Im only giving 4 stars because of a hiccup in my repair. They did great work but planning for parts arrival I feel could have been scheduled better. I wound up needing to return the car because they had an issue getting a new windshield. I think they could have foreseen this as it was on the original estimate and scheduled my repair for when all parts were to be available.Other than that I feel guys did great work and my car looks great. If need arises I believe I will use them again.

My car had extensive damage to the rear end after someone hit it while it was parked. ACT got me a quote on Friday, had it in the shop the following Monday, and by Friday they had it looking brand new. Very professional, and outstanding quality or work. Called in an insurance claim to replace my front bumper. Customer service was great, and they got me in quickly. New bumper looks amazing, and they detailed the exterior of the truck, making it look brand new! Highly recommend them!Not sure why it put 2 stars, my apologies, definitely thought I put 5!
If I could give negative stars, I would. They took over a month to due repairs, which should have taken a max of 2 weeks and tried to blame the delays on our insurance company. The delays were due to their poor management and scheduling. I could have even dealt with the delays if they had been honest. They lied several times about when the car would be ready and what had been done to it. Their work is sub par at most. After we received the car back, it has a loud whistling noise. Upon returning it, they said the couldnt determine where it was coming from and for us to just turn the radio up. Stay FAR AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE. I had to threaten to move the car just to get it finished.
The employees are very friendly and helpful, their shop is very clean and organized. Had a small issue with a repair and it was taken care of fast and with no issues. Will have all my future repairs done there, I highly recommend them!
I’m not proud that I’ve worked with ACT five times with two different cars, but it is what it is. The people there balance kindness and friendliness with professionalism. They are fair, honest, and extremely quick, and each time I have picked up my car, it has looked brand new. They have even buffed out additional places without charging me an arm and a leg. They fulfill their promises, and I would recommend them to anyone. Very, very pleased with my experiences there.

The staff was courteous, professional, and did an excellent repair in a timely manner. They worked closely with my insurance company and even arranged for a rental car before my arrival. And I was able to drop off the rental car at their business when repair was completed. The cost was fair and the craftsmanship was excellent. I highly recommend this firm for repairs to your vehicle.

Warning done leave anything you dont want to be seen or lost in your car.Repair was fine, though I had to call and find out if the car was done.Big issue is they vacuum the inside of my car and got rid of some sentimental items that were inside of it. Noticed some of papers that were in the car were also gone through also. Totally unacceptable.Work was for a bumper cover, no reason the inside of the car had to be cleaned or touched at all beyond driving into the bay to fix.
Hit a deer twice in within one year with my new truck. The second time was Major damage, cosmetically and mechanically. I brought it to here based on a recommendation. Very good service and attention to detail. Good communication and explanation as to work performed. Stuck to time line. Very happy! Hope I never see these guys again, but if I need auto collision repair again, I’m coming back here.

Took my car buy last Friday afternoon,got an estimate,told them to order part. Billy told me he would call when part arrived. He called me Monday afternoon and said part had arrived. I made an appointment for Friday April 12th at 11:30. Got there 11:20 and they took my car in. Billy told me it would take 20 minutes,he was wrong it took 15. I pulled out of the parking lot at 11:45. Its nice to have someone who exceeds expectations. I would give 6 stars if possible.

My truck was dented by a hit and run type incident . . . in a parking lot. But the dents in the side panel were significant. I requested a police report, went through insurance protocol, and had the dents and scrapes repaired at ACT (Automotive Collision Technologies). I called to make an appointment, which isnt required, but was greeted quickly by the staff. Two knowledgeable people helped me quickly fill out paper work, inspected the truck, made an estimate on their computer software and handled all of the insurance details. I also had a bad fog light unrelated to the insurance claim and they kept it all separated for me. The repair was EXCELLENT. This truck although it is a 2000 year model looks great. They cleaned up the truck on the outside all over, fixed the fog light bracket, and kept the interior clean while it was there for a very reasonable, short time. Thanks to ACT for fixing the truck!

A.C.T. has had my hummer for 7 weeks now minimum.. I have had no rental paid for by noone but myself!! My insurance company state farm sent my car here to have it fixed. 2 weeks maximum is what I was told!! My husband and I were called and told to pick it up about 3 weeks ago that it was ready and done.. I get there pay them what is owed from my part.. Get in my car and 1. It wont even turn over they have to jump it off twice!! 2. My window on driver side wouldnt even roll down. 3. I couldnt even get it out of the parking lot. So yes Im telling you it was not fixed.. So they take my keys back 2 hours of our time having to leave both jobs to go do this and its not fixed. So now it goes to the dealership and back and on week 8 Im awaiting my car! Hoping it is SPOTLESS not a scratch on it anywhere perfect everything...I give this a 4 in hopes I get it back at least sometime in the next few days. Oh. And I was given promises dates 2 separate times other than the time I went to pick it up. And we are now passed them as well...
These guys did a terrible job fixing my car. While I was working in Tennessee I was involved in an accident. I had my car taken here to be repaired per the recommendation of the wrecker driver. At ACT, I was billed for work that hadnt even been performed. Ironic that they forgot to do the work, yet remembered to bill me for it. As a result, I have service lights showing on my dash now. When I made ACT aware of as well as the things that they billed me for but failed to perform, I was dismissively told to just bring the vehicle back. Why should I have to bring my vehicle back to have work performed that you already billed me for having completed? Just nonsense! I cant respect people or an establishment that lies and deceives someone out of hard earned money. Literally costs me thousands of dollars to have a half azz job done. Then, they didnt even clean up after themselves. I had to have the car detailed to get all of the dirt and left over material out the was a result of their work. What kind of reputable establishment handles business like that? Not a Christian establishment by any means!

Took my 2008 Silverado in to swap the truck beds out (rusted fender wells). They did a excellent job at a great price. even put pinstripes back on the bed at no charge.. will recommend to others.

Took my vehicle there for a fairly small job. Turned out I had some suspension damage. A.C.T. reported it to the insurance company and the insurance company denied the additional claim because it was on the opposite side of the damage. They told me since the insurance company denied the claim it would be my responsibility for the additional repairs. Without going into it i just could not do it financially. The people at A.C.T. said they would not put me in a vehicle that was unsafe to drive so they fixed the suspension and said they took care of it for me and not to worry about it, just to remember them if I ever had another accident. I will never take my car anywhere else, and i will recommend this company to everyone i know. Thank you guys, no one has ever been so good to me.
They damaged the hood on my car. A scratch and several paint chips and one down to the metal.They left off numerous pieces and parts also. We had to take it back for that, thats when they damaged my hood. We thought they were great at first. I will be taking any other work I have to someone else.
The people are nice enough and polite. The quote was the cheapest I found too. The problem I had was when my wife realized immediately that her passenger side floor mat was missing. I searched the car just to make sure it didnt just get put in the wrong place then called to see where it might be. Well they lied and said there was only one mat when they got the car. Since I JUST purchased the factory mats ($150+) a few months ago, I am 100% positive that the mat was there when I dropped it off. I dont know what happened to the mat but it happened on their watch and they refuse to take responsibility for it.
I had a terrible experience with ACT. When I dropped off my car for repair I was told it would take 2 to 3 weeks. A couple of weeks later I was told they were behind and it would take a couple more weeks. That happened again and again, they ended up having my car for 10 weeks...which cost me over $700 in rental car costs. And if that wasn’t frustrating enough they did a terrible job at the repair. I didn’t want to go back so State Farm let me take it to a different shop for corrective repairs. The other shop found so much stuff wrong with it that my car ended up getting totaled. ACT hid a bunch of serious problems. They lied to me and to my State Farm agent. Absolutely horrible.

They did a great job replacing the bumper on our car but it took 2 weeks. They ordered that parts wrong twice. At least I was not paying for the rental car.
Little late with the review, but I feel I should let others know what kind of business these people do. I had a wreck back in January 2017 and damaged the front end. I was told the car would need the front-end body replacement and some mechanical work including new radiator and condenser. After about 5 weeks, I got a call that the car is fixed. After inspecting the car, I realized the driver side mirror still had cracks and was not replaced, and the car was so dirty inside. Geico paid almost $4000 for the repair, I would assume they would at least clean the car. I went inside the shop and told the lady about the mirror. She said Billy will call me the next day, as he left for the day. I took the car home to Piney Flats, and drove maybe 10 miles, and the check engine sign came on. I parked the car in the driveway and called the shop the next day as they were already closed. Spoke with the manager Billy. He asked me to bring the car back to the shop to look at it. I took day off from work, took the car back to the shop and was told the oxygen sensors are bad. He said he will fix the mirror since they forgot to file supplement. They had the car for about 5 weeks, they should have done a better job and filed supplement as needed.I took the car to a local mechanic and got the oxygen sensors replaced, all of them. About 15 miles down the road the check engine sign came back on, along with the oil sign. My car started jerking and then died in the middle of Bristol Highway. I got it towed to my driveway and called AutoNation Chrysler to inspect the problem. Got the car towed to AutoNation and paid for the inspection. Told them about the repairs done by ACT and it’s only been a day after and the car died. I was told by the service manager that the transmission was out of oil and it needed to be replaced. Insurance denied the claim off course, but ACT was too negligent to check and fill the oil after the repair. The oil was leaked during the wreck.In the meantime, ACT was notified by Chrysler and was told about the situation. I asked to speak with Eddie and after chasing him down for 2 days, got in touch with him. He started making excuses about me driving the car and the leak was old. I know my car, and I know I never had a leak before the wreck. I had timely oil changes on the car and would know if there was a transmission leak. To mu surprise, the service manager from Chrysler called me the next day and told me the transmission is fine and we don’t have to replace it. He said Eddie called him and agreed to pay for the transmission flush. I went back to pick up my car, but Eddie made me sign a document saying that if anything ever happens to the car, they are not responsible, or he won’t release the car. I signed, without knowing any better. But he knew all this time, what he had done. And they personally do business with AutoNation, so to save their business and relationship, they did me wrong. The car was fine for 3 months, and then started having problems again. I took it back for inspection to 3 different places, and they all told me same thing – replace the transmission which was previously damaged after the repair. They messed up the transmission, and they knew what was going to happen and thats why he made me sign that document.As a repair shop, if you are changing the radiator, how can you not see the transmission fluid was leaked all over? How can you be so negligent about not filling fluids after you keep the car for 5 weeks and do repairs? How do you fail to do inspection after repair? I trusted them with my car. They were paid $4000 for the work, and they totaled my car. Not only that, to cover their mistake, they put the blame back on me and made a deal with AutoNation to lie to me. I would never recommend bringing your car to them. The owner has zero respect for his customers and lie and cheat people just to make money! I am sure they make enough money to not care that they totaled someones car due to their negligence and failed to take responsibility.

Our Shop does not have any frame or Unibody equipment so we (JCCC) sub-contracted ACT to perform frame work to a full Size duel wheel chevy 2500 pick-up truck. The Truck was hit hard the frame was diamond. ACT did a spectacular job of aligning this vehicle back to factory specifications. The parts fit flawlessly when we got the truck back. Cudos to a shop that even takes the time to help other shops out in the area when most shops are so insecure about their business that they perceive other shops as their enemy.
Dudes need to either do their job better or get a new one. Over a week late on my vehicle and they’re still BSing me.
I just got my car it fixed but the car was so dirty inside dust plus i realize they used 30 mile drive i dont know why it should be fixing there so no need to drive 30 mile thats mean they were using it plus the time dash changed looks like reset . The seat moved never back like before . Thats all i found for now but after i finish work i will check and see if there anything else
SUMMARY:Would not recommend, as I would not feel comfortable leaving my car under their care.Series of Events:Recommended by friend, took car for back-end repair with rear body pull and alignmentMet Eddy(the owner) who was nice, reassuring, resonable pricing, and assured car would be done by when I had to travelCalled at the end of the next day to check on progress and car work had not even been started, despite all the insurance paperwork being in order. Daniel(front desk) admitted fault and assured car would be ready by Thursday evening still.Dropped in/called to check on progress, car was not available on Thursday night or Friday morning, but was available Friday evening. Although all cost was handled by insurance, I was asked for money in error, which I had to bring to their attention. Repair work looked alright but before leaving I realized that the button to open the trunk was not working, brought this to their attention and they reassured me that they would take care of it when I get back into town. I returned my rental(provided by insurance) and took my car. I noticed that the latch to close my gas cap was also broken, with pulling work visibly apparent by it. Personalized odometer setting and clock time was reset likely due to battery removal for whatever reason.When back, I arranged for my own transport, Dropped my car off early before work (after calling and confirming that they would work in it and have it ready by lunch). At lunch i was told by the shop manager that Daniel never told him about the work and speak to him directly. He was very rude on the phone and started claiming that these things were probably old problems. When i picked up my car he had looked at where the wires ran but had not put anythign back in place.I again dropped it back the following week when i had time (I work 6 days a week x 12h), arranging for my own transport. ATC admitted fault but did not provide compensation for transport. This time shop manager replaced the latch but was still unable to fix the button. Told me to take it to Nissan on my own expense. Further gave me a quote of approximately $148 for gas cap latch. I was unappy with the work and refusal to fix their mistakes and asked to speak to Eddy. The lady at the desk claimed she did not have Eddys number. I left my number with specific instruction to make sure he calls but never recieved a call. Furthermore when i got into my car, ontop of ususal mechanic grease, there was a burnt fuse on the floor, and my back seats were folded down, trunk content on passenger area floor.I waited patiently for a call from Eddy the owner but did not recieve one, hence I feel i should write a review for others to know about the service (and perhaps Eddy too). I was compeltely dissapointed in their service and would defenitely recommend people look around before choosing ATC, and if they do choose ATC check for problems that they may have created while fixing one problem. I would not feel comfortable leaving my car under their care.

These guys are amazing. My wife and I were traveling from Alexandria Virginia to Mississippi to visit our family for Christmas when we hit a monster, 10 point buck, Crossing I-81 about 40 minutes south of Bristol at 2:30 AM. We were driven to the Tri-Cities airport about an hour after that and had to wait, with all of our Christmas gifts and our dog, until 7am until the car rental opened up. We did not really know what to do next so we contemplated a few places where we wanted to get our brand new (certified pre-owned Lexus) suv fixed. We went with our gut after speaking with ACT and could not have made a better decision. To make a longer story short, we picked our car up and you could not tell ANYTHING had ever happened to it. We could not be more pleased! Thank you so much ACT! Keep up the good, I mean great, work! 5 stars!
