I recently got to know him, and I am thrilled to get his advice on collectible comics. I am sad that the store will be permanently closed in two months from now.There is so much selection on the 60s, 70s, and 80s high-grade books. All, of course, all the 90s-2000s.Get there before it is too late to get an excellent grade book at a very fair price.

Was great at first, however when youre told youre getting a really good deal, you in fact are not getting any kind of a good deal!!! I lived in Boone and used to love going there, but had to unexpectedly move in with my parents to take care of them and still had my subscription there, but when I talked to Aaron about my situation he immediately scoufed at me and told he was going to report me to a collection agency, but he still had the books and I didnt owe him any money and I went ahead and payed for the books and he didnt even have the decency to send me everything that I had in my box, so its better off closing seeing as how Aaron is a two faced con man and he has taken everyone for a stupid person without people even realizing it!!!

Miss this place, so much!!! Nice to go back home and see theyre still in business, and one of the biggest stores in Tennessee. Ive been going here for over 20 years, and its always the best!!!

Called to ask about a certain item. Was told no then he immediately hung up on me. Was very rude. Horrible customer service!!!!!

Visited for the first time today, and as my nephew and I only had a few minutes to spare, it was a short visit, albeit an extremely nice one! The gentleman working took the time to find the perfect introductory comic for my nephew, and he was very nice during the entire encounter. Will definitely be visiting again the next time Im in the area!

Showed up to make some purchases, the store wasnt open. Very disappointing.

The people in there are so nice and super helpful. They always do their best to get you what you want and will not hesitate to order issues that you need. They even hold new issues for you for free so you never miss one. I love this comic store.

First time visiting store the owner was extremely knowledgeable and freindly. Even made the fact the building air was not working on a hot day tolerable due to his interaction and vast selection of older comics from the 60s - 80s. Well worth visiting to look for back issues of any series of interest. Will always be first stop of choice when returning to area.

Great comic book store and great comic book knowledge.I had been going to another area comic store that really didnt have what I was looking for.I remembered Atomik from when my dad would take me as a kid so I figured I would swing by an see what they had.I havent shopped another comic store since.There selection is vast and amazing.They have everything from this weeks newest releases to the oldest and rarest of comics..Sean (the owner) is a really great guy.He can find(order on the spot), or most of the time has whatever it is your looking for.I recommend this place above all others because I have shopped at all the others an have never had quiet the same experience.

Not open on a day it said it would be open and wont answer the phone.

Cool store man. Found an incredible hulk issue I had as a kid and lost in a tornado in Indiana. I looked all over for 15 years and they had it event gave me a deal on it wonderful service.

The coolest location ever for a comic book store but I was in there for 20min without anyone so much as saying hello. I literally has to brush spider webs away when I walked towards the back... This could be an awesome store ...

The store itself has a decent location and good size with pretty good stock. However it is poorly lit, cold and they dont price a bunch of stuff until you have it at the checkout and then go to ebay to price it. Would suggest Mtn. Empire Comics.

My ABSOLUTE FAVORITE COMIC BOOK STORE. Once you walk in this classic and amazing atmospheric feeling store you will be bombarded by Silver age all over the wall. Man it was off the hook, they had at least 20000 silver age comic books. While the place can get a bit messy sometimes, it manages to stay ok. Shawn is very helpful.

I have never had a bad experience here, the owner has always been courteous and happy to help with any questions. A wide selection, most definitely the largest in the Johnson City area, i highly recommend this store for any of your comic needs.

First off, I get regular monthly subscriptions so I am there at least once a month to pick those up. Fantastic service that way. Second, every month I find stuff that I did not expect to buy. For example, a couple weeks ago I found a Dr. Strange I needed for my collection. Today I found Guardians of the Galaxy #1. I even found some variant covers of Buffy Season 8 that I had missed. Best thing: go in, peruse, and be patient as you do. It is the largest comic book shop in the south. The ownersShawn and Linds will always help you find what you are looking for, and if they dont have it, they will do their best got back order it/find it for you.

The ONLY comics shop worth visiting in Johnson City. Great service from people who truly love comics. Highly recommend for new releases and a comprehensive selection of back issues.
