Really nice place with really bad employee and customer service. At checkout I and my friend were deciding on who pays for which bottle and it took less then 5 seconds for us to decide. But in that time front desk clerk was very rude with no help what so ever when we asked that if they had particular wine in stock.

Great Wine selection!As a 1st time customer, was a bit confused on what sections/ aisles carried which ones. But eventually was able to find what I was looking for.

Asked if they had a wine bottle bag I could buy and the gal stated that they do not sell them. I asked what I needed to buy in order to get a bag. A man came out from the office, took a sample wine bag I wanted, tore it up in front of me, and said I should get it at Target. I said I didnt have time to head there and again asked what I needed to buy in order to get a bag. They then referred me to the grocery store next door and I responded that they do not have any. I again asked what I needed to buy and couldnt understand what they were saying or mumbling, but they were very rude in what they did and not simply telling me what I needed to buy. The man behind me asked if he would get a bag upon his purchase, they said yes, and he gave me the bag I needed. I never yelled, used any negative language, and had my 4yr old son with me so I wasnt making a scene in any way.

Great section of drinks. They even had Kosher Bartenura and dry red wines. The guy was helpful in helping me find what I needed. Prices are expensive.

Between the two of us we probably buy $150-200 of wine here a week. Even with the higher prices and mediocre red wine selection I try to support a local store.I was selecting a bottle on the bottom shelf and there was too much stock jammed up behind it (which wasnt visible). One bottle fell and broke and the manager rolled his eyes and asked me to pay for it. It was a $14 bottle. I hope it was worth my business.

Standard liquor store with an okay selection of spirits. They could use to expand their whiskey selection a little, but overall not too bad.

I just got off the phone with this store and I am surprised at the manipulation tactic used on me to try to get an extra $10. I called and asked for a delivery of a $20 Napa Cabernet (something like Mondavi). The guy on the phone proceeds to tell me that the cheapest Napa Cabernet is $30. Seriously? If I am asking for a specific wine its because I get it all the time.I like to surprise my family with nice wines for the holidays and birthdays (Sassicaia, Opus One, I even been known to bring Screaming Eagle to a birthday party or 2). Well, they just completely lost my business and thousands of dollars from me for a cheap ploy to get an extra $10. Word of mouth is strong in Newport too since its a close knit community. I will not be recommending this store to my friends who live here, instead Ill be touting Buy Rite, which has a huge selection, is cheaper and just 2 blocks away.

A bit pricey. They dont offer a wide selection of beer but they do have a wide selection of wine and liquor.

Range of liquor is very good but its much on the costlier side.
