Cute place serving interesting types of ice cream: marshmallows or frozen bacon. But the cleanliness needs to be desired more. Plus paying $8 plus tax for a two scoop ice cream is a bit excessive.

Very unique experience! I had the glampfire sundae which was delicious. The Graham cracker ice cream was a nice touch. I would definitely come back to try other sundaes. They also serve a wide variety of coffee!

I tried this place today and was blown away. The ice cream is so delicious (Chef Matt explained why) and the flavors were excellent. This place is an experience and I appreciated every thoughtful detail from the chocolate injector to the color-changing spoon. The homemade marshmallow made me especially happy. I look forward to trying the coffee soon!

Went here with my friends and wasn’t disappointed. Ice cream was great and Matt put on a show while making it. Tried the Cheesy Cheetos and PB&J sandwich scoops, delicious!

JC seems to have an abundance of ice cream shops these days but Cryo Cream is a must-visit! The regular flavors are very good but the sundaes are where its at: innovative, layered and calculated. They rotate the sundaes so you can get something new every time you visit. Chef Matt graciously shares the process and ingredients of his creations and the rest of his staff is very attentive and welcoming.Bonus points for the GOT decor ;)

HOLY AMAZINGNESS!!! Not only is this ice cream really cool looking but it is honestly the best I have ever eaten! All of the sundaes are super creative and everything is made by Chef Matt himself, from the ice cream to the toppings. You cant possibly get fresher and better quality ice cream anywhere else. Delicious ice cream and a unique experience! They make the ice cream right in front of you using liquid nitrogen to rapidly cool it so its a bit different than your standard scoop but really good. The flavors are great and the price isnt bad for the amount you get.

This place is awesome! Matt is an awesome Chef who’s created these great recipes from Vegan flavors to decadent s’mores sundae. Went there this past Sunday for a treat after lunch, they have cold brews, smoothies and chai/Thai teas! Great new spot in Downtown Jersey City!

A very cute local ice cream place. Such a fun spin on ice cream making - the liquid nitrogen makes for quite the visual spectacle while your ice cream is being handmade in front of you. Fun spot to take friends or aa great end to a date night. Staff is friendly and inviting. Cant wait to go and try more flavors.

I *really* wanted to love the ice cream. Maybe its just the 1 flavor that isnt very good? Roasted Strawberry, I expected to taste like...strawberry with *oomph*. Definitely didnt get that. It literally tasted like cream with a LOT of sugar. Couldnt taste any strawberry at all. I hadnt eaten in 4 hours, had 2 glasses of water previously, not a smoker, no allergies--so its not that I couldnt taste. The ice cream just didnt have any taste. I wish I could get my roommates money back.

Wow. Wow. Wow. Saw that it opened while I was walking my dog over the weekend so figured I have to try it out soon. After an entire weekend of being outside in this unusual heat wave, I looked at my watch at 8:46pm and rushed downstairs to see if they were still open. Thank the ice cream lords they were. I talked to the owners for a bit and congratulated them on opening, especially on such a hot weekend. They recommended the most amazing and delicious thing that I have not had in a while - the Glampfire. To top it all off (besides that toasted Marshmallow), it was #NationalIceCreamDay. Cant wait to bring my mom here when she visits. Thanks Chef Marotto.

The ice cream here is great - the chief is really into experiments and creations so go big with the ordering. Some of my favorite flavors Ive had are Bone marrow, habanero Mexican chocolate and vegan taro cookies and cream.Dont sleep on the cookies either, duck fat chocolate chip.

Chef Matt and his lovely wife created an unforgettable experience for my party of five. We enjoyed the show of watching nitrogen blasted ice cream and the flavors were to die for. I had the Just beet it and loved it. Ill be back soon to sample more of these amazing flavor combos. Kudos to Cryocream.

New Ice cream place in JC but this is not your typical ice cream shop, here they make Cryo Ice Cream, the process is different as they dont freeze the ice cream, is prepared in front of you.Its a whole different experience and the sundaes they prepared are both tasty and full of flavor, their presentation is just beautiful.The owner are super cool and informative about the process and how they started. They also have cold brew coffee and they sell the ground Coffee.Overall you must try Cryo Cream, you wont be disappointed you did.

Good God, you must come to Cryo Cream! Truly a gourmet experience and very likely the best ice cream I have ever eaten. I plan to return on a weekly basis to make sure Im up to date on the rotating sundae options. The portions are well sized, and the ice cream itself is not overwhelmingly sweet, theres so much going on flavor-wise. We got the Glampfire and Three Little Pigs, both were impressive in very different ways. Id also like to mention while Im here that Matt and Rachel are super friendly. My boyfriend and I had a great time talking to them and look forward to becoming regulars.

By far the most delicious and unique ice cream experience! The avocado was hands down the best ice cream I’ve ever had in my life. Be prepared to be blown away and hooked. Cannot wait to try them all!

I have been to cryocream twice now and can already tell it’s the best in jersey city. Everytime I’ve been there it’s filled with happy faces enjoying delicious ice cream. The family friendly staff was so helpful in explaining the menu and helping us really enjoy the cryocream experience. I can’t wait to continue coming back.

The coffee is smooth and delicious and the owner clearly cares about quality. The nitro cold brews are outstanding and if you want to splurge, the affogato is hard to beat. With his new little machine, he does individual nitro batches so can also whip up a nitro chai or Thai tea. And opening at 7am during the week, you can grab something before work.Update: ice cream tastes awesome (I love the chocolate peanut butter) and the cold brew affogato with chocolate is the bomb.

I can’t say enough about Cryocream. Chef Matt is so inventive. Not only are they picture perfect, they are absolutely delicious too. I think my all time favorite is Chocolate Relapse, but it’s so hard to choose! He created a spicy jalapeño sundae once and I was hesitant to try, but even that was incredible! Don’t skip the Nitro Affogato either because his coffee brews are awesome too. Definitely recommend!!
