If I could give 0 I would. Warranted a turbo that Oreilly’s sold me (they come from BBB) only to send it back 3 more times and just getting my money back. Needless to say if I knew it came from them, I wouldn’t have purchased through Oreilly in the first place!
Purchased 6mo ago, had solenoid short out, sent in for repair they sent me a completely different turbo without down pipe or gaskets. Waited total of 3 weeks for all parts to arrive only to end up sending it all back. Being replaced with New Turbo from different company, with no help from BBB Turbo. Nothing but Lies! Good Luck to next person! I will NEVER recommend to Anyone!!!
Always get what I need and quick.
I don’t leave bad reviews (I usually just don’t go back) however... only trying to warn people you will wish you had spent more money from a better supplier because you will end up spending it anyway.
First off, I received a replacement turbo at a fantastic price thanks to Misty. Called her and ordered my turbo, we are local so we picked it up.Secondly, when I contacted them, I specifically asked if the turbo came with all the required gaskets, they said it did. Turns out, I was wrong. Only gasket it came with was for the oil drain line. I really needed the downpipe gasket (which you could only obtain from the Dealer). Except when you order this turbo from other vendors they do come with all gaskets. I also needed the exhaust manifold gasket, which I was told comes with the NEW turbo...again it did not. I had to order these both from the dealer, which puts my car down another 2 days at least. Thanks again...
Worst place ever. Bought turbo in July made it till Jan 15 and shelled out broke shaft and got same excuse as previously stated in comments that it foriegn debris... no warranty. Dont waste your time with these liars.. and cheats .. just a big RIP offf...
I waited a week to get a turbo and when I finally got it and installed it the turbo was binding up so had to send it back to be inspected to decide if they would warranty it....total bs. They’ve had it a week and still don’t know if they’re going to warranty it. I will update when I know what’s going to happen.- update: they’re trying to blame problem on my mechanic because they sent it in wrong position and he had to reposition it (which is normal, that’s why they send torque specs) . I’m done with these people, if you can’t stand behind your products they’re not worth purchasing. Update #2- they’re now sending me a new turbo, today or tomorrow at no charge after much hassle... I will see how the new one works out.
VERY UNHAPPY with this place!!!!!!Ive used this place since the late 90s and had very little problems other than the occasional problem turbo. I purchased a turbo from them in December of 15 and it wasnt putting out the proper amount of boost according to my last one that I pulled off( also built by them) . It was down 10psi, after calling them and and agreeing to let them send me a new one, I asked them for the specs on the one I have and it wasnt for my horsepower rating!!!! They offered to build me a bigger one for $50 more which I agreed, until I found out that I was going to have to pay for this one and the bigger one they were going to build because there isnt a problem with this one!!! I stopped all orders and asked them to put the money back in my account that they had already taken out for the new one (which they did). The thing that makes me mad is after 15+ years of business, they just act like sorry bout your luck, Im done and will never be back!! I realize Im one man and wont even show up on their radar screen, but I will be doing my best out here to detour other people from spending their money with this company.
Sales guy told me he used to work for Garrett. After the fact when presented with compressor mappings, he told me he knew little about turbos and was just outside sales. Awesome. I told him about my engine, and I wanted to twin turbocharge it and what cam, compression etc. I had. He told me that they had 2 borgwarner units that would be perfect for me. I then had them ceramic coated at their facility. My engine is 512ci. I received 2 turbos for a 1.6l audi. My engine pulls more air at 2000 rpm than these can physically move though the housings. I called and presented my findings, compressor maps and so on. Told them that these were substantially undersized for my application and wanted a refund as these units were just inspected and then put back in the boxes. I was then told more or less to piss off as they had already been ceramic coated and therefor modified from stock. Now I cant even sell them as nobody wants to buy turbos this small with an expensive treatment on the housings. I am VERY displeased with the service here. Unless you know exactly what you are ordering before hand, be weary. I gave them 2 stars. Despite this situation, the price was great and the in house ceramic coating was very well done. If I had an engine small enough to run theses turbos, I would.
They turbo sucks. Nothing but problems whit the turbo, replaced two turbos in two weeks lost time and money and still not done whit this problems, right now sitting and waiting infreightliner so they can diagnose te problem whit the damn thing
Purchased a NEW turbo in mid April it shelled out end of July. Took it in to have warrantied and was told they would not warranty the turbo. I do not understand how you can claim you see foreign object pepper marks in a turbo that is totally destroyed after bearing failure. Will not stand behind THEIR product. This is not the first turbo we have had FAIL from Turbo Supply.
Got a turbo through these guys went bad in 1000 miles ended up giving me my money back said nothing was wrong with it but would send the turbo back that they said was good dont deal with them its a joke
