Long lines and wait to get in store due to covid precautions . I quickly found what i needed for a business trip . Stood in line for 75 mins ! There was 3 cashiers at this location but only one seemed to be working the other 2 would laugh and chat and walk away to touch a hanger and stare and walk back . They were taking atleast 10 mins per guest . I dont know where the manager is but ive worked retail and although its no walk in the park you shouldnt be punishing the customers because your on an hourly wage..ring up the people and get them on their way . Ridiculous! Never agian. THIS IS THE WORST LOCATION IVE EVER BEEN TO. Avoid at all costs .

Only go there if you don’t mind being in line for like an hour or more. No matter what time of the day it is that line is always long.It’s like going to Walmart but 10times worse .It can be 5-10 employees there no one is willing to help and only one register is open.It’s 6 registers but only one person to ring you up & doing returns .Weekdays or weekends it make no difference .To save time just try another location Newport isn’t it.

The employees here move like they all ate a bottle of Xanax. The line to check out was to the door to leave. The finally opened a 3rd register and it barely made a difference. I’ve been in line now for 45 min just to pay. Someone needs to light a fire under these people so they move with some sort of speed. The place is also a mess. Clothes on the floor everywhere. Clearly no one likes working here

Went to the mens section to buy their excellent vibrant leather cologne. There were three employees with no one at the register and no line. They told me they would not open the register for me to pay for the single item and that I had to go to the womens dept. to pay. The line was through the door and long story short I decided not to purchase the item.

Worst location ever!!! I went to Zara on 7/2/2021in Newport Mall 6 minutes to 7pm to be turned away and told that it’s closed. The website indicates that they are open until 8 pm. All stores are fully open and operating. Ms. Overwhelmed the manger who stated that she closed early because she is overwhelmed, She won’t give her name when asked. She stated that cooperate gave her the ok to close early. I drove miles from home to exchange a gourmet. I’m a Zara shopper it’s disheartening to see how they treat their customers. This was not the first time. She has done this multiple times. On Father’s Day and when the big sale started. I was actually in the store when I encountered both incidents this time It was me on the other side. Seems like this is an ongoing issue. The lines are too long and only two registers opened . The waiting time to purchase a gourmet is 30 to 45 minutes long. If you can’t handle retail look for another job.They might as well close this location for good. I did speak to cooperate and got a claim number. Let’s see if they will call me back!

The lines here are never ending. The girls at the register talk all day long amongst each other and have no consideration for the clients. They have attitudes and hold up the line to just talk. The store wasnt fully stocked for a Sunday morning. The few employees walking around werent too helpful. I would recommend as a last resort but make sure you come with enough time to just stand in line. Normal line times at this location is usually more than 30 minutes.

I just have to say this is the probably one Zara with very poor service. In addition to the fact that their merchandising and display is so poor you barely even feel like shopping here, they vary their hours just as they please. I have gone in twice to return one skirt 2 hours before closing and they would just deny entry because they are either short staffed or some other lame excuse that just goes to show poor service quality. Sorry, but if your short staffed and you know about it update atleast your Google hours. And of course, please keep up to Zaras standards.

I am only writing this to show that I am surprised at the high star rating. I live in area and this Zara is always under staffed. JC has savage customers that toss clothes in floor and mess up store within seconds. However, as a business stand point, the traffic is coming in to the store. Thus, Zara you need more cashiers and more staff to clean up sales floor.Currently in store now with a line out the door and only two cashiers. Following this not one sales staff member is cleaning up sales floor.I am only online to do an online return.

Worst experience ever. Never thought I would have to stay in line for about an hour to get just 1 item. Only 2 people were billing and 1 counter. Expect long wait times. Use the massage chair nearby if needed.

I like Zara, but the employees and security here are so rude! The lines are always insanely long, and they only ever have one or two cashiers working. I’ve had a few other negative experiences, but never felt the need to write a review until now.I went to make a return today around 6:30. Online it says they close at 7 so I didn’t think it’d be a problem. I went up and the security guard was blocking the entrance. I asked if I could go in just to make a return she just said “we’re closed.” Since I thought they closed at 7, I asked what time they closed just so I could know when to go back, and she wouldn’t even tell me. She just said “we’re closed” again and wouldn’t say anything else to me. No need to be so short and negative with customers!

Very messy especially shoes selections. Very difficult to find shoes and never have for last 2-3yrs. Staffs are never on the floor to assist you and its always messy. Alway long check out line due to lack of cashiers. Most of all their fitting rooms are still closed while all the other stores have opened theirs.

Massively understaffed at the cash register. Went there twice in the past 4 days both times waited in the line for well over 30min. With no fitting rooms open and returns not being credited to the purchasing card (only store credit being offered unless you have your friend from out of towns card) - one of the worst shopping experiences ever.

Always big queues, and one person working in billing, horrible experience. They don’t even have trial rooms open yet, lots of people will be working for i dont know what, but only one person for billing. Spent literally 1.5hr for billing twice.

I have had ONE pleasant experience with an associate who was at the register. I cannot understand why this location refuses to acknowledge and fix their rude staff, disgusting store and LONG LINES. You always wait in line and I’m not talking 5-10 minutes. It is more along the time frame of 20, 35 and 45 minutes to purchase items. Usually one register open at a time with ONE cashier. Get. It. Together.

I love there style of clothes. They are a bit pricy but its worth it. Now as for the long lines that 😔. Its horrible waiting on line for 25 minutes to check out 2 or 3 items, while there are 3 cashiers the line moves even slower. The workers have no sense of urgency, it seems they ignore the long line and just continue to take there time. And for that I have to rate them a 3.

This particular location huge for no reason, that inventory they hold in here should be at canal street and not at the Mall, waiting line is to ling, registry employees to slow no working speed whatever, big no no. Zara in Europe is the best for the fact. Workers in Europe supper fast with the service,production of materials for clothing higher qualities and the fashion is much nicer.

There’s a huge line at the billing all the time doesn’t matter if it’s a weekday or a weekend because there’s only one person working at the register. This Zara location has the absolute worst customer service I’ve ever experienced at one of the company’s stores. The store is consistently understaffed at its registers; it rarely, if ever, has enough registers open; and, sadly, the employees are incredibly unprofessional (major “eye-rolling” attitude), not to mention slow. Be prepared to wait in the checkout line for a minimum of ten minutes even if you’re next, and don’t be shocked when the cashier stops to chat with a colleague, the customer ahead of you or if he/she opts to take a few extra long minutes to “tidy up” before calling the next customer. I’ve now given up on making a purchase twice after waiting in line too long, and no way would I support the company by completing the purchase on its website. This location needs a staff and management overhaul.

The Line for the register at Zara is terribly long. At least 25 people are waiting in line and with 1 sales advisor on the cash point. I’m waiting now over 15min in and still have 5 Costumer in front of me. Unbelievable slow service. Would not recommend to shop here!

I went here to pick up my package, and my one item had a hole in it that I showed the cashier. He just put the item back on a hanger to be sold and totally ignored the fact that there was a hole on the item. Also, I had an item that I wanted to return. But he told me that I had a certain time to frame to return it which I passed, so I asked for store credit instead. He told me there was nothing he could do for me except give me customer service’s phone number so “I can express how I feel about that”. Needless to say, I will not be returning to this location.

I just left this Zara with a heavy heart. I have been a loyal customer for over 15 years of this brand. After today, I promised myself that I will never return. I have known for years that the customer service at this location is not the best, but today they were truly unfair and determine to not care or listen. I purchased some booties for my 6 year old. While the size was fine, they were not wide enough for her feet. we returned today after 8 days of original purchased. We presented the receipt, explained the fit was not ok and that she complain they were too tight on the sides. We did try a bigger size but same issue. We decided to exchange for other boots, same price. To my surprise, the girl at the counter refused to exchange. They suggested that I should force my daughter to wear them. When I told them the issue with the booties, they just came back with “ buy her two sizes bigger” I asked for the manager, but she also kept saying the same thing and that they will not perform the exchange for the shoes that were more confortable for my daughter. I kept asking them why and they kept saying company rules. I told them to keep the merchandise and receipt and we left the store for good. I do hope someone at Zara is listening and ensuring they properly train their staff so no other parent and child goes through this unfair and sad experience.

Came in Sunday, October 13 to exchange items (but they didnt have the coat i wanted). In the process of returning my items, cashier/staff gave me the worst customer service experience.1) gave me a nasty attitude2) instead of fixing the issue on her end or coming up with a solution, she chose to blame me/insisted I am wrong and I was lying3) made me feel like a thief/villain/criminal4) didnt apologize after finding out the root cause of the issue is on her end and that she jumped the gun by immediately assuming I was wrong....Maybe she was prejudice against color of my skin or the way I look, but this branch needs to train their staff on emotional intelligence, cultural sensitivity and customer service.

This store has the worst retail management and overall customer service. I dont understand why customers arent put first. They consistently only have one register open when there are long lines without considering to open additional registers. I asked to hold clothes so I can come back and pay for it later because of the long line and I was told they cant do that and the person I spoke to said he was leaving, I came back later and he was still there. Chick Fil A is always busy and I never wait long for them to MAKE food. Ridiculous.

This place was horrible the day I came. Theres was a long line at the cash register with only one person checking people out. Then she barked orders at us to form one line but yet we was in one line. What the heck did she expect? Were standing there for a long period of time and she wants us to be n a perfect single file line without breaking ranks? SmhBefore getting in that line I had asked an attended where the other checkout counter (because the checkout where I was, was closed for some reason on such a busy day) and that young girl must of absolutely loved her job because she looked annoyed to point us in the right direction.
