Good selection of asian products, especially if you are looking for candy. Oh, nice vintage clocks were pretty cool.

Really great selection. I was able to obtain Aji-No-Moto Cooking Mirin and Lee-Kum-Kee Mushroom flavor dark soy sauce, which I cant find anywhere else in our area, to make some marinated ramen eggs! Along side plenty of noodles, bag of MSG, royal tea milk, and steamed buns!

Fantastic store. Very nice people and good food. Best Kimchi I ever had. His mother makes it fresh daily. Give them a chance and you will love it.

The owner and employees are nice. Theyll order stuff for you if they get enough feedback. Prices are pretty good. Only thing I dont like is that a lot of the prices arent labeled on the items.

For a random unique trip to an Asian market for the first time, I enjoyed the place as a whole. My wife got stuff she liked, I got stuff I thought was unique, and my son got a spiderman snapback hat for like 5$. I enjoyed the entire store. Would take my wife back happily to get an excuse to shop there myself haha.

Love coming to this store to get home made kimchi, done the right way. They have a nice selection of products.

What a lovely market! I was so happy to find 10lbs bags of sushi rice, and the customer service was a 10/10! Will be coming back for more!

Super cool selection of Korean delights!

Honestly love this place a ton and go here whenever I can. They have a very large variety in ingredients from meats to vegetables to condiments. Another plus is they have sweets that you are unable to get anywhere else as well, that are super delicious. The staff is very nice and helpful too, and even if you are having some issues figuring out what it is youre looking for, showing a picture or at least providing a description lets them help you find anything you need as they are highly knowledgeable on what they carry and can tell you if theyve got it. I highly reccomend that anyone who enjoys this type of food go here to shop!

This is a handy little shop! Normally I go to stockpot for my asian grocery needs, but this place is more convenient. The stock is a little more limited, but they have all the basics and some unique things too!

This place is wonderful! They have a great selection of ingredients for Korean and Chinese cuisine. And, they are all so friendly and helpful. Wonderful selection of ramen, dumplings, and fresh ingredients. Going here has become a weekly event for us. It’s a local and family-owned business which, is always great to support! I highly recommend this place for new and experienced Asian quinine lovers! Plus, the in-house kimchi is amazing!

Love them!!!!The mother/daughter duo that manage this store are wonderful!One of my most fond experiences here was during a major thunderstorm. They housed my family and me through the storm and bantered happily with us, even though their power had gone out. They were so kind that day, a much needed ray of sun to such a rainy day!On top of all that, the produce at this store is always top quality for low, low prices! I cant tell you how many dishes are made from the wide range of product they have. They have treats and meals you cant find anywhere else! And their food bar is amazing!If youre in Johnson City and you have the time, definitely check out this lovely Korean Market!

Moving to JC sounded like I was going to miss home-cooked meals... this is not the case since Kimchi Market is available and near ETSU! The store has all the ingredients and products I need. They have unique snacks like red bean ice cream which is hard to find. The kalbi and bulgogi are to die for.

Its a great little store with all the hard to find necessities for Asian cuisine. It has a whole bunch of different kinds of rice, beans, snacks, drinks, ramen and cheap noodle dinners. They also sell the namesake Kimchi, but I havent tried it yet.

The market is very well stocked. The food that is freshly prepared daily is better than anything Ive ever had in a restaurant. The workers are kind, and the owner is very sweet. Not to mention the quality of the kimchi made here is amazing.

Its unassuming from the outside, but there are so many goodies on the inside. The Kimchi Market had several items that we either hadnt seen before or had had a hard time finding. They had fresh kimchi too! Will be returning sometime soon.

This place is growing! Every time I come around they have new stuff, and they do that cool thing where theyll order stuff for you if enough people request it. I like that theyve expanded their fresh groceries; they carry enoki and king mushrooms, which are hard to find around here. Both of the people who work here that Ive encountered have been friendly and helpful in that way of, help you if you want, leave you alone if you dont, which I really appreciate. If youre into Asian cooking they have the heavy hitters as far as sauces and spices, and if youre looking for snacks theyve got a robust ramen selection and lots of tasty chips and things. I will definitely be back.

A small, locally owned Korean market/grocery, with an amazing amount of variety. Kimchi, noodles, aloe water, the works, all priced competitively.

This store has a lot of Asian cuisine options. Their ramen selection is quite big. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I got one of the dolsat bowls and she told us how to use it and how to clean it properly. They have fresh made kimchi which was really tasty. The coconut milk was really delicious I wish I lived closer so I could shop here more often. A very nice place to shop! The prices are really good too.

As a person who cooks Korean food often this is probably one of the best places to buy ingredients. They are reasonably priced.

The food is great for those who like Korean, Japanese, Chinese foods outside of buffets. I personally like their Samyang noodles. Ive tried them and now Im HOOKED and come/go regularly to buy them.They also have things such as mochi (regular and ice cream filled), kimchi, pocky, seasoned seaweed chips for snacking, Ramune sodas, seaweed wrapping, and other great items as well.Just be prepared, because their things are a bit pricey. (Its worth it though)
