Matthew, the owner, is great! I am not very techno savvy. My problem was a simple fix for him, but there was no shaming of me. He was patient and thorough as he made sure I understood what had happened and how to keep the problem from happening again. Buy your computer here. Fix your computer here. Ive used Technology Center at least a half-dozen times through the years . . . a few times when the name was Software Center and a few times under the newer name. Im always impressed with the great customer service and knowledge of the staff.Technology Center is a fantastic place to go for computer repair. They have a flat rate labor fee, so you know what the cost will be no matter how many hours the service takes. Of course if parts happen to be needed those will run extra, but you are notified in advance. They also service Macintosh computers, sell computers, perform onsite visits, install networks, etc.Technology Center is a great, long-time staple of the Joplin community. Shop local and be treated to personalized customer service!

Took a long time to get food and the coffee was not hot and their was only one person doing all the work in dining room 🙃

The mother board on Best Buy HP All-in-One went out for the 2nd time in 3.5 years. A family member recommended Technology Center after Geek Squad lost my PC last time, and I was very pleased! The diagnostic was free. Rather than pour more $ into the HP, Amy helped me select one of the rebuilt computers in the store for a very reasonable price and transferred all my data for another $65. But the service did not end there. Amy continued to answer questions by phone, gave me speakers and accessories to cover what was missing from my All-in-One, and tweaked the tower after discovering an error in the Microsoft account - at no charge. I could not have asked for anything more, better, and will be recommending Technology Center to any and everyone!

Very helpful. My boyfriend had hard reset my tablet/laptop and managed to delete all its drivers. The owner of this store reinstalled all the tablets drivers at no cost. He is very knowledgeable and has been doing this for awhile. I will always bring my computer stuff here

Amy was very kind and knew what she was talking about. She was very informative and told me in very good detail of what was wrong with my computer and how it possible could have happened and gave recommendations on what to do in the future. If I ever have computer problems again Im definitely coming back

My F/B account was hacked and that is why I went to ATT. The first one in Neosho where I went, just brushed me off and said there was nothing wrong with my phone. I went to the one in Joplin and although I had to wait about 30-40 minutes, the gentleman that helped me went thru my phone and corrected a couple of things plus he had me change my password. He talked with me about a few things concerning my phone and password. By the time he was finished I felt secure in that the problem was solved. My thanks to the Joplin ATT for their help and support. As far as the Neosho branch I cant give them a good rating whatsoever. The young boy was arrogant and just thought he knew everything, and not willing to help. Maybe it was because I was older generation he didnt think I knew what I was talking about. I didnt appreciate him at all.

Matthew runs a great little PC Repair shop on 7th street. My family has used his services many times; plus, we have bought a PC or two from him as well. He always takes great care of us. I highly recommend The Software Center for all of your computer needs.

Took my computer in to swap components from 1 case to another. Took 3 1/2 hours to do. Was quoted $65 but was charged $100. Cabling was a mess when received back and my RGB fans was not switched to new case and 2 fans on new case did not light up. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND OR DO BUSINESS WITH AGAIN

Good service. They have a collection of computer parts that cant be purchased anywhere else in town. Prices are a little high.

Nice people but the 50% to a 100% markup and misleading dishonest sales tactics really I will not go back . If you are not a exspert do notgo here they will always claim what they got is better and then charge you double me once you leave there done with you no more support go somewhere else thats at least honest about what you are getting

While the staff is nice, and the selection is wide, prices are an issue here. Was recently looking for a single 4gb laptop ram card, and was asked to pay $32 for it alone (I could get 2 of them easily online for that price). Tried to give them a second chance by attempting to purchase a mother board for an older pc (one which would run windows xp) but the cheapest motherboard supported a Intel core 2 duo but only DDR1 Ram and had other dated specs. Asking price? $110! For computer repair, go for it. If youre an enthusiast, avoid it.
