I really really like the staff; but there are just too few of them! Or the ones that do not have customers, in the left hand side of the store( straight sales ) are just talking and waiting, while TWO people in the shipping/printing/photocopying area are up to their eye-balls in customers and DETAILS ! Because they really do attend to detail, you get quality service for stickers/ cards/ invitations etc. But as has been said by other customers, if you simply need a hand learning which of their copiers to use for a self-print session /or a simple shipment, you will WAIT AND WAIT … and wait . Suggestion… if a customer needs a full scale treatment on her wedding invitations, have one person, specializing in that all day every day with set appointments. Don’t tie up the one rep you have doing this, while customers line up to buy a box of envelopes and a packets of white out !

If anyone is looking for a job DO NOT work for Staples. the Route 440 location is a toxic environment and its definitely not the place for customers to shop at, they will be wasting their money including their time. management is disgusting, disrespectful and very unprofessional, they are also dishonest and I strongly suggest for no one to waste their time working for that company. RUN for the hills, do not walk!

Waited for more than 30 minutes just to ship something via UPS. It used to be two separate lines for print services and shipping services, now it’s just one. Print associates were helping customers which I understand but there was definitely time in between while their things were printing that they could have taken a customer waiting to ship but they were purposely taking their time even though the line kept growing.

Incredible patience and service from the team behind the copy and print center. Calm cool and collected while being barraged with requests. I came to Newark for a one day business event and forgot business cards. I came in late (after 8pm) and they got the job done even though I uploaded images that were too small the first time. They took care of me while also taking care of a few others giving them trouble.Thank you!

One of your employees was definitely high. Plus he had too many facial piercings and was flirting with another employee at the register. Another employee was sitting on the counter where they print stuff and make posters. But the guy who helped me was very nice and polite. Overall a weird experience but not the worst.

Nobody have an idea of how an email system works, they are aware they have a problem with the system that receives the emails for self serve printing services and they still send the people outside to see if they can get the email Goin thru, bunch of useless people!

Great customer service! The staff members are friendly and helpful. I purchased a financial calculator that I saw on line and when I went to the store they had it for six dollars more than it was online. I showed the salesperson that helped me with my purchase the lower price on their website and they honored the lower price.

Exceptionally wonderful experience on Friday 10-26-18 at the print services area. Sheray was very patient with me and my many questions and screw-ups. Attentive and quick to respond, when she could, to my calls for help. Went in expecting mid to high pricing, and some difficulty with the print product I needed; ended up leaving with a great price and a better product that I wanted. Will update after pick-up. Great place to pick up office supplies and supplies for the house. Get copies made for 11 cents each and can also make copies from an email. Can get black and white or color copies. Staff very helpful.

This Staples never has enough help. You can never find assistance without going to the front desk to have someone to help, paged.The self help printing and copy center always has two or three of the four printers/ copiers not working.The lines are long.Its time to find another stationary store... maybe another Staples. ....Maybe.

Service is so slow here its if they are moving backwards. No one in the store as you can see with my pictures but still waiting over 25 minutes to make a copy because all the self copiers are broken. Really???? At the copy center.

Is it just my imagination, or did staples are about to become fully virtual? It just seem that they tool all the large items that are bigger than office chair and now you can only get them by ordering online. Good store that used to be a lot better.

The people at printing services are very professional, courteous and very knowledgeable. They always make you feel very welcome.Haven’t had the same experience with the other staff.

I think the weekday staff is better. It is now Saturday and have tried talking to the copy center to know if business cards I ordered are already available for pick up. I was on hold for over 10 minutes and just now another 8 minutes with no one picking up the call. The weekday staff seems much more efficient in picking up calls to answer questions. I would give 1 star for today if it wasnt for the weekday staff being more efficient.

Never had difficulties with employees but have had to deal with rude shoppers. Today I couldn’t help but overhear a flat out ignorant (uneducated) conversation between a female employee and a male shopper. Now I was always raised on, “if you don’t have anything nice to say, then don’t say anything at all.” I think that should apply to topics that folks aren’t knowledgeable of ie: neuroscience, forensic engineering etc. but to hear residents complaining about who moves into this part of New Jersey all while pointing fingers at the people moving in and not at the city council members and other elected officials that sell out “the neighborhood” all while they fill their own pockets as the rents and price of living goes up. You had so much energy and passion and I applaud you for that but the target you are aiming for, isn’t your enemy. Word to the wise don’t let ameriKKKa get you confused and hating other cultures, they tried so desperately to destroy ours and yet we rise......🤷🏽‍♀️

I was shopping for school supplies for my high school son, I found everything I needed. But some of the items were a bit pricey, especially the subject notebooks. The lines move a little quicker than last year.

Shearay was nothing short of hospitable and accommodating! She walked me through designing business cards and with her recommendation exceeded my expectations. All while doing so with beautiful smile on her face! Thanks again, Shearay!

Its pretty standard staples, not a whole lot to say there. The folks in the copy center are helpful.

Terrible customer service. I understand being busy but the staff did not even acknowledge I was even standing at the UPS shipping counter for at least 20 mins. Multiple employees walk back and forth before finally one person needed something behind the area of the counter where I was waiting. At that point I was told they dont print Amazon pre paid labels because the dont have a scanner, so I should go to the UPS store 1 mile down the road. Waisted 30 mins.

Ive been there on many occasions and almost everytime I have to spend at least an hour in the store just to get prints! Most of their machines dont work and the wait time is ridiculous.. Call the store if you place an online order. I ordered a computer keyboard and an ink cartridge 4 hrs later still no order email saying my order was completed. So much for 1 hour pickup. I showed up 20 minutes before closing and they never got my order together. So I js to wait for them to shop my order.

Very bad customer service at copy center. Just wanted to get spiral binding done for my project, took 1 hour for 3 persons to get it done. Very inefficient staff. I wish I could give them half star.

The worst costumer service! Waiting to pick up an order and the Staples Print workers took two people in front of me. The first one cutting the line was allowed to do so by the Employee because she knew them. The second person cutting the line just asked for a copy and the other Employee who knew I was 1st in line still helped her first. What kind of customer service is this?!?! ... All they had to do for me was ring me up so I can pay and leave but yet they took two people who actual print jobs ahead of me while I waited right at the front of the counter. I will never go back there, never.

The staples copy center at Newport in Jersey city was inefficient and the service was very bad.But in contrast the service at the Staples copy center located in the Hudson Mall, also in Jersey City, was excellent in every aspect.

I have been going to staples 440 for so long. And it is very helpful that we have one staples near my house. I am so happy with one of your employee name shearary i think or sheary maybe. She is one of a kind interms of doing her job, at first when she sees a costumer she will greet you warm and with a smile that is natural. She is very accomodating and she will make sure that when you leave staples you are happy like my experience when she helped me with my wedding invitations. All of my guest about 60 persons loves the invitations. no sarcastic. Thank you so much! 5 star for you shearary.. but so sorry with the name. Its sounds like that....
