How can the peanut better &white chocolate be so balanced? It is not too sweet but so satisfying! Best mochi Ive ever had and the best dessert in Maui.You can call them the day before and pre-order because the mochi do run out. We tried it once in the middle of our Maui stay, and on the last day we bought 3 more dozens to bring back to our friends in the mainland.

My goodness, I almost dont want to review this place for fear of it getting way too popular--they sell out by early afternoon as it is. This is the best mochi on the island, bar none! I especially love the chocolate and the peanut butter mochi, which leads me to a serious dilemma: how many should I buy to eat immediately, how many can I fit in my luggage, and how do I allocate my precious, limited supply of mochi to my loved ones back home?

If you need something tasty and local to take home from Maui, this is it. We discovered Maui Specially Chocolates several trips ago and have made it a point to stop by for our favorite Kona coffee dark chocolates (there are milk chocolate ps, too - just not for us). When we were heading home on a red-eye, we bought a cooler bag and carried the chocolates around so they wouldn’t melt in the hot car. They are that good.

Excellent peanut butter mochi...b careful as somehow there was hard peanut butter shells inside...?. Or like black pieces of plastic.. Dont know how it got in... We just end up throwing the rest away...poho...waste... Mom just threw away the rest along with the plastic piece....

I really enjoyed this shop. Goo selection of house made chocolate but the real treat is the daily made fresh mochi. I would definately come back for that.

The mochi here is the best I’ve had! The flavors they had available for us were chocolate peanut butter and red bean, but, more importantly, the mochi itself melts in your mouth and is so tender.

Everything is so yummy!! Wish I had planned better so that I could take home some mochi but they are closed Sunday and Monday and were leaving Monday so buying it 2 days earlier wouldnt last much longer when I get home. Still picked up a few boxes of Kona Coffee chocolates and some chocolate dipped wafer rolls!

A bit pricey but it has a lot of good treats. The mochi was the main thing we came here for- so good! I would suggest coming here for gifts for back home if youre visiting. Or just for a treat. The chocolate is amazing as well.The parking is sufficient and they take phone orders as well. Ive been to Maui numerous times and finally tried this place. I was not disappointed. If it was not for the price, Id give it 5 stars. But its a business and I get it. Ill still come here next time.

I didnt expect much walking in but in the end Im so glad I did! The dark mochi chocolate truffles were amazing! I also got a bunch of other ones though I havent tried them yet. I bit expensive but well worth the money to support this awesome family owned shop and its Hawaii.

Came here with my friends for a nice treat- My expectations completely reached! May be a bit pricy, but definitely worth it! The mochi was delicious. I absolutely fell in love with the chocolate truffle mochi. Be sure to preorder or come early for the mochi, its gone fast! The other desserts were amazing as well. Definitely recommend.

Family run business with specialty goodies and delicious stuffed mochi. The peanut butter and truffle mochi are our faves. They also have little treats for goodie bags and other items. Go early because they sell out. I always send family there on the way to the airport to get goodies to take back with them.

Delicious mochi and chocolates. Go early for mochi or call in to order it. We tried all three and my favorite was the adzuki, followed by dark chocolate and the peanut butter/chocolate one. The peanut butter cups (individual ones) are awesome. A great spot that is a must for dessert lovers.

A woman on the plane told me about this place and Im so glad she did. I always have to make a stop here before going back to Oahu. Their specialty is mochi. Super soft mochi. But also the flavors are phenomenal. The peanut butter/milk chocolate is my favorite. Chunky peanut butter mixed with milk chocolate inside of that super soft mochi. SO good. The other flavor is dark chocolate filling inside of dark chocolate mochi.Inside a small inconspicuous strip mall. Lots of parking and never very crowded. I was told that I had to get there early to get mochi. Ive always gone before 1 or so and havent had trouble but around Christmas I wasnt able to get the dark chocolate one and the peanut butter inventory was low.

Specialty chocolate shop this is! Yummy! They have exotic chocolate offerings! But we mostly come here for the exotic mochi (pounded rice sweet dumplings)... even though they have the perennial favorite adzuki bean filled mochi... we normally get the fresh peanut butter filled mochi (so good!)...They also take special orders, but if youre ordering to take back to the mainland... Order ahead and not over the weekend.

I cant decide which one I like better between the peanut butter milk chocolate mochi or the dark chocolate truffle mochi. They are both just so good you wont be able to decide!The mochi is nice and soft. Their filling is the perfect amount and goes great with the mochi. The dark chocolate truffle is rich and decadent. The peanut butter milk chocolate mochi is sweet and has a nice texture to it. The mochi is a just a little pricey but well worth it. You can purchase the mochi in 5, 8 or 12 packs.They have other mochi and chocolate items but I didnt get a chance to see everything they had, the mochi had me as soon as I walked in.This place is about 5 minutes away from the airport so you can grab some on the way to the airport or as soon as you land if you just cant wait to enjoy this mochi. They have a small parking lot. The store isnt very big and the staff is really friendly.As everyone says, make sure you call ahead to order or see whats left to make sure they have what you want. I would also recommend to bring a cooler bag to keep these babies nice for the trip if youre bringing them as omiyage...if they even make it to the plane.This is a def must stop place in Maui!
