He will go above and beyond to make sure you get what you need AND deserve. Joel (forgot his title) but he was also accommodating during the process. I left super happy with a brand new 2022 Chevy Trailblazer. Make your appointment with them sooner than later :)
The manager is super rude. They are only nice and willing to help when they are trying to get you to buy a car. The customer service treatment shouldn’t change weather is buying or returning.
I leased a Chevy equinox from this dealer 39mths ago. They are now refusing to take the vehicle back at lease end (breach of contract on their part). The reason given is “no space on the lot”. I drove there yesterday and they have space for 50 cars between the dealership and their additional lot further up Communipaw (I have the dated photos to prove this - taken yesterday). They have said they will take the car back IF I sign a new lease with them (blackmail), clearly they have the room.I’m currently instructing a solicitor to file a breach of contract case against them. I am also filing a complaint with the NJ Division of consumer affairs who I spoke to earlier today.All other local area dealers are taking cars they leased back. Chevrolet of Jersey City is the only dealer behaving this way in my local area.One compliment I can give, is the Service department have always been friendly and helpful when I needed an oil change. The Sales dept in my experience, after you take delivery have only been unhelpful.
I would definitely recommend the service department to any Chevy owner. As always great work. The only thing I was a little upset about was the detailing the car still had bird poop from prior days the cup holders where still dirty. From one seat it looked as if they didnt even vacuum the same papers I had there where not even moved.
I always have a good experience when i bring my car here. I never feel like I am being taken advantage of or pressured into anything like I have at other places before buying my Trax. I appreciate everything they do to make sure my visit is timely and at the best price with the best recommendations.

I tried to look into buying a 2021 corvette from this dealer and it turns out they dont even have the car, never did. I had an email response saying the car was on their lot would I like to see it. Called to make the appointment and surprise, they dont have it. Told them that was very deceptive of them and to remove that ad. Next day I get an email from the very same sales person asking me if Im interested in a test drive. Id give zero stars if possible for zero integrity.
I had a diagnostic text ran. The total came tp $1145 the part is $75 and I was told it is an extensive job that takes longer than usual. The job can be done in 2hrs. They tried to rip me off and I will not be returning. I still had to pay $177 for the diagnostic test

I walked onto the lot of this Chevrolet Dealership in Jersey City NJ . I had been visiting car lots in new jersey all day. I was tired and ready to give up. I had no idea what i wanted and was just looking not really ready to purchase. My father and i was walking around and looking at cars when Christian Marques approached us asking to assist us. When i tell you he was such a polite and kind young man. He was easy to talk to. It was like we were old friends. We asked questions and he answered with confidence. He new the product! He was NOT pushy or acted like a fast talking salesman. After he educated me on a car i was looking at we went inside with him. Christian was honest and helpful. He crunched numbers and gave us every available discount there was. He NEVER asked to run my credit! He spoke with his Manager Josh Young who by the way was just as down to earth as Christian. We hit it off instantly! He too was educated and did us such a great service with the price of the car. TO make a long story short. I drove off the lot with my new car and i am very satisfied and very happy with the car and the service. I would recommend everyone to go to Chevrolet in Jersey City NJ to get a car. My experience was the best thus far....lyn was very tentative to my needs...i asked her could I call her for my next visit and she gave me her card... I trusted her. My car was fixed by 1230. I brought it in at 8 am... Definitely impressed..especialy on a Saturday..

I have to say fat of the Ford dealerships that I reached out to your dealership Jersey City was the most helpful friendly and maybe want to come in. I account for this by your online sales representative Nori. I would give that woman a raise. She answered all of my questions and and made me feel like I wanted to come in to meet her. She introduced me to another highly professional salesperson his name was Ryan. I can see why he got salesman of the Year award. I felt no pressure, he helped me to fine-tune what I was looking for. And I was able to turn in my old lease and get my new Chevy Equinox. I would give the whole experience five stars
Avoid this service center at all cost! I made an appointment for an oil change that I was told would be an hour, but it never happened as my car just sat in the lot. After waiting for 2 hours since checking in I got a call from the service desk asking if I had a chance to bring my car in for the appointment, meaning this center is extremely unorganized and doesnt take note of which customers are present. When I asked them for a status update they asked me to spare another hour for them to actually preform the oil change. I had other commitments that day and had to leave without the oil change. I would give 0 stars if allowed.

However they did not put a sticker on when to return for the next oil change, i.e., mileage or month due to bring in again for the oil change. But I was pleased with the wait time and very good service.

ABOUT THE CAR I OWN:I dont really post reviews until the product exceeded my expectations or leave me disappointed. I got my first ever car from Chevy the Brand I trusted more than its competitors and made my First and Last Mistake by getting the Worst Car in the whole Universe. I unfortunately owned Chevy Malibu 2016 Premiere which the Salesman at Chevrolet of Jersey City tricked me to get this car by telling me all its safety features and all. I really like it at that time and the Salesman also knew that the car was a Faulty Piece of Garbage that he didnt tell me and sealed the deal. Ive this car for almost 20 Months and Drove over 12000 Miles but never get the peace of mind while I drive this car. Because this Car is a Complete Mess. My car has already been to Service Center for different safety Problems like Safety Sensors stopped working all of the sudden, Battery Dead, Tire Sensor Malfunctioning, Semi-Automatic Parking Stopped Working ETC. This is my Sixth time, Im facing the same problem along with the Car Screen is totally Blank. Nothing Shows up on the Screen. Im Utterly Disappointed with my Purchase.ABOUT THE PEOPLE I DEAL WITH:Its not only about the car issues Im dealing with. Its about the people as well who provide me the Worst Kind of Service as well.1. Whenever I try to get an appointment over the phone. First thing they tell me that I cant have an appointment on Saturdays because most of their Engineers dont work on Saturdays. What Kind of Service Center is that where half of their team is absent on weekends.2.They want me to get an appointment in the Weekdays which I cant because Im a working man and lost my job already due to this Stupid car and dont want to lose my job again.3. The people at the Service Center are so RUDE and Dis-Respectful, dont know how to talk to customers, how to provide them best Service. Since buying my tires Ive been having trouble with them. I have to put air in them 3 to 4 times a week. Ive expressed this issue everytime my car was in for service and was told they cannot find anything wrong. I have taken pictures of my dashboard with message need air and which tires. I had service done and as soon as I start driving the sensor comes on again. I went to multiple tire shops and finally was told it was the tire pressure monitoring sensor. I had one replaced but I shouldnt have had to come out of pocket because when I told them at the dealership my tires were still under warranty. Since my last visit now because I said what I was told now the mechanic at the dealership is telling me I have to pay for one tire and sensor at $245. Since getting these tires Ive had nothing but disappointment.

I brought my Tahoe in for 2 recalls they told my it had to be reprogrammed and it would take 2hrs they ask if i was waiting there I told them I was going to get food at IHOP they then gave me a coupon for IHOP and within a hour and 20mins I received a call saying the my truck was all ready to go I was truly impressed great job guys.

Very upset with this place. My parents have had a billion problems with our car, and the car is practically brand new. As of recently we did an oil change, and literally right after once my mom was home, the car was in fumes, we had to take the car back. Apparently, they spilled some oil on the motor. On top of everything, its not safe whatsoever, they do not follow CDC guidelines, all of the workers are without masks. Today, now we had a problem with our brakes, my mom was driving and the car didnt brake, and there was something going on with the motor. Worst place ever!
During the rainstorm my car was at the dealership for repairs they put it in the garage but the garage got flooded with 12 in of water got into my car and ruined my carpet and whatever else underneath they refuse to pay for it

The 1st month of 2021 till now he kipping on tilling me we don’t have any information yet it’s been 6 months since I ordered my car bad bad bad costume service big mistake work with chevy of jersey city and the manager { joel young } im very disappointed of this dealership never recommended to any one he also every time that drive over 1 hour to come to the dealership and asked about the estimate time arrival for my car he always tilling me he don’t know and tilling me that one way or another im going to make over $20000 over the car price why his tilling me that . This dealership for starters needs a serious relook at everything. I used to work for a band name dealership myself and for us customer satisfaction was #1 no matter the cost... at this dealership, I felt like I had to pay for my for that.. the service advisor but the name of kenny has potential but not really there yet.. a customer should feel like they are getting robbed of there money.. instead they should feel like they want to come back... I didnt feel that way. For starters.. I was told that my vehicle WASNT going to be ready until the following day. Understandable.. but then they had the nerve to say that they dont offer a shuttle to customers nor will they pay for a customers ride home.. now I live just 15 minutes away.. the cost was $15 dollars one way.. now I understand that we are currently living through a pandemic but taxi services are still functional such as uber. I currently offer a transportation services myself so when I had to leave my vehicle in until the next day, I was left with no job for the duration that the car was in service.. I asked so see if they can at least offer me a vehicle so I can use. They denied my request which threw me off even more.. all I want if for who ever is reading this.. your GM or SM or even GSM if for them to understand that we are all living some crisis. This is a time where we should be helping each other. In the end, the people qt service were very understanding of my situation and were able to help out just a bit in my situation. Called to set appointment, stated all I needed done, got there the next day and was told they couldnt get to most of it unless the kept my truck for two to three days. I explained that I was leaving town that day which I had already explained to appointment setter. Went to pick up truck and had to wait 45 min for them to calm insurance and get billing figured out which should have been done prior to my arrival to get truck

We brought our car there 4 times in the last 3 months for the check engine light. Their people could not figure out the code since it was a misfire. Its been at their facility for almost 1 month combined during the last 4 visits and all of a sudden you charge me $169 to repair an engine coil. And to make matters worse, I had to call 4 days after I brought the car in to find out was what going on. No call to inform me of anything before that. After I called, then someone came me back to say it would be about $150 to repair. But no charge the other times since whatever it was was still covered. We were so infuriated by the lack of service and care to our vehicle that we just traded it in to get a Volvo. You couldnt give us a chevy for free at this point.

I came in because my left front signal light was blinking fast, and was coming on whenever the break pedal was pressed. Now two days later the light is back blinking fast and doesn’t come on at all in the front.
Courtesy professional Team members take the time to explain everything and evaluate your repairs,, so you can understand, all the while at cost cutting your Bills not like these other repair shops that try to sell you things that you really do not need. I scheduled an appointment for 10 am. Came in and they told me it was gonna be 1 hr and 30 minutes. Turned out to be 4 hours and 30 minutes for an oil change and a tire patch.

Joel is a comedian and his punchlines are lease offers. I asked for a 2018 Volt lease in blue, advertised at 259/mo, his closest offer was tremendously higher and not my color, and it was the car they use as a loaner! What a joke, so funny. He told me I must not have read the fine print in the offer correctly, also that the color is a premium and I wont find any better at any other dealership. Thats probably what bothered me the most, the implication that Id not read every word of the offer details and the guarantee that no one around could get me what he couldnt. The hubris shown when you dont have jack compared to what others have available is incredible. Well, at Paramus Chevrolet I got my color and car with 16 miles on it for $268/month. They literally had the color and feature set he told me wasnt ever made available, sitting on their showroom floor. Im in Jersey City and drove all the way up to Paramus but Id do it 5 times more to avoid this place.
