The Golden Grotto is a long time fixture in Jonesboro. They are about 50% party supply and about 50% costume. I know we live in a day where people like to order online, but here, you can actually see and touch what you are buying. I recommend giving them a try. You might find exactly what you are looking for.

Pricey but great

Love shopping here for special event items as well as costumes when needed. They also have a good selection of theatrical makeup and stage actor supplies. They literally have something for every age level and a fantastic staff that are both friendly and knowledgeable.

Stole something from here when i was a kid. Back in the 80s. They let me get by with just doing some clean up. Back to the review, they have sweet collection of name brand theatrical make up. All your latex needs. Plenty of gag gifts and party supplies. A little on the spendy side, but awesome place nonetheless. Shop local people!

I have always loved this shop. It was my favorite place to go when I was a kid. Its my first stop when I need party supplies or Halloween costumes. They have some really great stuff that you cant find anywhere else in town. However, about half the staff is friendly and helpful while the other half is completely aloof. I have gotten the feeling that Im inconveniencing them simply by being in the store. Their prices are on the high side. I will gladly pay more to support a locally owed shop, especially since I have so many fond memories there, but I dont want to shop there if none of the employees even acknowledge my existence.

ERICA OR ERIKA is the RUDEST employee ive EVER MET OR SEEN. I went into Golden Grotto & was looking at a costume behind the counter & she screamed dont come behind the counter. which i didnt nor planned on it. THEN, standing on the side of the counter by the fitting room she came & screamed DONT GET BEHIND THE F**KING COUNTER.
