Far and away the best car buying experience Ive ever had and it is not even close. Gave me a great price on trade and also a great price/deal on a brand new CRV. The buying process was unimaginably simple, with everything done from my own home as they are 2 hours away and delivered my brand new car to me. Honest and reputable !! I generally dislike the car buying experience, but Thomas Team Honda and the Thomas automotive group have been fantastic to deal with. We purchased a used vehicle from Team Honda in Johnstown. Rich Berkey was great to deal with. He made the process quick and easy. But, there was a unseen problem with the vehicle bodywork that I discovered a couple of days later. Here is where the Thomas automotive group really stood out. Rich talked with management and they fixed the problem 110%. Michelle in the Cumberland location took care of the details and the Thomas body shop did a great job on the repair, and it was not an easy fix. Great team effort from everyone, and they stood behind the sale of the vehicle and made it right. Big Thank You to all at Thomas automotive !

Good luck contacting service dept. I have called multiple times, no one picks up. I even called the parts dept so he can yell down the hall for service to pick up their phone. They may pick up, may not. I left voicemails and never a returned call.

Their service department thoroughly checked over my car because I thought I smelled gas. They also did my inspection while there. They are friendly and keep you informed.

One of the best buying experiences ever. Their sales employees give you your space, dont pressure you into anything, clearly explain all features, options, warranties, financing options, etc. They make you walk away without feeling like youve made a bad decision.

My niece seen a add on carmax for a vehicle that she liked. It was low mileage and a good price. I drove her to Thomas. They first said that they didnt have the vehicle. I told them that I seen it in their use car lot area. Then they said there was a recall on this vehicle. Then they said that the price listed was incorrect. So now they are attacking carmax credibility on reporting accurate pricing on advertised vehicles. They did what dealerships in California, New Jersey and New York and other curb side dealerships have been known for, the baite and switch act. Advertised something that you claim to have just to get someone in and than you switch the the vehicle and price. Very shady business practices. I put up a review about this 2weeks ago but someone must of removed it.

Really happy with our salesman, Eric, and the service we received here. We love the used car we bought, and they gave us a great trade-in value. The only reason I didnt give them five stars is because they owed us a check back for our trade in, and we had to make multiple trips back to the dealership to pick it up as they never had it ready. My husband had to go over his lunch break and finally waited there while they cut the check. Otherwise, everything else went extremely smooth. Would buy from here again!!

I was there to buy a Honda Pilot which is what I got and I couldnt be happier. This place is absolutely great if youre buying a car in Johnstown. I actually came from Pittsburgh just to check out this dealership. Everyone there is wonderful! From the sales team helping you choose the best car, the women who do the paperwork, and the service guys who get the car ready for you. I dont have any complaints! They even call after you buy the car just to make sure everything is good. The service department gives you 3 free oil changes and also state inspections for life. One of the best if not the best experiences Ive had buying a car. Eric was polite, efficient, very knowledgeable about the car and whatsmore, was not the least bit overbearing. I cant stand trying to make a deal on a car when someone is patronizing, arrogant, or just rude. Thats not how people want to be treated when budgeting a car. Both parties have to be satisfied, and more times than not, one party is frustrated by the terms. Eric made sure he didnt force his position, and I am aware they are not going to make a living just swapping vehicles back and forth. Ken Salem permits his salespeople to sell. Of course they dont have the final say in a deal, but let me say this, they dont make a person feel like they need a shower after theyve negotiated said deal. Thank you all in the process, it was beneficial to us both and certainly not the least bit stressful.
