One of the liquor shops that I like in Jersey City. It has a dynamic variety of wines, beers, whisky, etc, with a reasonable price.

I was looking for a Birthday card on Newark Avenue. Not much luck. I see the Marquee sign for Palace Drugs, Organic Wines--Pharmacy--Liquors--Greeting Cards. I walk into a liquor store. I ask about Greeting Cards thinking I am in the wrong place. The guy in the Liquor Store says the greeting cards are in the pharmacy, back that way. I go back there and enter a different world--I leave a Liquor store and walk into a scaled downRite-Aide. If they aint got it you dont need it. Back into the liquor store--great selection of wine and spirits and the price was right. Picked up some very tasty, excellent wines--and the prices are more than right.Anyway, I cant say enough about how much I enjoy Palace Drugs, Jersey City. Quality Combined with Funk puts me in a good mood. Im going back.

Avoid this place at all cost, I stopped shopping here after I purchased a bad bottle of wine and store owner was extremely rude to me when i tried to exchange it. The purchased bottle of wine tasted like vinegar and was returned within 30 minutes of its purchase. During the attempted exchange the store owner told me I would have to wait until he received a refund from his supplier to exchange the bottle of wine for another one. I was free to give him my number and in a week or two he would contact me. I have returned bottles of wine to other local liquor stores, none of them have this policy. When I expressed my frustration with the stores policy the store owner became belligerent and said that was the policy. Save yourself some time and money and shop elsewhere in Jersey City. There are plenty of other options with better customer service.

All your drugs and liquour in one spot!

Pretty good variety of six packs to grab on the way home. Reasonable prices. Not sure how it functions as a drug store since Ive only ever bought beer here ha

Staff is super helpful and willing to deal with questions about drugs and even Blink, Good Rx. Really anything!

Extremely rude and unaccommodating staff. Essentially stole my money when I tried to return a bottle of wine that was off/bad, smelled and tasted like vinegar. Other stores in the area give you an exchange, not this place. Wouldnt even give me a refund.

Lady at the Pharmacy is very polite and helpful.
