I had a pleasant experience today at my bridal appointment. I don’t understand the negative reviews. I was hesitant to go to this boutique but I’m glad I did. I found my perfect dress today. However, it does seem that there aren’t any set prices. She asked my budget and then thought of a price which was a little over my budget. There’s a wonderful selection here though.

Louisa is a saint!! I went there with my maid of honor to look for bridesmaids dresses, we must of tried on 50 dresses and Louisa was so nice the entire time. Never pushy. Then one of the bridesmaids dresses was too small and Louisa offered to trade the sample size 10 gown in the store for the smaller gown which was the size we needed!! We would of been screwed otherwise... thank you Louisa!! Also, the prices were great...less than department store pricing.

Not sure what’s worse... the poor quality dresses, the prices or the service here. I’m glad everyone else had a great experience with this boutique but I arrived here on time after setting an appointment and still had to wait over 10 minutes due to her over booking brides (which is crazy unprofessional) at the same time. While scheduling the appointment I told her of my interest in renting a dress for the big day, she stated there was plenty here. I tried out only 3 dress that she said were for rent (for 600$ in which david bridal has better deals on purchased dresses) and sadly, they were all ugly. If you’re looking to rent, take your business elsewhere.

My mom was convinced to go here for her mother of the bride dress for my upcoming wedding and they screwed her over big time. She’s very petite and they pushed a dress on her that truly was not cut right for her height and body type. Because of her size they clipped the sample on her in such a way that didn’t reflect what the actual dress looked like when it came in. She was very unhappy with how the actual dress fit and even though they promised to fix it in subsequent fittings they only messed it up further including but not limited to sewing the sleeves too small so her arms didn’t fit through and hemming it too short when she asked for it to be cut from a gown to a midi length. Also it’s the saleswomen pinning the dress for alterations, never the seamstress which is ridiculous. Furthermore, rather than apologize for their mistakes and attempt to make up for it they tried to push ANOTHER dress on her and get her to drop more money in their store. Not to mention their upcharging is next to criminal - 100% or more markup on other retailers selling the same styles that you can get elsewhere or online. Thankfully my mom found an absolutely gorgeous dress at Saks that their professional staff altered to perfection in two fittings for a quarter of the price that Labelle charged her. Not after wasting 5+ fittings on a dress that shell probably end up donating without wearing. Lastly when my mom inquired about why they would be so pushy about a dress that clearly wasn’t cut for her the owner’s response was “well you should have asked more questions”. They couldn’t care less about their customers. Go literally anywhere else for your wedding dress needs.EDIT: Clearly, despite the deluded response below, my mom was not ecstatic with her results in the slightest or I wouldnt be writing this review.

This boutique is stuck in the 80s. Maybe even the 70s. Their store is outdated. Their bridal selection is outdated. Everyone I know that has purchased a dress from them says that they upcharge like crazy. Just dont do it. There are much better options in NJ.

This place sucks. We tried on 3 dresses that pretty much looked like curtains. They claimed they didnt have anything else. The snobby attitudes and lack of real care and concern is real... Dont waste your time...

I was a bridemaid for my cousin and my daughter was the flower girl. I ordered her dress from La Belle and the bride had me order my dress elsewhere (same color lot was her reason, I think thats crazy but shes the bride). All I can say is La Belle was wonderful to deal. Louisa was a pleasure and the dress cost was the lowest at her shop. She offered to ship me my dress. I only bring this up because the other shop refused and forced me to drive 30 miles to pick it up, even though it was paid for in full. Not helpful to a mom with 2 kids who works. I accidentally threw out the belt for my daughters dress so I called Louisa, told her what happened and the resposne was no problem and she shipped me a replacement. She made my life easy. I would recommend this shop hands down! I wouldnt know how lucky I was that I ordered her dress here but for the rudeness that I dealt with at the other shop. My review on that shop will be posted there.

What a horrible experience!! I called 3 days in advance to schedule my appointment in which a woman explained to me that they would charge me $25 for a consultation fee. However, after I spoke with Virginia and I told her I wasnt comfortable paying $25 for a consultation fee without seeing what type of gowns they actually had in stock, she said she would charge me the $25 only if I tried on dresses. She asked me the type of dresses I was interested in, and I specifically told her NO LACE. She told me they have a variety of dresses, many in lace but there was something that would fit my requested style of vintage. I was satisfied with her offering, and my fiancé and I drove over for our scheduled appointment.Upon arrival, I saw the bright pink awning with consignment dresses in the window, and discovered that this was the bridal shop; red flag number 1! We rang the bell and waited 15 minutes for Virginia to approach us. While waiting, we saw a rack full of lace dresses and my fiancé and I were debating if we should stay because we didnt see any other options. However, once Virginia approached us, she took us upstairs to where all the dresses were, because I specifically told her what type of dresses I was looking for, one would think she would have pulled them in preparation of our appointment....strike number 2!We walked through the freezing room of laced dresses and found about 2 or 3 of interest. As I continued to search through the room, a woman over the intercom alerted Virginia that there were 2 women downstairs interested in looking at dresses and if they can come up. Virginia said yes, and as soon as they came up, my scheduled appointment seemed to no longer matter. She completely ignored me and gave 100% of her time and attention to the walk ins which by the way were never told about the $25 consultation fee that I was told. I was completely offended, never have I experienced such rude and unprofessionalism when looking for a dress. I highly recommend for any bride who would like to have a positive experience when looking for their dress to go else where, you pay for the type of service you get.

Makes up her own prices as she goes along. Way too expensive for no reason.
