Great parts dept. Good customer service!
Brought my 2013 Mazda 3 in to get it diagnosed. A few days earlier, almost all the dash warning lights came on & I couldnt get the keyless ignition to shut the car off even after holding down the button for 6 secs (to kill the engine), it would go into accessory mode. The service dept guy that took my info was very nice. He said 3 hrs diagnosis at $160/hr. I said I would only authorize 2 hours. Later that day he called, said Mazda trained tech spent more hours on it & codes said to change the ignition button to see if that fixes it. Cost $350. And weeks to get the button, $125 for the part & 1.5 hrs estimate to install it...after removing the entire dash. No thanks!Found a mobile mechanic from a referral. He came with diagnostic tablet & in less than 20 mins, could see the history of all inactive & active codes on my car. The code for ignition button came up but showed the Mazda tech had needed to go deeper which said code was due to something with the ABS. He cleared all the codes & the only code that has returned 10 days later is the airbag & the car shuts off perfectly. Why did it take hours to see codes by Mazda tech when I watched the codes boot up in a few minutes?Wished I had found the mechanic before I dropped $350 for nothing.
Had my F150 towed in overnight, they called me at 8am and had a diagnosis the same day and repairs complete the next morning. Problems all solved at reasonable price.BUT, the standout is the customer service. The service department people are just cool. 100% would recommend and would return.
James Weaver and the lady up front was super appreciate you getting our Ford Transit back to us Thank You robert!
Easy in, easy out of service area parking lot this time. On time, quick service.
Scam alert. These guys play dirty pool. Had a price listed then raised it. Price gouging at its finest.
James Weaver helped me tremendously with my car. He was very friendly, had great knowledge of the car (escape hybrid) and shared valuable information with me. He gave me some tips that will save me a lot of money in the upkeep of my car.I found him very client oriented, professional and empathetic. I had a great experience at Valley isle motors and I am glad to know I have a good place to go, when my car needs attention.
Customer service was great. I was greeted by Michelle, who was very attentive to my presence, as soon as I walked into the door. Anthony, my service adviser was courteous and made me feel cared for. He was very attentive to my needs and treated me like family.Steve in the body shop was also great to work with. He too made me feel welcomed and important. This was one of the best days i have experienced taking my car in to service at Valley Isle Ford.
This dealership sold me a 2016 tacoma. I asked them if the frame was good they said yes. Then 1 month after I bought it the toyota dealership said the whole frame needs to be replaced.Basically they sold me a truck with a bad frame.
Recently in for repairs and was greeted by service writer who was cordial, astute, professional, competent re: work needed on my car. He was patient and thorough in explaining my repair process and went above & beyond when I ran into some complications. I meet with the new manager, Matt, who was also helpful, attentive, and quick to address my concerns. I can confidently and sincerely recommend them in regard to customer service AND workmanship. Thank you, Valley Isle Service staff for epic customer service and help with my car!! 5* Service in every way!!
Took my high mileage Ford p/u to Valley Isle for service. Another mechanic was unable to locate the problem. The Service Tech was very positive and the mechanics located the issue and repaired it quickly. They addressed some other issues that needed attention. The price was comparable to other shops in the area. The service was completed quickly, without any issues. I was hesitant to take my truck to Valley Isle because of the service I received about 4 years ago. They have obviously improved things, as I am very satisfied with the service I received this visit. I will definitely return to Valley Isle for any other service I need.
While I prefer to buy local the markup and selection available compared to shipping one from the mainland just doesnt compare. Nice staff though.
On August 26th during the Hurricane Lane, we managed to get one of our vans knocked out by a rock flushed into to the roadway. It punched a hole into the transmission case, bend transmission mounts and caused all sorts of other minor damage in the undercarriage.Low and behold, our Transit has been sitting at Valley Isle Ford in Kahului ever since waiting for a new transmission. Mind you, this is a gearbox that goes into over 50 models between Ford and GM. We are talking thousands of these being put into new cars every day.Yet here we are, two months later, unable to even get a delivery date. Apparently, they have to build one for this van to be repaired and transmission factory is waiting for itty bitty tiny gear wheels to put it together. How utterly ridiculous.Weve purchased four Transits Connect over past three years and there is no way in hell we will buy another Ford product. Yes Ford, our next van will be Mercedes Metris. Just atrocious service by Valley Isle Motors and Ford Motor Co.
I bought a car but lucky for me its cherry, heres how they treat you tho, They lost a customer, I will not roll the dice getting my second car through them
Well. I feel the price is a little to high( for to wait 5 hours to have your car taken care off). I do understand that I did not have an appointment, and did have car problem. Also, when I had to have a family member take me down to the car dealer, because there were no phone call to say my car is done.Ans yet when I did ask if every thing was taken care I was told yes it was. then I did fine out not all things was taken care off. Good thing that your sales person who did help me(Mr, James Weaver) took care of me.
Alex at Valley Isle Ford is super helpful wirhout being pushy
I became associated with Valley Isle Motors when I became the owner of a Surviving spouse vehicle after the death of my Ford Executive husband. Auto company spouses do not get involved with car selection or care. Then if the Spouse dies suddenly the surviving spouse may get a new car but they know NOTHING about car maintenance. Valley Isle has been my, late in life, educator regarding car use and maintenance. Older women learning to know their car can be a challenge. Valley Island has been great as I learned.
Dustin was very helpful with accommodating our needs
I took my Ford transit work van in for routine service, and was very pleased with the service I received. The staff was able to accommodate my needs to have my van back to me quickly, as my van is my primary means of functioning for my business. The staff was very kind, honest, and courteous while answering all my questions and helping me. I had a concern about the transmission of my van, and the service crew was very helpful to determine that the concern was noted, and nothing to be stressed about. Overall, I am very pleased with the service that I received, and will continue to bring in my vehicle for routine maintenance. Thank you, Ford team. Aloha.
Making the service appointment was easily done on-line. Dropped the car off at the appointed time, was told what the dealership was going to do and how long it would take. Since the service was going to take about 90 minutes I waited at the dealership. James Weaver, my service adviser cane to the waiting area to tell me the service was done within the estimated time. He went over what was done and that everything was in order. Paid for the service and the car was brought out to me. I was thrilled with everything.
Have to say it was the best car buying experience I have ever had! It was the exact opposite of my experience there last time. The salesman Brian was very knowledgeable and didnt give me the usual sales routine. He presented me numbers and when I said they were too much the new sales manager Eric said Just come in my office and lets make this work! He got me to where I was comfortable and 1 hour later I was on the road! The new staff changes made me a fan again. Im hoping they have made the service department run that smooth ! Ill know in a few months. Go see Eric the manager or Brian and just say make it easy and Im sure they will !
Had an appointment to do a 15,000 check-up. Everything was accomplished within the time promised and no surprises. I will continue to have Valley Isle Ford do all my service work
Took my vehicle in for service and was very happy with the service. The staff was very friendly and pleasant from the time I checked in the vehicle to the time I picked it up. Awsome service guys
Aloha everybody! I am a first time buyer I went to valley isle motors because I seen a vehicle online that I liked but left with an even better vehicle. Stuart was there and really helped me through the process. it was fast and easy. Randy there helped me with the financing and easy to understand. they helped me lower my payments on my truck and I was very pleased. so I recommend going down there and checking them out.
James from Service Department is the Man! Excellent customer service and professionalism. The price is a bit higher than normal mechanic shops and parts are bit more pricey as well. However, if you need the works and you dont have the time to shop around for mechanic and scheduling. Than you might as well call the Service Department and ask for James and give him a call
Enjoyable....met with service rep on time and was briefed on expectations. I waited in the comfortable customer lounge, and about 90 minutes later I was called to retrieve my truck. I received a copy of the service record and a description of the work done. Well done.Mahalo Valley Isle Ford
We have purchased many vehicles from Alex at Ford, for business and personal use. We have received top notch service each time. He is honest and knowledgeable. We will continue doing business here due to the professionalism and kindness that Alex has shown to us as customers. We will also continue to refer all of our friends and family to him. Mahalo Alex!
My boyfriend and I both had wonderful customer service experience from the valley isle motors team. Theyre very friendly and they helped me out a lot as well as didnt give me the run around. They took good care of me and you definitely feel the aloha spirit from everyone. Best customer service that Ive had from any dealership.
Service department is awesome. They finish things in a timely manner, call you to keep you informed. James has helped me a few times and I will keep going back because of awesome service!
Called Ford service for help with recall on airbags and talked to Greg W. I was setup with an appointment on the following monday and dropped of my truck. The whole experience was fast and painless. The job was done with a few hours and I was notified my truck was ready to pick up. Im very happy with the fast service and courtesy I received there Thanks Ford and Greg W.
Set up an appointment and took my car in so they could take care of a warranty issue for me with my battery. Took longer than I expected but no problem as long as they fix the issue, except when I got back to pick up my car it was sitting there and after a 1/2 hour I went to check on it and they told me itd be little while longer. So I went and checked under the hood and saw that they had already finished up. I went back in and they were like, Oh they just brought the paperwork in. I think they werent in any hurry because I didnt have to pay anything due to it being under warranty. They were cool to me I guess but seemed kind of inconvenienced to help me.Update(changing rating from 3 to 4 stars): Ive been back a few times and have had oil changes, a recall issue and other minor work done. Theyve tried there hardest to save me money when possible which helps because like most everything on Maui prices are higher than other places Ive lived with my vehicle. And James Weaver in particular takes customer service to the next level. Hes always treated me fairly and done his best to help me leave satisfied.Im leaving a 4 out of 5(and it would be 4.5 if I could) because on almost every trip the interior of my car comes back disheveled and messy(footprints on my door, dirty steering wheel, haphazardlytossing my personal items out of the way). Its not a big deal at all but I wish the mechanics would take a little bit of extra care in that area. Otherwise the work they have done for me has been outstanding.
Well, our experience started out really rough! I held off posting a review to see if we could get a satisfactory resolution. It took a bit of time, some reorganization of staff and a new service manager... end result is super satisfactory! Thank you for fixing the issues caused by your department and taking care of your customers! I can finally say your service department has great service. Keep up the great work and I’ll continue to do business with your company. Mahalo!
Terrible experience. I brought in my 2010 ford escape to trade. I was told I would get $6000 trade in value. I considered buying 2007 Escalade from them but decided on a 2014 Dodge Caravan.Well I find out a week later from the leinholderthat they only gave me $3000 trade in value. And set me up paying 20% interestBut thats not the worst part. I have had the van less than 1 month now, and its just broke down for the second time. Both times leaving me stranded on the side of the road with a newborn and a toddler. I was told their mechanic checks out the cars before they are sold but I dont believe thats the case. This has been a all around TERRIBLE experience and i will never, EVER do business there again.Update: sales manager Eric has not returned any of my calls and the ac just went out as well on my $14,000 Mechanics Special
Arrived 20 minutes early, vehicle was evaluated, Tommy discussed my concerns with the brakes and he set the Mazda 5 up for full servicing at the 30,000 mile point. Got a courtesy ride to work and picked my vehicle up at the end of the day. Oil change, brake fluid and trans-fluid change, tires rotated and car washed. Great service. Dan Regan
DO NOT BUY A CAR HERE. First of all, Erick, the GM who came from California to run things recently(BC things were bad before) does not care what so ever about you or your car situation. I had a car I bought from here and the engine blew up. I had invested a lot of money in this car and a little over a year the engine gave up. They did absolutely nothing to fix the situation and were not apologetic/empathetic at all(I till had a car loan on it). Instead they made me think they were taking care of the remaining car payment, taking the car that they had sold me in trade and giving me a good deal. Well no: TheyRolled over the car payment but took my car in as trade. I had a high fever at the time, needed a car urgently, and understood that they were taking care of the payment but they did absolutely nothing to fix the problem. Yet they made the problem bigger with their dishonest behavior. When signing paperwork they never went over the transaction thoroughly and I was foolish enough to trust they would make the wrong things right. I would not buy a car from them, or support this kinda of business in any kind of way. No aloha. Just poor management along with poor customers service equals a sinking ship.
The WORST service department on Maui!!! I bought a brand new 2017 Ford Explorer XL, mind you Ive been buying all my new cars from them along with my childrens cars! Nobody EVER calls you back, they are rude, been waiting for a call back for a part 6 months ago through Craig (6 months ago!!!!) Ive had to have a door readjusted because it didnt match up, the keyless entry code is popped out (6 months ago!!) now my AC is not working at all!! I got a LEMON people!! Im going down today to see what happens now to get the AC fixed! I will he posting a follow up after this!! This is too many problems for a brand new car!! They will never ever get my $$$ again for a new car!!!! BEWARE!!! GO ELSEWHERE FOR A NEW CAR!!!
I had really great experience with Valley Isle Motors! Jay and Tim are very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend going to see them! They gave me a much better deal than I was offered at the other dealerships on Maui. The customer service at this dealership was the best I have seen at any business on the island (car or otherwise).
One hour to pick out the car and test drive it, another hour to agree on price, trade in and terms. Brian was very helpful in syncing my phone with the car and explaining the engine and all the new buttons. The whole process took only 3 hours.I bought the smoker package for $60 but was never advised that the lighter would need to be installed by dealer at a cost of $140! Service department says theyve never installed a lighter before and dont know if the cable to attach the lighter element to is already there. Im rather disappointed that something so simple is so costly and difficult to accomplish.
Janis Malone was amazing and easy to work with
The worst service department on island! Sales is really nice but the service department won’t honor warranties that they sell you and are so rude. Everyone I’ve met who has gotten a car here said it was the worst experience ever and I feel the same. It was so bad Form Motor credit actually bought my car back because this dealership wouldn’t help they said they’ve had so many complaints about them.
This was my first time buying a car, My salesperson Rem Enomoto and Finance ManagerRandy Vida were the bomb.... I had some hurdles that they both helped me to overcome sothat I could obtain the car I wanted... They both went above and beyond to help me achievemy dream car... I would highly recommend Valley Isle Motors to anyone needing to purchase or lease a vehicle... Excellent service and caring people who will help you get what you want..Thank you to Rem and Randy... My next car purchase I will definitely be coming back to seethem...
This review is mainly for Jason. I purchased a new ford focus a couple months ago and wanted to wait until I got my plates and everything to write the review. Unfortunately, the survey sent to me has expired, so hopefully this will still get recognized.Jason is awesome. I have never liked dealing with car salesman, as they often come off as way too pushy, selfish and in a rush to get you to purchase a vehicle. Jason is very personable, calm and just an overall nice person, who cares about the wellbeing of customers. He is very knowledgeable about vehicles and detail oriented. Jason took the time to make sure I was comfortable and showed me everything I needed to know about the car, as well as what it featured. I am 7 months pregnant with my first baby and he made sure the vehicle I left with was safe and reliable. Jason was even personable enough to share some of his wisdom and advice regarding parenthood and just life in general.Although there were some apparent difficulties with the DMV getting my license plates to me in a timely matter, Jason remained sincere, apologetic and helpful. If youre looking for a car, Valley Isle Motors has plenty to choose from and I suggest you ask for Jasons help because he made my experience as smooth as possible. Thanks Jason!
Great experience buying a new car with Nestor Dollopac! Nestor was helpful, knowledgeable, friendly, and hardworking. We will absolutely return to Valley Isle Motors for our future cat purchases. Randy Vida in finance was also a pleasure to work with. I cant say enough positive things about our experience and the staff. I love my new car!!
Their service department ordered a part for a recall that is a bit difficult to get even though it was my first time ever as a customer. As a newer Maui resident I know it will be a good place to service or repair my Fusion.
Did the recall that was required, offered shuttle service while I waited
We bought our new F150 yesterday and worked with Jason!! He was amazing and made the whole process so simple and even did most of the leg work with us over the phone before we even got down there... Once we arrived he had us in and back out within a hour.... Thank you Jason and the whole Jim Falk team!!! We will definitely buy our next truck from ValleyIsle next time!
Fast and full service with the Ford quality behind it. I wouldnt hesitate taking my car here for service.
When I took my new Ford Transit Connect to Valley Isle Motors where I bought my new van, and for my first service, I felt like they went the extra mile to make sure I’m totally satisfied. What a pleasure knowing I’m being treated special. Thank you Valley Isle Motors, and keep up your fantastic work!
I just purchased a raptor from these guys it was honestly one of my best car experiences that was fast, efficient and they got me in and out with in two hours. Not usually the type of person to post about car experiences because I’ve had very few good ones nonetheless these guys were incredible job well done!
Both James and I think his name was Craig we’re super helpful. Easy and quick process. Very pleased.
Service department has improved greatly with their services
Payson and Matt Hicks did a great job helping me out with my tire problem the shop has some great technicians
Great job by James. Thanks for the professional attitude and service!
Craig in the Service Dept was awesome on a Sat service visit. Accommodating and up front. Ive had some major issues with Valley Isle Motors Service Dept in the past (multiple confrontations with service personnel - very disturbing) but Craig has put service back into the conversation - thank you!
James Weaver in the service center is awesome he goes over and Beyond for me and my family, But as for the salesman that sold me my first lemon I would never go there for a used car again........☹
Great car dealership. Great repair shop. Make an appointment so you know when to go. Live my Ford escape
Was looking around for a potential car in the next couple of months. At first wanted used due to cost; then found out that there were quite a few special deals with the new models. Kevin was an exceptional salesman and worked to get us a great deal on a 2014 Explorer. Exactly the size of vehicle we were looking for, and it is brand new.We have bought a couple new cars in the past and this was the least amount of time spent in the dealership. We test drove at 2 and were done with paperwork, keys in hand by 5:30pm. Kevin even shared his snacks with our children who were growing restless as the time continued. Will recommend that others work with Kevin if they are looking for a new/used car!
If there were such a thing as NEGATIVE 20 STARS, then Id use it. For now, Im going to settle for 1 star.I emailed about an internet special and began negotiations via email (specifically to keep it in writing). I was dealing with a salesperson named Kai. After going back and forth and coming to terms on a price, I told him, essentially to get the paperwork started and to treat this as a cash deal.Kai called me back and asked for my social and other personal data. I reminded Kai that Im paying cash, therefore him running my credit isnt necessary. He stated his Sales Manager wanted that info as they can often times give me a better deal on pricing because they get dealer incentives. I said, thanks but no thanks and to keep the deal exactly as we discussed.Kai called me back to tell me that his Sales Manager can only give me a price that was $2,200 MORE THAN WHAT I HAVE IN WRITING! I was completely dumbfounded. If he had called me over the phone and I couldnt prove it; still completely unacceptable, but I HAVE IT IN WRITING.I told Kai to tell his Sales Manager that they need to honor the price, or Im taking them to court.I called Kai a few hours later after not hearing from him. He immediately text me and said he was in a meeting with his Sales Manager and would call me right back. This was about 30 hours ago.Im still waiting for the call.Needless to say, these guys are completely dishonest and to pull a bait and switch like that is totally unprofessional. The Sales Manager could care less about integrity or standing by what his people PUT IN WRITING.I would steer clear from this place. They are NOT honest people.
Awesome team at Valley Isle FORD Service. Keep up the excellent service guys. Rob, Craig and the team there, are a very professional championship team just like the COWBOYS!👍👍
Went to VIM for a recall repair on my Ford . The service rep, Craig, assisted me and was very helpful in getting this matter taken care of without any problems.
You will not be happy when you need to deal with the service center. We have issues both here in Maui and Big Island. Once you buy a Ford and they get their money, youre treated awful. Even to get recall repairs fixed takes over six months and then they even broke my power seat and wanted $650 to fix it. I sold my dream car, a mustang due to their incompetence.Sadly to say, we will not buy a Ford again.
I had a very nice experience @ Valley Isle Motors when I took my car in to be serviced. My service rep was extremely helpful!
This is our first brand new vehicle and Manager Terri helped us picking out our mini SUV. Excellent service, very informative and new exactly what we needed and looking for. Highly recommended!!!
I have brought all my vehicles from Valley Isle motors. They always listened to my wants and needs. I would really recommend them to family and friends. They have worked with me with my payment needs. Thank you to Valley Isle Motors.
James was very helpful he told me what needed to be changed. Told me I needed tires since my tires were bad in the back also he guaranteed me that their tires was the cheapest compared to costco buttom line he took good care of my truck.thanks James.
Not helpfull with the simplest of questions very rude. I had to call back 7 times because they would hang up on me after transferring me to different departments. The person that finally desided to answer me called me bro. Very rude people I wanted to give them. Negative stars really
Paul from the auto body shop was awesome even got my Lincoln back to me a day early. Mahalo
The sales person, Sunny was just like her name, warm, friendly made me feel like I want to go back when I am ready to purchase a vehicle!
Great deals.. Brian Siedman is the best.. Eric Hofer is ok too..
It was great. They did whatever they could to help me out.
Andrew loves his new truck
Zero stars! Purchased a used 2003 jeep grand cherokee and was assured that it was a great vehicle with only 61,600 miles that had a 169 point inspection done by their certified technicians. Only to find out upon driving home that the brakes are bad (rotors warped), front shocks are dead clunking over small bumps and the (new battery not even secured down to the vehicle).Saftey hazards ignored by Ase certified technicians really?GET REAL! Then when I inquired about the issues they refuse to fix it unless I pay half the cost. And as we all know they mark up the parts cost above 100% so you would be paying the full cost anyway. I dont recommend used cars from here, they are priced way above kbb. Their kbb printout in the window is FAKE (photoshoped), search kbb for yourself first beforehand. And if you do, make sure to test drive it where you are going to drive it. Not just around the block as i did, and make sure you have the windows down so you can hear the car function. Or you will be sorry as i am now for buying from Valley Isle Motors. And everyone i meet from that day forward will hear about this. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.They put a response to this review and say to call them but then they dont return your numerous calls and messages you leave for them. Then you go there and Deborah and or Jim Falk isnt there, And they still dont call. What a unprofessional company full of lies!
The service from the mechanic end could not be any worse. They take zero pride in their work, they leave grease marks everywhere inside as well as outside the car, they rearrange the entire contents of your car and dont put it back. dont reset your clock, your car leaves worse then when you brought it in. I had a random screw sitting in my car when I asked about it they told me it was an extra one from the job and took it. Later when I drove away I felt something wrong with my tires I brought it right back and found the same type of screw in my tire. They said it had been there a long time which was not true as I immediately took it to another mechanic to verify. He stated there is no way to tell that for sure and I had no issues before I brought in my car so now Im out for the repair on the tire too. Also 2 days later my car wont start up, guess what my battery is dead..guess why because it was not reconnected completely so now I also can add on a new battery to my cost. I HAD to bring it to then to replace a recall on my airbags as apparently they are the only ones allowed to do the work on it. THIS PLACE HAS THE WORST SERVICE EVER!!
Thank you Michelle for your time helping use (MOC).
I just purchased a used car from Jim Falk and these guys are great!! Thank You for everyone bending over for us! Love our new car!!
The vehicle that I test drove and agreed upon with the dealership was sold to someone else overnight. We had to start the entire process over and that is the reason for my 3 star rating.Mahalo
The body shop they have is awful came for some rust damage to get fixed just for them to basically cover the rust up with Bondo and have it fail again 4 months later now i have interior water damage and claim to have lost the work order i was still making payments on the car how couldnt they pull that up on the computer is beyond me.. once they have the cash and the paper work is signed they really dont care for the people who drive Fords and Lincolns never buy from here again
I had the best experience making one of the biggest purchases Ive made in my life.. I was nervous and excited but Sonny Jones-Smith helped bring down my nerves with her no pressure approach. She helped me identify my top priorities and my financial range and got me into my ideal family vehicle and Im still overjoyed with the winning pick!! Thank you so much Sonny for all your time and dedication in finding my long jevity family car. I hope youll still be there when Im ready for my next purchase! #2017FordExplorer #SonnyJSmith
I recently purchased a vehicle from VIM and my sales rep was Alex, I have good knowledge about vehicles being that my parents were mechanics. I test drove the truck I was interested in and took a few months before going in to talk numbers. My sales experience was pretty mellow, Alex was very polite and patient with the process. I was in and out with my truck in a couple of hours. My suggestions for JF ask your clients if the temperature is ok while waiting. I was freezing and had to go outside and walk around. As far as the loan process it would have been nice to feel fully prepared(deal with exclusions) all in all a good experience. I would recommend interested people to take your time and if your salesperson doesnt vibe with you to simply ask to work with someone else. You are there to purchase and they are going to reciprocate if they want to sell cars. Mahalo Alex.
Thus far ok unfortunately we had to go off island to Maui to buy our car and I agreed on a price with the sales manager Jay and he turned it over to a salesman Tim and he tried his best to raise the price by 250 bucks! I must admit I was a little put off and now getting it shipped to young brothers seems to be a slow process as well. Like any normal people we are excited and anxious to receive our new car but the fervor certainly isnt shared by the dealer. Nice enough people just not into being put off and I really think the sales man should know where the car is at all times . They gave us a fair price but I feel like they think they are doing me a favor, last time I checked I thought it was us the consumer that was doing businesses a favor?
Cant stress enough how unprofessional this establishment is. Total lack of simply customer service values that should be upheld by any business. We unfortunate had to stop in because of a airbag service light that we were told could only be turned off by the dealership. My girlfriend and I decided we might as well get the oil and Engine light taken care of. Huge mistake ! This place is a total ripoff! They wanted to charge us $170 dollars to diagnose the check engine and another $170 for the airbag. When I asked why we would have to be charged for 2 diagnostics and why so much he told me its 1hr 30 min job in which I basically said bullshit. Its the same machine that gives you a code. Anyway. Told them that we were not going to pay to almost 350 dollars for a 10 minute diagnostic reading and he proceeded to get rather rude with us. We had scheduled a 10 am appointment and what we think was for spite were not even called until 1pm that our car was ready! Really 3 hrs for an oil change. All in all horrible service, horrible place to have anything done to ones vehicle. If I could I would have given zero stars. Never going back here again.
They work well with others. See Terry Martinez. He is the man.
All thought the service staff is actually nice, costs are way inflated. If you must do a dealership repair than this is your only option. but for all things else, go somewhere else and save you $$. All the sales people Ive spoken with at this dealership are snakes and I think one has memory issue (couldnt remember that I had bought another car after I told him 3 times to stop calling me). NEVER NEVER buy car from a dealership, this or any, on Maui as they add a roughly $7000 Maui Markup to the MSRP, as if living on Maui isnt already expensive enough. You can ship a car to Maui for roughly $1100 from anywhere on the mainland. Adding flying and hotel expense on top of shipping still puts you ahead about $4000-$5000 than that stupid, evil Maui Markup. Jim Faulk flies to maui in a $20million private jet that costs close to $1million annually to own/use, he some how managed to build a hanger for this jet at the Maui airport with no pushback or issues. I think he is doing more than fine and is a snake and steals from he hard working people of Maui.
James Weaver III was a very helpful, attentive and friendly service member at Valley Isle Motors, when I took my 2006 Ford Escape to be serviced 3 days ago. You are benefited by having him as one of your employees.
Very helpful staff Rem and Kalee helped me out so much... Randy made our loan process fast and painless ...Mahalo for your service
Service was timed as promised and everything was good.
Buying a car from Jason over at Valley Isle Motors was the most pleasant car buying experience I ever had and also the simplest.Thank you!
Craig is great. Bummed my 2016 Mazda needs AC help though
Liars. Your usual car dealer experience. Sad we on Maui are forced to buy a Ford in this outdated method. Great parts department. Yay Phil!
My wife and I are beyond happy with the service at this dealership. We really needed a more reliable car and the entire staff from salesmen (Jeff R., Ikaika, and Moriki) to the sales manager (Jon) to finance manager Randy Vida all went above and beyond to get us approved and into a nice car. They made a stressful process as pleasant as can be. Definitely recommend Jim Falks Valley Isle Motors to anyone looking to buy a new or used vehicle!
Recall completed in two days. VIM paid for two days car rental. My car returned clean. Satsfied with completion of recall.
Great service from James WeaverNew buildings, new look
Greg was awesome! Super cool and helpful!
Wish there was an option for negative stars. One star means they did something right!! Do your homework before buying a used car from valley isle! We didnt and payed a huge price. Purchased a green 98 Lexus GS 300 from Clark I think was his name. The car on KBB IS BARLEY worth 3k and they sold it to us for 8k. I understand you need to make a profit but straight up taking advantage of people who are already on a budget is really fu*+Ed up. Not only was the car overpriced, it started to have a major oil leak 2 weeks after we purchased it. Which costed us $1,600 dollars to fix!!! The mechanic we took it to said there had been some sort of temporary sealant put over the leak fixing it for just long enough to sell. Its like the wormwood motors from the movie Matilda. screw this place!! The parts department is the biggest joke ever. Just peak your head in there and see for yourself just how dirty an unorganized it is. No wonder it took two months to get the right part for my other car. This team at valley isle is made up of a bunch of idiots who want to take your money. Bolo is a idiot salesman also.. Spent about 5 minutes talking to him and wanted to pull my hair out. It took him 1 hour for him to fill out an application for a car. stop laughing and joking around and do your job man. Buying a car isnt a joke to a lot of people.
Awesome! Finance and lease manager was fun, helpful and supportive, Mike is awesome as well! Shoooots! Aloooooha and Mahalo!!!
On April 18th or so I took my vehicle in for warranty repair for my vehicle they recommended that the brakes had to be changed I said sure go ahead do the job. one week later no call from them I had to call and leave a message for them to call me back. When they did call me back and I asked about the progress the service writer David Kato didnt have any information for me that he couldnt find the paper work for my vehicle. So he said he has to call me back when he has more information. So I get the same story over and over then he says that they have to order the parts keep in mind this is a week after I told them to do the job. Every week I call them for three weeks and same old story. I called today 4/16/2014 the lady in service says that Dave Kato is tied up with customers so I left a message for him to call me back 4 hours later still no call so I called again the lady says the same thing hes tied up with customers I maade sure she knew who I was and I have not been called back yet. She says that I gave him the message and hell call as soon as hes free. So I wanted to talk to their manager about how very very outraged I am and that their service is way below poor and I am now going to start to call their corporate headquarters and make an even bigger complaint against them. So know you now dont go to VALLEY ISLE MOTORS. You will be sorry!
Great service and job was finished on time!
