only reason I won’t give this experience one star is because the girls at the register were extremely kind.

This place is to expensive, I needed help with perfume. I asked for help and the lady just said this is all we have. I said, could you help my a little more, i dont know what I am doing and she just walked away.

Usually not stocked with everything I need but still a full store with salon services. Helpful staff sometimes. Decent parking and close to Sephora at Washington Square if I have to hit both.

I love this Ulta! They always have so much to choose from and the employees are usually helpful. Also they have an amazing rewards program compared to Sephora! Would recommend this location!

Maybe Ulta just isnt my store. I found the layout a bit confusing and had some trouble tracking down want I wanted. Ultimately, I had to go find help to find what I wanted. However, when I did find an associate, they were very friendly and knowledgeable. Im very happy with the Juice Beauty line that she suggested.

The manager is extremely unhelpful! Do t know why I went to thus store when I know they have terrible customer service. I will gladly drive a longer distance for good customer service. Nyberg ULTA is amazing!

I scheduled a styling appointment for maternity photo shoot for November 2nd at 11:30. A few days before I got a call from the salon saying they overbooked and needed to move my appointment to later in the afternoon. I told them that I couldnt because I scheduled my appointment at 11:30 because I had a makeup appointment at 12:30pm and that this for my maternity photo shoot. They were like umm ok well how about 11:45 that should be enough time. I showed up at 11:35 because my mama taught me to always be a few minutes early instead of late. By noon I was still not being helped so I left to head off to my next appointment. I will never be coming back to this location. Who does this to someone knowing how important it was to them. I never got a call from the salon asking where I went. I tried to call and talk to the store manager before posting this review and nobody will answer the phone. I would recommend NEVER coming to this place!

Was there this morning and the resident hairstylist and her client were having a very loud conversation about how annoyed they were that Oregon was becoming so overcrowded with outsiders. Saying there should be laws against allowing people to move here, and if you can’t drive in rain stay home and so on. As someone who moved to Oregon 3 years ago I didn’t appreciate the conversation that could be heard throughout the entire store as I’m trying to enjoy a day of shopping. Maybe Ulta should have a code of conduct for professionalism for their stylists.

Theres a cashier named Lacey that will lie to your face to get your number for promotional deals. I dont like my personal phone to be bombarded with promotional texts or calls, so I never give it out. She lied and told me they were out of receipt tape so I give it to her and immediately following the transaction a receipt prints out. I confront her and she replies well we have to give you a receipt somehow. The general manager continues to perpetuate the lie when I confronted her about it as well. I ask to return the products out of principle and want to take my business elsewhere and she couldnt even figure out how to do that, although that was probably a lie too. How pathetic. Will never shop there again.

Great place for all you need with makeup lotions exct

So, being a guy who has never been in a makeup store before, I was a little nervous and unsure what to expect going to ulta. Luckily, a very helpful associate, I think her name was koi, made the experience much less painful than I was expecting. She was very knowledgeable about the various colognes and helped me pick out a great scent for a good price.

Wanted to get a gift card for the wife, and the hot girl at the counter was pleasant and friendly. Pushed too hard for personal information for their databases.... they need to back off on that.

I had very bad experience with manager of ulta salon her name is Jennifer. I had appointment with her to do highlights for my hair and when I arrived on time There was another lady had appointment at the same time of mine but she prefer here on me and make here ahead of me because I’m not white and I feel discriminated. And she makes me waited more than 40 min after my appointment time.

Great selection of makeup,hair stuff everything good... But the line was long and moved too slow....

The sales associates barely paid attention, even when checking me out. The checkout girl was more interested in talking with someone getting checked out at another kiosk, and handed me my purchases without a bag. She seemed like she couldn’t wait to get rid of me.

Im done with this location because of the extremely rude and easily irritated witch with the black hair and sour face, who also wears foundation thats 2 shades too light for her face. Every time I need assistance, I always get stuck with her and its never a pleasant experience. The smirks and eye rolls are totally uncalled for, but I cant help but laugh because shes obviously extremely insecure and uncomfortable in her own skin and it shows in her less than sub par customer service skills. Every time I go here, Im shocked she still has her job. Wont be back.

Has a wonderful selection of make up from classic products your grandma would wear to popular products models would wear, skin care section was lacking for me but a good place for picking up your favorites😊

Your lead cashier Breanna is EXTREMELY rude on ill equipped to be working your front counter, she gave me massive attitude when I asked about the gift with 16.50$ ultra purchase and proceeded to huff and puff when she had to walk 3 feet to get it. She wasnt helpful or interested in me as a customer. HOWEVER the lovely lady in the back that works in your salon was quick to help me and give me advice on purple shampoo. For being a lead cashier she is far from what I usually encounter at any Ulta store. Her bad attitude outweighed the pleasant experience in the back. I wont be returning. Ill be going to the tualatin location.

Very dissapointed with the ahi salad. I was so hungry... The menu has a wasabi vinagrette....but it actually had a cream sauce instead. Ugh. They took it back and gave me another. But that didnt taste right either. The service was slow but pleasant.

I just went into this location, my home store. I was trying to exchange a highlighter and purchase other items along with it. The cashier, Coi, was not only very slow moving but also not personable whatsoever. They kept having to ask the manager how to look things up, while interrupting the managers conversation with a customer that she was ringing out. It made for a very awkward atmosphere, though the manager was handling herself well. When it came time to pay, I showed my classic $3.50 off $15 coupon and Coi applied it. I handed over a $5 reward card as well. Coi tried to apply it, then abruptly said this wont work, you cant have 2 coupons. And I told them that I want to use the $5 reward card instead of the $3.50, and Coi almost mockingly (my interpretation, of course) said oh, you wanna use your $5 coupon?. And I told them yes, that it was a better idea. So Coi then interrupted the manager again and said, in a tone that felt shameful towards me, she doesnt want to use that coupon, she wants to use a different one. The manager basically said that Coi would have to hold the transaction and start over. Coi turned to me and asked if I just wanted to save my $5 reward for a different time. I said no, I mean..the reward card expires this month. I told them that was a big inconvenience, but sure. It was just overall NOT a pleasant experience. I felt chastised for making an exchange and wanting to use a coupon I had earned and definitely felt like I was inconveniencing THEM. Coi was either new or just really didnt care. Either way, they did not show very good customer experience. And again, this whole transaction took probably 10 minutes to do, start to finish. Its sad to me, because normally the cashier tries hard to help accommodate for customers. And its the store i visit often, but sadly, i will not be returning to this location. Id rather drive to Nyberg.

Had a police officer show up because I had boughten to many things. Didn’t get confronted but ruined my shopping day.

Took me a little longer than expected to get help here but once I got someone it was great service and I got what I needed instead of what I wanted. That means a lot to me. Lots of selections.

I went in last night 30 minutes befor they closed and I felt horrible for coming in so late, but I had the absolute worst day and with tears in my eyes I was trying to find a eyelash serum because I screwed up my eyelashes. Then less than 5 minutes passed and this very sweet women came by to help me. She was so kind and cared about helping me, she talked to me about everything and made me feel 100 times better. She got me the exact thing I needed and helped me pick out other great items to make me feel pretty again:) she is the ideal person for customer service. Ammiel made my awful day turn around in less the 30 minutes, she is a wonderful, thoughtful, kind hearted person and defiantly deserves to be promoted. I will come back only because of her!Thank you Ammiel for being so compassionate.
