From the friends telling me their experiences with this place, to the phone call and appointment making with a staff member, to willing to work with me in the store. My experience was overall amazing here. As I live quite a distance away, I had to plan a day trip over. Come to find out I had the wrong amplifier for the setup I wanted. The associates were very happy to work with me and get me setup on what I needed without breaking the bank. Even the small talk conversations I had with the employees were nice and they are definitely down to earth people who just want to help you fulfill your sound system dreams. If I have any issues I will gladly call and make the trip again or even if I just want something else done. Thank you guys. Amazing customer service. Not to mention the job was clean and they set it up the same way my friend’s used to be set up which I absolutely loved. Couldn’t have done it better myself.
Been going to this place pretty regularly for about 8 years. Even with the current shortage of product, the guys have always been able to help me find what I need. They have a knowledgeable staff that is willing to guide you where you want to go without being pushy and they always do their best to make sure the work is done on time and correctly and if a problem does arise, they will work with you to figure out a solution.
They installed a system in my truck. If I wanted a rats nest, chopped wires with zip ties (NO JOKE) holding them together with electrical tape i would had done it myself. Charged me for professional services but lacked the professional part when they had a 16 year old install it. Horrible experience and very poor installation on a vehicle. Im not sure how they manage to have 4 stars. Take your stuff to M&M audio if you want it done the RIGHT way..
The staff is knowledgeable, but they offer you packages that you pay for, they dont have in stock and have to be ordered. The order date came and went with no phone call, we had to call the store only to find out the item we purchased was on a year back order. Then had to pay extra for a slight upgrade. Was unprofessional to not call the customer when they found out.

If I could put 0 stars I would. Showed up for my appointment, that I scheduled 3 weeks ago. Same guy was working behind the counter that was there the day I scheduled the appointment, and he said I never scheduled an appointment so needless to say, I will not be doing business here again.
I have shopped at this store since the 90s, generally a great experience. Some of the Joplin counter guys drag their feet and feed you a line of nonsense but I have not experienced this at any other location. Springfield fixed our issue right away!

I have had to return multiple times since install due to having parts with factory defects. Entire sound system in my car was replaced by creative and when I go back in to get something fixed I get asked multiple questions by management in attempt to void my warranty. I would recommend M&M Audio they are far more fair when it comes to pricing. They also have admitted when they installed something wrong on my other car unlike with Creative they wont admit to their mistakes which ties in with their terrible customer service.

Walked in with $2,000 to spend and got blown off because I wasnt in a high-end sports car or wearing a five piece suit they apparently judge you on the clothes you wear and the car you drive not only did they lose the chance to make 2,000 or more from me but they also permanently lost my business maybe next time you people wont be so quick to judge people..never judge a book by its cover.
Very dissatisfied with the level of customer service. I don’t have a problem with anyone making money or a profit, however they’re so wishy-washy, you get a different price depending on who you speak to. The prices shouldn’t change depending on who you talk to, especially if the items are exactly the same. I will admit they have a nice shop and nice inventory, but customer service is paramount; especially when you’re trusting someone with your personal vehicle. I will not be giving them another chance, and will take my business and money elsewhere. There is a common issue with these reviews relating to customer service, and I wish I would have heeded the warnings. Don’t make the same mistake I did.
It was okay but I think the the customer service could have been better and they could have gave me prices instead of estimating youre guesstimating I mean any company thats been in business for a while should know you know like how long or whatever its going to take to do a makeover a stock radio or an after-market radio

A few years ago I purchased a head unit that did not provide xm radio. I didnt use xm back then. So recently I went back to purchase that capability. The young man who helped was very nice, even going out to check my current radio to see if I was correct and that it wasnt available. I bought a new unit that did everything I needed. When preparing to install it the tech doing so called to see if my current system worked fine. It did. So he said I can give you xm with just a minor addition to your current unit. Even used the factory antenna. Saved me, in fact refunded me, about 650 dollars. I am impressed that he did this for me since I would have never known the difference. I obviously recommend this place as Ive made multiple purchased there of auto starters, radios, speakers, and have always been very satisfied.

Bought a refurbished JVC head unit from Creative Car Audio. They have great selection and excellent customer service. I would highly recommend them for all your car audio needs.
These guys are great! Especially Matt, who helped me every time I went there. I have a 20 year old car, and it may have cost a few hundred, but they gave me a modern receiver that can do apple car play, blue tooth, on-screen maps and apps, and a back-up camera (yes in my old beater car!). They also upgraded my speakers and tinted the windows. I love my car now!!! Matt is very knowledgeable and he took the time to explain everything and all the options. If you need something like this, this is the place to go!!!!
I do driveaway and needed trailer wire I purchased ran from the front to the back of my pickup. They did a great job and ended up charging half what the quoted me. Thats very rarely done.
Theyre not very strong in their customer Communications lets just put it that way but the equipment freaking awesome

This place has been in Joplin as long as I can remember they do excellent work its not the cheapest place but you get what you pay for their text or knowledgeable courteous prompt all in all a very good little store right on Route 66 here in Joplin Missouri
Took 3 different vehicles here and have been disappointed every time. The latest and last time I will ever have them do something was when I took my truck in for installing a sound system. The install was poorly done and rushed, wire hanging from the below the vehicle, and the amp hanging down swinging by a wire. Had to take it back in because the system didnt work properly at all and also messed up more than just the sound because they wired it all wrong. Asked for certain subs to be put in and they put in different ones. Asked for them to tint my windows and they never got around to it. The other times I had the same issues with having to revisit them because it wasnt done right and also messing up other things that had nothing to do with what they were installing. I paid high dollar for the equipment and install and it looks like I could of done a lot better myself.
One good thing. They sell top quality. Everything else was a bust. Clerk had zero knowledge of products. Told me they dont make auto start and keyless entry sensor type alarms. The installer called back and left a message stating the truth that they could. All I wanted in my H2. After a rather heated discussion with the clerk who swore they couldnt I decided not to keep my install appointment. Had a feeling I wouldnt get what I wanted as the clerk was very very obstinate. If your wanting a basic auto start or alarm my daughter says they did good with that. One bad employee and its the one I seen and spoke with first. First impressions are important.
They wont stand by their lifetime warranty for window tint because they no longer use the tint they put on my car originally which is now lifting but will re tint for half price at $200 plus another $100 to remove the old tint. Would not recommend them for any window tinting
I give them 2 stars only because the installs, tint and equipment bought has not given me problems.Now about their service: I don’t complain much but I can’t not say something because I’m always interested in improvements. I have taken my new cars in (3) for the past 5 yrs. they have tinted each one and switched sub and amp from one to the other from old to the new each time. It has never been a smooth situation and always a major headache! They get me in and don’t do what we ask them to do (putting amp and base knob in the location we want). We have never gone in without an issue. This last time is the last time I deal with issues from them because I won’t ever go back. I have given them 3 install jobs, 3 tint jobs and keyless entry install with issues on each. Customer service really fails because the customer is wrong each time. The last install they put the amp on the back of our fold down seat and never once called to see where we wanted it put. I’m only mad because they don’t communicate at all!! Sorry.....no more service problems as I won’t be there again.

This store is full of crooks. Paid $600 for a sound system, just to have them not set it up properly- they blew within 2 months of barely any use.Naturally, I took it back because it was under warranty and they said “nope, sorry. Can’t replace it.”Bs business.
Good guys and they know their car audio. They are fun to joke around with. They are a young and energetic team that complement one another very well. Front office and install team all communicate very well with the customer. They hooked up a pair of JL subs and and amp. Install time was spot on. The speaker wires to the B side got disconnected and they fixed it no problem. This place is always super busy and for a smaller city like Joplin that says a lot.
I had a simple JVC installed in my 2003 Nissan Pathfinder their 10-year installer installed it improperly it had no volume I went to another stereo shop they checked the wiring and rewired it for $20 I now have volume in my opinion their 10-year guy needs to go back to school

Had a new deck, back up camera and sub put in my car. System setup is great, sounds good. I had an issue witglh the deck amd they got me in the next day to make things right. Cant say that about many businesses.
Theyve broke the trim in my truck when installing stuff, as well as broke screws off in the floor board. Great place to buy from, but Id recommend going to the Joplin store to have stuff installed.
Got remote start as a Christmas gift or probably wouldnt have went here. It works for the most part. Gonna have to take it back and have some settings changed still. Nothing major but definitely annoying.Installation time wasnt s big deal. Install itself was not good. Got stuff taped to the windshield and wires just strung down the window. Not impressed.

First, rudeness. Called me to tell me that my car is done, he didnt say hi or hello! He said Im calling you to tell you that your car is ready. Then, hung up on me without saying anything!Second, i import my beer from over seas, I left my beer in the car before i dropped my car. When i picked my car up, i found half of my beer gone! That is a real upsetting.They did a great job and it seems fine but the quality is something Id leave it for later on after summer or so.

I had a stereo put in an older car not long ago. They were super friendly, scheduled to have it installed and very helpful showing me how to use all the fancy, bluetooth and call features.

Went in there today to see if they could look at my factory subwoofer that stopped working. The two boys at the counter immediately decided Its blown. No offer to look at it. Not even a brainstorm on things I could check. I walked in a paying customer for them to diagnose a problem. Glad I didnt have to pay for their assumption. I wasnt in the store more than 30 seconds and walked out disgusted. No customer service to be had in there.

Have literally spent thousands here over the years, but just had the rudest experience from the staff here. Went to the Springfield location, they are friendly, helped me find what I needed, and made the sell that I would have made in the Joplin store if they werent so rude.

OKAY job on tinting. Price was high. HORRIBLE customer service. Never stated the windows had to remain rolled up for three days. Had to transport my one year old home in a HOT CAR after reinstalling her carseat because without asking or telling, they just removed it. Equipment left in car. Blonde guy at front less than remorseful. Never going back. Ridiculous.
I had a in-window antenna installed on 4/12/2013 at the Pittsburg store. Dave was very professional and polite. I informed him that my car alarm would auto arm and that I wanted that feature disabled. He agreed to take a look at it. Zach did the install. Everything looks good and sounds even better. He was also able to reprogram the alarm all within the hour quoted and at no additional charge. They both did a very good job. Thank you.

Told me my car will be done in 3 hrs, but then didn’t receive a call that it is finished...passed the store (after closing hours) on my way to work and the car is still outside the parking lot. They should’ve left it in their garage but it was right where i left it. I just hope nothing happens to the car..worst car audio store ever

I took them my 600$ head unit to install. They messed it up and wouldnt make it right. Also I had lights popping up on my truck after that...that shouldve been on. Warning lights. They wouldnt fix that either

Super happy with the install of my audio system. Also the tinted windows. Small issues with the tint which is going to be fixed so all is well. The car Zach Medlock did the work on is a 2016 SS Camaro Convertible. Jl audio system including custom sub box. It sounds amazing and clarity is exactly the hopes I had.
Have been in a few times for different things. The first time I was stared at majority of the time for wearing a heavy jacket (it is winter after all), probably because of my race. Most recently and my last time was to have my speakers looked at. Was told they were wired completely wrong and that the amp was too small (funny considering Ive used them for months on end with no issues, one sub was just recently acting strange). Every time Ive been in they dont seem interested in helping you until youre about to spend money, or they just try to get you to spend as much money as they can get you to. Its rude and I will not be returning.

I buy a 12 inch speaker and amp along with installation and payed cash up front, I like what I bought, but 2 days later everything quit working radio screen player and all. The guy gave me an appointment for a week and a half later to see if he can fix it . Cant listen to what I payed for .
