I was unacceptably disregarded about my car troubles I was having after meineke serviced my car. When I called to explain/discuss my concerns I might have well just been dismissed. I introduced myself and the so called “management” disrespectfully did not address my concerns - to say the very least. I would NEVER recommend this location to ANYONE who likes to be treated respectfully as a paying customer. Never again. Should be reported to BBB.

Well I wouldnt have my brakes done there but the staff are exceptional. I believe they are really good. Good work & pretty fast.

Meineke has far prices and will give and will give you more prices and just brand new theyll give the price of a refurbished part if theyre that part can be refurbished and their were personable and friendly

Terrible experience. I called and asked if they could get me an oil change and just do preventative maintenance on my car. Sure no problem. A few days later my check engine light comes on and now I need more repairs. Like what? Cost wasn’t bad, but I think it’s a little suspicious that I go here and not even a week later something is wrong with my car??

I took my Audi here for an oil change, after I got home, my wife took the car out to pick up our daughter, my wife immediately came home and return the car and said she heard a certain noise which at that point didn’t make any sense to me, I later drove the car that same evening and heard that something was dragging so pulled over to check what was going on and noticed the under cover was dragging on the floor. Which was not like that when I took the car in. I quickly ripped the part off because it was no longer usable, The next day I came out to use the car and noticed that there was a puddle of oil in my driveway. Horrible service.

I was told 20 minutes. Sat there for 3 HOURS!!!! I got shrugged off when I I asked when my car would be done. I also was quite unhappy with the price. They made it sound like a cheap easy fix. oh no problem, no problem. Its simple. Ill have it done right away. Then Im told its $400 freaking dollars. So now I have waited 3 house spent $400 and the guys thinks its funny to tell me I owe $500 as a joke. Im not laughing. I ask for a discount due to the ridiculous amount of time I waited. He says ok ok I give you neighbor discount. Then he charged me full price anyway.

I asked for the techs to do an a/c check and if it ONLY needs recharged to do so...... they just recharged it. NOW not even 24 hours later im still without a/c. ..... and out of $90

I would only go to this spot for oil changes, the prices are steep for me. Now they’ve changed the price for an oil change as well. At this point I think they’re just trying to stay afloat honestly. Finding a good mechanic is similar to finding a good barber. Once you find them, that’s where you’ll be going from here on out. Everyone just wants honest work for an understandable price that’s all.

Time is not important to anyone here or working quick. Oil change and tire rotation took 2 hours very disappointed

I would avoid at all cost, try some other place!i scheduled an appointment online the day before, showed up 45mins early, and waited patiently for all four brake rotors n pads to be replaced on my vehicle. midway through the service i get told their computer won’t unlock my back brakes and therefore they can’t service the back two brakes. they recommended i go to a dealership for the back brakes. they also improperly put back the front driver side brake that they serviced; i wasn’t having any noise while in motion before service, but after my service was done here at Meineke - 266 i had a high pitch squeal coming from front drive side wheel while in motion. to wrap this up i take it to another mechanic two days later, he says he doesn’t know what they were talkin about unable to unlock back brakes (saved me a longer trip to a dealership) and the front drive side squealing is these pins that lock the brake in place being pushed too far in and rubbing on the rotor.

Everything was done in a timely manner excellent service and very friendly

Randi and Kevin are amazing! My Nissan had loud exhaust noise after I did an oil change, I called and Randi said to bring it right over and they would take a look. Within 5 minutes Kevin got my Nissan on the lift and showed me the problem. These guys are super professional, honest business is their number one priority for their customers. Kevin offered to help out with the engine mounts I had parts for. Ive already made an appointment to have the other two engine mounts installed. Extremely happy new customer! Everything went as expected. I dropped my car off and told them what I thought was the problem and to fix anything else they thought might be wrong or soon to go bad with the exhaust. Turns out what I thought was wrong was not a problem, and it was much cheaper to repair what was actually wrong. They had an ample opportunity to up-sell me on service I didnt need, and did not. They called me in about and hour and I went and picked up the car, smooth process and exactly how you would expect a car repair to be handled.

Great service! Its always taken over an hour to get an oil change at other places and I was expecting the same, but they took my vehicle even earlier than my exact appointment time and were done in a flash! The guys were very nice and personable as well. I would definitely recommend!

DO NOT COME HERE! I CAME HERE WITH A LEAKING RADIATOR AND WAS LEFT IN THE PARKING LOT WITH A TOTALED NISSAN MAXIMA. My radiator was leaking so I came in for an inspection and a oil change. They over charged me $760 when I had a similar problem before and only paid $60. As soon as I said the price was ridiculous the manager said disrespectfuly “ go some where else then” and suddenly my battery didn’t work and they removed the fuse for my battery and the care didn’t work at all. THEY ROLLED MY CAR OUT AND CLOSED SHOP AT 3 when there open till 6. I called the police and also corporate. They didn’t even have the decency to close my windows so I have to wait with my car because Joliet is ghetto. PLUS THE FLICKED THE MIDDLE FINGER AT ME

I clearly told the tec check for AC leak. Tec came back. AC is not leaking and he recharge AC . two days later no cool air. Took it back and was told there was a leak and the tec could not fix it..

I was told it would be a several hour wait for my alignment. When I came back, I was told it cant be done because I had other issues in the way. They still wanted to charge me just to look at it. I refused and left. Not terribly impressed.

My experience was horrible!!I had my car towed in there 3 different times in a matter of a few weeks for the serpentine belt falling off. They were unable to diagnose the problem coming up with different things wrong with it every single time and charging me several hundred. Then on the 4th time the belt fell off I took it elsewhere and they fix it the first time!Ill never go back again Meineke in Joliet!

Dont let the run down exterior fool you. I needed some work done on my exhaust pipe and brought it into the shop and within an hour the problem was fixed for a very reasonable price. Another shop said that I may need a whole new exhaust system but the owner here said that only one portion needed to be replaced. Great quality work. Will be coming back.

I scheduled for an oil change and was met with courtesy and the service was quick. Great place to go and have friendly service.

I was charged for 3 1/2 hours of labor when it only took 2. Disgusted with manager he said that was book price. I feel I was ripped off.

We have been using Marks for servicing our cars for a few years. On short notice we took 2 cars into Marks for service. As usual, the work was completed, and we were able to pick up both cars in a short period of time. The cost of service was very reasonable too.

They won,t give you a price in writing, so when you come back to pick up your car they jack up the price. The police say there is nothing I can do because nothing is in writing. Avoid this shop like the plague.

I just love this place there nothing like this one place I would highly recommend coming here.

TERRIBLE SHOP. Took my vehicle here for an oil change, asking specifically if they had the correct oil filter which some places had to get from the dealer. They claimed they had the correct one. Several days later the oil dumped out of my car. After getting my car towed to the dealership, it turns out that the oil dumped out of my car because of Meineke installing the incorrect oil filter. After arguing with them for several days I caved to accepting a refund for the work had to do to fix Meinekes ignorance, but not the initial oil change which was done incorrectly, stating it wasnt even worth going after the rest at this point. The OWNER then proceeded to RIP UP the check he offered me. DISHONEST SHOP WITH NO ACCOUNTABILITY FOR THEIR WORK.
