All my thoughts of imagination and creativity couldnt keep a calm clear mindset entering the building. So many projects that I could do surpassed my mind I almost forgot what I came in to buy. Thankfully my husband came in because I wouldve spent more money than the Nessesary items I did buy. The prices are reasonable and the employees are very nice. Im unable to describe the amount of advice and help the wonderful staff at Joanns Fabrics provided in fabric selection, quilting items such as cutting mats & even scissors for my first quilt. Heather was especially helpful in explaining how to measure the edges so as to avoid excess waste (her patience was unbelievable as Im hardheaded).All the materials you see, including the thread, the embroidery floss as well as needles, embroidery rings and embroidery storage spools & cases were purchased here because of reasonable prices made even better by all in-store specials and daily discounts available from their downloadable app. However, wait till you are in the store to get the app for a special discount to use on your purchase.Joanns receives my highest praise & recommendation for all your sewing, knitting, embroidery, etc. needs.

I came into this store apprehensive of the reupholstery craft Im about to do. I wasnt sure of the amount of material I would need. I had my measurements but how much extra will I need for any kind of mistakes I could make ?? I walked up to ask for help...Angel was very knowledgeable and courteous, fun and easy to talk to. Actually,she talked me off the ledge and helped me make decisions and gave me ideas. She even helped me save a few dollars with the coupons I did not kno about. Angel was just that !!! An Angel !! I walked out of the store more confident in my craft than walking in. The store is very neat and tidy. It may be one of the smaller Joann stores that I have been in but it certainly is one of the nicest ! My new craft store for sure !! Honestly, Michaels and Wal-Mart have fabric but they dont have the customer service like the JC Joann does.

This place is the goto store for crafts and other stuff you need to make clothing I went there for heat tape and I found it with no problem the reason I gave it four stars is there is a young girl with glasses dont know her name I ask for help finding something and she told me she was busy then I see her just standing there doing nothing so I asked her again and she didnt seem to have a clue about anything there and was a little rude but being a guy maybe they think I dont belong there because I aint a women so ill do my shopping online from now on

Usually this place is awesome today however I was told I had to have exact change.... Not going to happen because thats illegal for one for two if I dont want to give exact change I dont have to. I generally spend a lot of money at this place but I wont be back no more. Ill take my money elsewhere. I have grandkids I give my one dollar bills to along with coins and no one is going to take that away from them.

The Johnson city store didnt have most of their doorbuster items in stock. The staff wasnt aware of the current sales. I have never been as disappointed in JoAnns as I was today.

They have pretty much everything you need for like crafts and quilting and stuff like that crocheting and small hobbies nothing electronic really little bit of lighting stuff like that. I went there for fabric I was looking for upholstery and they had an incredible, absolutely vast amount of upholstery you could use for any type of outdoor furniture. I had to get upholstery and foam for my Jeep seats and they had everything I needed including the stitch Master system which is awesome for upholstering it takes having to use to staple gun to hold things down to start out of the equation. As always two staffs great and helpful and they know what theyre talking about usually theyre into the crafts that sell

The location of this store is very convenient, and the employees are super friendly and helpful, but this store needs to double or triple in size so it can carry more merchandise and compete with local comparable businesses. This is the smallest Joann store Ive ever seen and only carries about a third of the inventory as other stores. Please expand!

Store has most items in stock. The app is difficult to use..and if u use the 40% off coupon online it would not allow the free shipping! Not good.

When I cant find what Im looking for anywhere else, I will go here as a last resort because its expensive. But they have a great selection of Disney fabrics that I absolutely love. Not always super friendly. I hate their music, I always try to hurry out because its so bad.

Awful customer service! I have so much to say! The cashier would NOT get the manager after I asked the first time! I had to ask 3 times through out the course of 15 min. ! All of it could have been resolved the first time I asked. They do not honor their coupons. At least the manager tried to explain. She did apologize however the specifics of what is excluded on these are there and were there they should have honored my 15.00$ off of 75.00$. The cashier Amie acted like it was a big inconvenience that I asked her to walk with me while we check the prices.... which I was right, not their computer system. I mean if you dont like dealing with the public then stay home and work from home. I always have price inaccuracies at this site. Almost like going to Walmart. The frustration in dealing with someone like that is why there are more purchases on line. I have contacted customer service and I will continue to go up the chain I firmly believe they should have honored the coupons.

This is a small Jo-Anns that they put into one of the old Hancocks locations. Not a huge selection. Worse part is the day I went they had an inventory company in there. - why they do that on the weekend I have no idea - maybe they could wait until the weekday when they arent crowded. I left without purchasing since it was crowded with the inventory takers.

The most unique collection of items you could think of It was sort of like all the things you want off eBay for home use Not to mention arts and crafts and everything else smacked into one store where you could actually see them and use them choes between them and so forthThe place was super busy but although the employees were overwhelmed they made extra effort and special attention to make sure everyone was seeing taking care of prices for hi but not for what you got in other words its not like they were overpriced at the store its just they have quality good products and so dont expect to go by Walmart brake stuff you know I have no complaints only praise absolutely amazing🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Without a doubt the smallest Jo-Ann in the US. After more then a month, still unable to complete my special order and every time I check, they mix me up with someone else. Going to get a refund and go elsewhere. Not like any Jo-Anns store Ive ever been to before.

Wait was terribly long not only at fabric counter but cashier meaning 2 separate long waits for those purchasing fabric. It was on Sunday early afternoon. Other customers said always like this. Not enough help. Waited in line 20 minutes just to buy one small spool of jute. Almost left without purchasing.

The JC JoAnn Fabrics is the smallest Ive ever been in. Limited selection, but the employees are kind. I know they were just filling in for the old Hancock Fabrics, but for my personal use, I often have to head to a second store or order online to get everything I need for larger projects.

When cutting fabric, they dont go over an inch like everyone else. They go right up to the one yard mark. When I get my $22/yard fabric home, it is less than a yard because they didnt go over and it isnt straight.
