For the most part pretty unfriendly group. They had one lady there that is super nice, friendly and knowledgeable. Havent seen her in a while they must have ran her off.

For the last few weeks we’ve been shopping pools. Every time we’ve went into or called this place, employees are very short with me and always say we don’t have anything. Why in the world would you even be open if you haven’t had any equipment for over 6 months? Employees definitely need some better training when it comes to customer service. We spent our $5000 elsewhere.

Took them 20 minutes to acknowledge I was there. Then didnt have the part I needed.The customer before me was being high pressured into purchasing a $500 and told him several times that it was too much.

NOT a pleasant experience! I ordered pool sand for my pool filter. I added it to my pool filter and found out they had given me salt instead. My receipt said sand. I and a friend had already poured the salt unknowing into the filter and on the last bag figured it was salt. We had to take a cup and remove all the salt, and clean everything. So, I was thankful I didnt start up the pump and get it all in my pool. So, into a tub it went and back to the pool store it went. I gave them all the salt back and the empty bags and let them do whatever they wanted with it. They were nice and had to refund my money and apologize for it. But, it was a long drive there and back, and I said ill buy my sand from the other company. I was having company and wanted the pool up and running and this caused it not to be able to get set up in time. I now recommend the store across the street, which is Blue Water Pools.

Store that sells hot tubs...Out of hot tubs until May? Dissapointing.

Had good service when ordering and paying for a pool. But when I called for o rings 3 days in a row they said they would call back and never did. Poor service, ready to spend money but they were to busy to even bother.

I went here to look at pools the sales person was so helpful and informative. They had some great prices like a pool special for $2,100 and then told us how to save even more. Go online ASAP to doughboypools.com and print a coupon for $500 off. Again amazing staff and great quality products. Also OMG check out the spas while u there they have many styles and sizes to fit everyones needs.

Excellent aid to maintain your pool! Good people who are interested in your needs. Personalities of the sales people and their knowledge is very easy to work with and obtain their input. We really utilize them! Good place!

They were very very helpful, and had everything in the store that I needed.

I called this business twice today to get information on hours and to see if there were any Memorial Day sales. Both times the female that answered the phone was rude, short, and vague. Why did I call twice? The first time I called, she half-answered my question and hung up. The second time, she acted like she didn’t understand my question about specials and sales. Then, I thanked her for her time and one again, she hung up. I have appropriate and polite phone etiquette, so there was no reason for this type of interaction. It’s strange that a business wouldn’t take the time to professionally talk with someone who’s clearly trying to spend money at his/her establishment. We’re looking to purchase a hot tub but will now be looking elsewhere. Would love to spend money locally but we’ll have to find another option. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Drove across town after I called and was told they had a part I needed for my filter. Get there, dont have and was told to use duct tape. Drove out and went down the street to the better store. Not only did I get my part, I got a veterans discount.

Covid has certainly affected their customer service

Eh, its okay. I bought my pump and filter there. Could have gone online for the same one and saved 200 bucks but I wanted it then. The chemicals they have are expensive and dont really work. To balance your pool your looking at almost a hundred dollars in chemicals then with follow up.

This establishment is very aware that better prices are everywhere...but they do NOT care. Some examples: -Polaris skimmer 52% higher than online, -chemical 48% higher than online. these are just two examples of many. Their customer service is terrible and they do not care about loyalty whatsoever. If you have trouble with your pool...Google or YouTube it. If you need replacement parts...you will save hundreds by simply shopping around. I wouldnt even give 1 star, but you have to do that on this rubric or it wont allow you to post. Probably another way they have of getting credit for something they certainly do not do.

Owner is very rude. Had another pool place come out to look at our pool and Joplin Pool & Spa had installed our return so that it pushed water back into the pool and across the skimmer opening instead of circulating it, so we were cleaning the same 50 gallons of water over and over while the rest of the pool was stagnant. They also sold us a pump with a known defect and suggested that we simply glue the hose on permanently since it kept coming off and flooding our yard. When we had our liner replaced by our current service provider he discovered that Joplin Pool & Spa had put down a full 4 inches of sand instead of the standard 1 1/2-2 and hadnt let it settle prior to putting in our original liner and filling it with water. This caused dents in the floor of our pool as we walked across it and made our pool 4 shallower than it should have been. My current pool servicer has also had to rebuild pools originally built by Joplin Pool & Spa because the side walls were installed upside down. Dont waste your time or money with Joplin Pool & Spa.

Purchased a pool from them june 1st and was told would be installed last week of june. Middle of july they call me and said they ordered wrong liner so have to wait for it to come in. They said they couldnt get ahold of installer, he wouldnt return their calls, so finally we go with a different installer. He came august 9th and didnt finish pool until september 6th due to weather and other factors. They didnt send our pool cover and fittings to the ozonator was missing. When i called and asked if they could winterize pool for free because of all the trouble, owner said no it wasnt their problem and blamed it all on one of their employees. Hello?!!! When you own a business you take responsibility for the employees working for you! VERY bad experience!!

I asked if they did pool water deleverys and they said no although they did not do it they gave me a phone number i could call. I recomend this place👍

Over priced and they are always looking for ways to charge you for stuff you dont need. We paid them to do a fall closing and it was very expensive, only to find out they did not really do it, no winterizing they just drained the pool a little and through on our top. Left it filed with dirt and leaves. When we paid them again to do a spring opening they wanted to charge us extra $600 more, to clean the leaves out of the pool that they had left to begin with and then an acid watch too because now the leaves had stained the pool.

AVOID THIS BUSINESS!!! VERY poor customer service, price gouging, overall dishonest business dealings. Really disappointed. (family has been their customer for almost a decade. NO LONGER.)

They overcharge for things that you can get the exact same stuff for half the price elsewhere and give inaccurate information as to why theirs is higher, and they take advantage of senior citizens.
