Toyota told me they would fix the problem with my tires making noises. But the failed an only replaced 2 of the worst tires an leaving me with this one. Fernando the sales manager told me he would take care of the other 2 tires. But he can not keep his word. The service crew when they did replace my 2 tires. They put them both on driver side. They held off an pushed me away as much as they could. It’s all started when I test drove the car…. With looking at reviews It looks like a lot of people have been blown off with the troubles that they have with this company.

We were able to thoroughly check out each prospective vehicle and take our time in making our decision. The paperwork process was quick and painless. Ill admit that we did not leave with the vehicle we initially wanted, but that turned out to be the very best thing to happen to us. After looking at a couple of options we first settled on a Chevy Equinox. After test driving it, I made a point to look under the hood. Keep in mind, I am not a mechanic. But when I spotted what looked like an unusual amount of oil beneath the engine, I drew it to the attention of our salesman Michael. He immediately stopped the sale and had it looked at by their service department. A day or two later, he contacted us with an excellent deal for a new 2020 Camry. Granted, our preference was an SUV, but we couldnt pass up such a great deal on a car that we knew would most likely last us for a solid 200,000 miles or more with little maintenance. I dont know what became of the Equinox except that it was pulled from their website. I am grateful to Michael for taking the time to work with our particular credit situation (we were upside down on our trade) and for making sure we had something dependable. Anyone else might have rushed us through the sale and put us off later once we discovered problems. But Michael took his time and showed great integrity. Subsequently, I sent my sister-in-law to him who also had a good experience with her purchase of a Rav4. I plan on returning in a couple of months to trade in my other car for a Tacoma.
Do not go to this dealership. They are only wanting the vehicle gone like when I went to buy a car from them. Alot of unprofessionalism and they will keep you distracted from the paper work. Wish someone would of gave me a heads up about this place. Need a new manager. He is just there to take up for the employees even if they are wrong for what they did. Wish I can take this car back to them. DONT GO THERE!!!!

Everyday I message, and everyday I get back I promise I’ll get back to you this evening we have been so busy. Don’t waste your time. They are too busy to actually get back with you.

Absolutely, the worst experience ever! You can never get anyone to answer the phone and when they do, youre on hold forever then hung up on. Ive taken a brand new car (purchased from them) to them THREE times because the spoiler was double-sided taped to the bumper & coming off. Who tapes spoilers to bumpers? 🤔 My car was picked up and Im still waiting for it to be returned after I was told it would be delivered back to me yesterday. I call again today & get put on hold for ten minutes then hung up on. I do NOT recommend purchasing anything from them!
If it could be less than 1 star I would do that. I waited 5hrs to get 2 tires. Then I was over charged by almost $200.00. While waiting never had an update on auto. I went back three times to check on it. They knew I was needing to leave.Then I was told there was no warranty on the tires because they purchased them from Gateway. They mailed the refund they over charged me, 3 weeks later.I would not recommend them for anything. They have No Customer Service and the person in service department doesnt know what they are doing. Go somewhere else!

The team at Central Toyota always does a great job making me feel welcome, and taking care of anything my car may need, even going as far as calling around for a tire because no one had one in stock (very small car, it would have taken a week or more for Sams, walmart, smiths, and gateway to get one in) and having it brought over and put on the next day. Ive seen them go above and beyond for their customers, I think people forget that sales people are human, and mistakes, misunderstandings, miscommunication, etc are bound to happen on occasion, but here, theyve always worked tirelessly to right any wrong theyve encountered. Its a shame some people are unable, or unwilling, to give any form of understanding, going as far as to make false accounts to spam a local business in an effort for what? Pettiness? Revenge? Over a misunderstanding. It is very disappointing.But again, the Team has always been fantastic to me and my friends Ive sent there.All the love.

Made a deal to purchase a car. Pretty straight forward. Sales woman was very kind and helpful. We were happy with the deal an expected a smooth transaction. I have a background in car sales and left that out of the process until it was needed.The dealership is well kept, the other staff we interacted with were friendly. There POS system is impressive. Well that is here the problems began.The APR was nearly a point higher than we agreed. It was clearly discussed the day before.Enters the sales manager. Instead of fixing the situation and making his call, he scopes a younger couple and decides to use a scare tactic to seal the deal. Tries to shame my wife on how another bank didnt even take the loan and he is doing us a huge favor.We leave. Not 5 minutes pass when we get a call.Good news we got the rate down down nearly a point and a half.Now wouldnt that have been the move while we were sitting in the office?At this point i am irritated, wasted close to 2 hours. No way i am going back unless he does something to save the deal. He reminds me that he is offering us a deal of a lifetime, no way will we ever find another.This is where it got fun. He asked me who is buying the car?Wrong question homeboy. At this point i revealed I was once in the same position his boss, and if anyone ever handled one of my closes the way he did.....That was the point where he hung up on me. I was not being foul or yelling. Stern yes, but for a man to hang up on another man that is just very bad business.I feel terrible for the saleswoman as she was robbed of a sale by the greed of a saturday shift sales manager.So as far as not finding a better deal, i appreciate the challenge issued to me by the sales manager. I found the SAME EXACT CAR for $1200 LESS than we agreed to by simply expanding my search to include a dealership in Southern Missouri (Hint hint).This was avoidable in all aspects. We were happy with the deal and would never have thought twice about it again.

Their service department is grade A. Josh is super friendly and very professional. When I first bought my truck I had an issue with the rear third brake light leaking and, although it was out of warranty because the truck was used, these guys fixed it for free. They even pulled the carpet back and checked for water damage and mold.I recently brought it back for a rotation, balance, and oil change and my experience was the same. My experience with Central Toyota was the absolute worst. We purchased a new to us Nissan Rogue on November 18th. Ojay was our salesman and made many promises. We were told the car had new tires when I asked about it and it didn’t. They weren’t old but also not new.Once we drove off the lot, the car started shaking and vibrating real bad. I immediately called Ojay and he stated he would call me back with a plan to get it serviced at Nissan. All of this happened on Wednesday the 18th. I didn’t hear from Ojay all day Thursday and called the dealership and he was off that day. That’s fine, I can understand that. Friday came and nothing. He wouldn’t return my calls and had no voicemail set up on his phone. I attempted to reach him by calling from a phone number he didn’t know and what do you know? He answered! Said he still needed to talk to the manager. I let him know that since I had not heard from him that I called and made a service appointment with Nissan. He said that was fine and he would get it all taken care of. I asked Ojay if I needed any type of paperwork for the service since I had just got the car and the problems started the day of the sale and he said no he would handle everything. I arrived to Nissan for my appointment and explained the issue and they stated there was paperwork they would need from Toyota and sent me back over there. The Toyota service department said they would do a tire align and balance and hopefully that would fix the problem. Ojay arranged for a car for me to use in town while they made the repairs and I appreciated that... the car didn’t have any gas in it though lol. They finished my car and when I left, the car seemed to be worse and not better. I left a message for Ojay that it was still vibrating. I was finally able to reach Ojay the following day and he said he needed to talk to the manager and service manager to see what the next step would be. Days went by and I heard nothing from Ojay. I called the dealership and asked for the manager since Ojay wasn’t calling me back and instead of the manager they put Ojay on the line. He gave me the same spill about needing to talk to the managers, this was about a week later. I then called the Central Nissan dealership and spoke with their service manager, Tom. He immediately scheduled for me to come in the following morning for him to ride in the car and diagnose the problem. Within 30 minutes of driving the car, Tom knew the problem was something loose in a back tire. Once he removed the tire, he found something had completely come off and just needed new tires. He attempted to contact central Toyota to get the paperwork showing they were paying and they wouldn’t answer or return his calls. He had to physically drive over there and sit in their face to get a signed paper stating they would pay for the cost of repairs. Car drives great now and with that I am very pleased. During all of this, Ojay never called me back or returned a single call.On that same day I picked up all my signed paperwork from the Toyota dealership. I went to the revenue office yesterday to get my tags and they told me I owed the sales tax from the purchase and I was floored. When making the purchase deal, Ojay specifically asked if we wanted the sales tax financed and we said yes, absolutely. Little did we know, it wasn’t. Central Toyota is stating that since all paperwork is finalized they can’t make any adjustments. My caution to anyone buying a car from Central Toyota is this: 1. Don’t use Ojay Cullins as your salesman, 2. Make sure you’re a lawyer so you can understand what is ACTUALLY in your contract in case it’s different than what you were TOLD. And 3. DON’T USE CENTRAL TOYOTA. That is all, by the way, I absolutely love my NISSAN Rogue!

However, we have done most of the maintenance there and I have had several issues with the service departments workmanship, and the last time wasnt treated very well by the service manager. This makes me question buying our next car from them due to these issues since we are looking at a new Rav4.

Although they didn’t have the Highlander on the lot that we wanted our salesman, Stephen Rodden, went out of his way to find us one equipped exactly the way we wanted. I would NOT recommend anyone to go to this place. I filled out an app online and they ran my credit and dropped my score alot and I called to find out if I was approved or not and they said they would call me back and never did and I called for 4 days in a roll to find out and was told by 4 different people they would call me right back and never did. It is going on the 5th day and still no call or answer on my app.

Worked here from early 2014 to the middle of 2015. If youre considering a job opportunity at this company, take it! The people are great and very understanding. My in-laws purchased their second vehicle through central Toyota in May of 2019. A bed cover was purchased along with their Tundra and at that point all was well. It was mentioned it would only be a week that an appointment would be scheduled for the cover to get installed on the truck however it has yet to be installed. The salesman who sold them the truck has since been fired for unknown reasons. Several calls and messages have been made to the dealership for an appointment but nothing has been done to get the cover installed. It should be noted that my in-laws have broken English (they’re Cambodian) and feel they have been discriminated against. My wife has called several times, my sister in-law has call several times and still no one has bothered to call back. The last time my wife called, she was told, “didn’t you just call 72 seconds ago, you’ll have to call back when the manager is here.” Again, no one has called back. This is beyond frustrating and insulting. This is definitely the last time my in-laws will shop from Central Toyota

Worst place I’ve ever dealt with.... wanted to test drive a vehicle that was just for sale online so I made an appointment online and they confirmed it! When I went to go look at the car/test drive the car wasn’t there and the salesman proceeded to tell me that their boss had been driving it.. and that it would be available for me to look at and see on Monday so I said okay I’ll see you then... come back that Monday and the car is still not available for me to look at bc he had already left in the vehicle... very disappointed that the owner of the place can be so rude

Central Toyota is awesome. Our sales guy was Will Tate!!! Hes not pushy, hes honest and straight forward. He has a great personality and made buying my tundra an extremely easy and fun experience. If Will didnt know an answer to our questions (which was maybe 1 or 2) he went and found someone who did. James Calloway did the paperwork with us. Hes awesome as well... very patient with us answered all of our questions. All of the sales guys were so nice and accomodating.THANK YOU CENTRAL TOYOTA!!!! We purchased a certified pre-owned 2014 Platinum Tundra 4x4 this month. Received nothing but first class service from Tyler beginning with the online quote request. Received a response via email within 30 min and was followed up with a phone call. Made the trip from Memphis the same day to see the truck. Settled on a very convincing sales price after the test drive, no hassle, just hit me with a very competitive price right away. There were a few items that I wanted addressed and he brought Max, the service General Foreman, out to consult and I felt very comfortable that Max knew his stuff. I ordered some upgrade accessories (rims, A/T tires, bed cover and level kit) that was installed at the Service dept. Looks great and they made great recommendations during the work to ensure everything fit without any modifications. I could go on but bottom line Central Toyota (Tyler, Max, Justin and Holly) was determined to provide great service and produce me an excellent vehicle when they were finished with it. They will definitely get a shot at selling me more vehicles in the coming years

Thought this was a great place till I get an email for an oil change and tire rotation for 40 bucks and they wont honor it because I have synthetic oil, instead they want to charge me 70 DOLLARS. Well in my opinion their add should mention that the price shown is conventional oil only. Glad I drove all the way up there just to take it back home and do it my self!!!SO MUCH FOR THE CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT, OR AT LEAST WORKING TO COME TO AN AGREEMENT.

I would NEVER recommend anyone buying a vehicle from here. They told me I would receive the title in the mail with 2-3 business days... WRONG! It took them 2 months!! Therefore, I was penalized 15% on my tag price. This was already a $1,400 tag because it was bought in a different state. I asked the dealership to at least pay for the penalty fee caused by them taking FOREVER with the title, and they refused. I like the vehicle I went for, but the sales man did not agree to put tires (the tires were so bald) and I drove 2 hours to get it. The people never offered to meet or anything. Very rude staff and I wish I wouldve bought from someone else.

Let me make this short my friend and I went to Baldwin toyato in Popular Bluff bought two vehicles from them. My husband and I bought our last to vehicles there from all the bad Im hearing about their service dept and the way I was treated not again.

My check engine light came on. I took my car in to see what the problem was, and they said they could look at it, and asked me to wait. After they were done, they told me I owed them 62.66. I asked why, and they said, that was the minimum fee. No one warned me that I would be charged. When I explained this, they implied that I was careless and didnt pay enough attention.
Things have changed there since last bought a car. They need to be sure they inform people when they buy a vehicle,the paperwork will be PICKED UP AT THE DEALERSHIP, mine has been sitting there since May 25. They said they contacted me twice. They didn’t.
The staff really takes care of before and after the sale. Service department is top notch and I will always do business with them.
Worst service I have ever had. If I could give less than one star I would. Took my truck in for service for a new battery and typical service and told them to check everything. Got my truck back and a brand new battery went dead not 3 days later. Come to find out I had a bad alternator because Toyota didnt check it. Half service for a full price. Called the manager and made nothing but excuses. Thanks Toyota for a poor experience and even worse service!

After Tylor moved, the new man seems doesnott want to sell. We bought 4 new vehicles in the past 2 years from them (toyota and chevy) but i dont feel appreciated. Couple times when i go there with some deals that other dealer offered but they will not come down to evev close price. The internet manager even said if i dont like their price i can go some wherelse. Not sure if they dont want lower price or just does not like an immigrator like me.
