Coffee is good. Pasties are good. Scenery is welcoming.3 stars because they are never open on time. A coffee joint should be ready at 8am for customers. Zombies crawling out of liberty harbor. Looking to feed on iced coffee. Ive been living at liberty harbor for over a year and brewshot has yet to be open on time. I am writing this at 8:15am because they are not yet open. A zombie is writing this.

I ordered medium match green tea and it literally tasted like water. Barista had no personality at all. We asked her if she can add more match green tea and she literally added half a spoon and it still tasted something mixed with milk and water.I had to throw the whole thing out and I was pretty disappointed.

I will give them that my barista was super nice. But that’s the only nice thing I can say about this place. Two big problems:1. The barista was constantly sniffing her nose and was obviously sick. Although it might be a cold or allergy, I really don’t think they should put anyone who shows symptoms to work.2. I throw up after I had the tea and sandwich wrap I got from there. Not sure if this relates to the first problem.Be careful! !

Good coffee shop with high ceilings, nice decor and laidback vibe; definitely not a place for people in rush. They have nice selection of pastries and bagels available too. We went on a Saturday morning; ordered iced & regular latte. Iced latter was served in a mason jar and was really good. My wife liked the flavour of her hot latte but it was not hot enough. Overall, a nice experience.

Hidden gem worth hunting out. Had a croissant, as did my wife and both were stale unfortunately. Place is huge with lots of seating, natural light and friendly staff. Would highly recommend. I usually like to get a cappuccino with the Double Chocolate & Walnut biscotti. Its a nice one-two combo to perk up the PM haze.

Great coffee, perhaps one of the best coffees I have had in Jersey city. Lots of similar places near Grove and exchange havent come close to this execution of coffee. Hidden gem worth hunting out. Had a croissant, as did my wife and both were stale unfortunately. Place is huge with lots of seating, natural light and friendly staff. Would highly recommend.

I love it here! Great for studying or a quiet time off by myself. I especially like the high chairs by the window that have power outlets. It is not crowded at all compared to other locations in JC. Great coffee and tea. Friendly and personable staff. Though I dont appreciate the music sometimes but I usually bring my headphones so no big deal for me.

I have my go-to spots close by so I never ventured out more, but with this place right across the street, I had to stop in and check it out. I ordered an iced matcha latte and an espresso for my husband. We then found out they had a $10 minimum for CC so we also ordered a glaze donut. The matcha latte was good, not the best, but good.

This place is kind of strange, but lovely as a place to settle in and do quiet work or hang out on the weekend. I came there as a big group and they were very tolerant of us, but the barista was super laid back and sometimes spent quite a while talking to his regulars while there were people waiting in the line. Definitely not a place to go if youre in a rush, but the cookie we tried was really lovely and they happily topped up my tea with hot water.

Coffee Shop is a cute hole in the wall modern coffee shop in Bernal. There are some parking meters out front and free side street parking, but I personally find this place inconvenient to get to since I have to drive. They have a pretty impressively curated menu, including a variety of gluten free pastries, and it was not bad but I personally was not a huge fan of any of the food or drinks I ordered.

I live close to at least 4 great coffee shops but Brewshot is usually my go to! They have really good, strong brewed coffee that is great even without milk added. Their service is always quick and they get my drink right every time (can’t say the same for the local Starbucks!). It’d be awesome if they added some outdoor seats now it’s nice out but at least it’s cozy and rarely full inside

Friendly staff, plenty of street parking right around the corner. Coffee is a bit pricey but theres never a wait (compared to Starbucks) & its a convenient place to study/ get work done. Plenty of seating along the window or at a table, with outlets all along the wall. Background music varies from hip hop, alterative, to whatever the hipster staff are in the mood for. Bring earphones and youll be good!

Breakdown:4.5 - space: clean, plenty of space, has power outlets and wifi. Doesnt feel cozy though.2 - coffee: cappuccino was not good. Barely any foam, just warmed up milk. Tried their brewed coffee - dark roast. Felt more like medium and was very thin, had a sour aftertaste, like many poorly-balanced medium roasts.4 - bathroom: was clean, but there was no lock. Never seen that before.4.5 - service: very friendly, but slow. Both barista and the chef (if thats the right characterization of his role) were nice. Cappuccino was brought to the table much later than the bagel, soup was not brought at all - had to get it from the counter.3.5 - food. Soup: mushrooms with something (didnt catch the name) - tasteless, served scalding hot. Finished it only because I was very hungry. Sesame bagel with cream - good, though, nothing special.Manhattan-level prices: $4 cappuccino, $2.75 small brewed coffee, $5.25 small soup.

Slowwww service and bad food. I waited 20 minutes for the Sweet Challa Toast (aka french toast). They gave it to me cold and it had no flavor. Was supposed to be made with Challa bread but instead was bland white bread. I just paid $9 for soggy toast 🙈.This is my 3rd time ordering food there and 2 of 3 have been bad. Bottom line: get the coffee and tea, stay away from all food.
