Everyone was nice until the deal was done. Our car was leased, we returned early because we moved back to the mainland. At the end of the day, we were told by the financial manager (I believe his name was Philip) they were going to send us a check because the Kia Sorrento we returned was worth more so there was a balanced. It’s been more than 10 weeks and nothing from Kia. We called constantly just looking for answers. We understand just this process might take some time, but the simple fact we can’t get a hold of Phillip and now Kia in Maui now sends us straight to voicemail. All we want is an explanation, a call back, some sort of good service. Nothing!!! We’ve been with Kia for ever a decade and this is how Kia treats a long term customer? Imagine how they treat new customers. Of course before they get your money, they will answer any questions you have, but once they have your sale/commission, they Ghost you! Especially Phillip the financial manager.

Everyone at Aloha Kia was absolutely amazing. When I was in need of a new car this month I called every dealership on the island, and these guys were the most friendly, helpful, and genuine people of all of them. The manager Philip and sales associate Jude who were so helpful and kind, and Ty who sold us the car was so incredibly amazing, she absolutely went above and beyond to help me get this car! I am so happy with my Kia Soul and the service I got and would recommend anyone purchase a car here.

Bought my first Kia here in August of 2009 when the new 2010 Souls came out. How wonderful this dealership is! The staff worked with me for 3 hours that evening until we hammered out a price, trade in and payments that met my criteria. I was treated with respect as a consumer, negotiator, and a woman. I have verbally reccommended this dealership to any person who will tolerate me gushing on. The service dept has been very helpful in accommodating my warranty work. These cordial folks even drive me to the mall and back while my car is in the shop. I havent experienced any need for repairs on my vehicle in 8 years. See us in a Kia!

I highly recommend Kia of Maui. I did not even buy my Kia from them yet they took care of me as if I had bought my car there. Sad to say I wish I had given them my business. These guys are the real deal I ended up having a very nice conversation with the general manager and did not even know it till the sales manager told me. He didnt push me to get a new car. He just wanted to make sure they were taking care of me. Some of the best cars out there and Im a mechanic so I know and the best dealership on the island hands down. Not sure if this joint is owned by the same guy JF who owns practically every other dealership on Maui, but once again stopped in, not one person came out to the lot to ask if I needed help or even check on me and I stood on the lot browsing the vehicles for about 20 minutes. What a joke.

They couldnt have made it easier, saved us from making some mistakes on insurance, helped us build my wifes credit and kept us from buying a darker shade of car. Sun here is very hot and we wanted black, BAD IDEA, black gets crazy hot, and wares in the salt/sun.THANK YOU, Your ownership should know they are getting their moneys worth when they write your paychecks. I even helped them sell a car to a new customer who I met in a Home Depot parking lot, sent him straight to the dealership and told him not to think twice. Great dealership. great car.UPDATE: I have had several standard manufacturing issues with the car. Kia has stood behind every one of them and paid the bill to fix it themselves. Purchased a used vehicle from Aloha Kia. I ended up paying a little above the KBB due to the car having extra low miles, only 1 owner, and a clean carfax. Also because of their assurance that the car had been inspected by their service department and everything was in good shape.Well, about 2 weeks later the car started making a whining noise that was worse when I turned the wheel. My suspicions turned out to be right and the power steering hose was leaking and needed to be replaced. Brought it back to Aloha Kia and the most they did was not charge the diagnostic fee, wow, thanks! Still quoted over $800 to replace the hose. I find it really hard to believe that the leak originated during the 2 weeks after purchase.Lesson learned on my part...I would not recommend anyone buy a used vehicle from Aloha Kia.

Well we bought another car from my wife had a little boo boo with her old one that we had for over 15 years cant say enough about the service there at Kia in Kahului what I mean actions speak louder than words that are that are awesome true no pressure salesman and that is the only car lot Ive ever been to where I was not pressured whatsoever to buy their car I was pressuring them to hurry up so that we could buy the car the same day of my wifes accident which we did without a glitch so Im sure well be seeing them again another 10 years or so

This place is a joke!! Rude!! we walked in with a check from our bank to buy a pre owned jeep. They had no clue what they were talking about. this jeep was sitting on lot for 5 months. no wonder they cannot sell it. the manager actually came out and asked why we were raising our voices. We also walked in at the end of the day so they were not happy about that. i work way to hard for my money to be treated like that!! I hope it sits there for 5 more months! Unfortunately the first night we went to look at it we had a great sales guy..

My wife traded in her Nissan for a 2015 Kia Soul today. The entire experience was seamless - sales expert Akira and finance manager Jay Biringer were awesome. Everyone was pleasant, professional, and no hard sales. Jay got her an awesome interest rate, and Akira showed her all the detailed features before we drove off. Overall, a great experience. Plus, they install lifts and off road tires, so Im going back next month to get my new Maui off road hunting vehicle. Happy wife, happy life, thanks guys.

My daughters 2014 KIA Optima LX recently had the engine MIL (malfunction) warning light illuminate for impending problem with the car. The service department handled this situation without hesitation promptly engaging the use of electronic equipment (scanner) to diagnose the problem. Initial response was a code P0420, Warm Up Catalyst Efficiency Below Threshold, no other codes were found pointing to any further corrective action. The MIL came on again a week later but WITHOUT A CODE. Indications were impending failure of the combination EXHAUST MANIFOLD CATALYTIC CONVERTER and a replacement was ordered. Lo and behold, in less than a week the new part arrived, service scheduled for this morning, 3 hours elapsed, complimentary car wash-multi point inspection-interior vacuumed, no out of pocket $$$, WARRANTY COVERAGE! MAHALO: David Kubo, Patrick Miyamoto, Service tech, all concerned!

I bought a used car from them. I put money down and everything. The car breaks down the very next day. There is nothing they will do but take more money for another car. This is what the manager tells me. You dont need to be Chinese about the money. How is that stuff. Worst place to go.
