I went to Mattress Firm in Jersey City and the salesman there, Jaeson, was awesome and gave me a great mattress for a great deal!Not only that, I went in there thinking I was going to get a twin or a full, but got one of the Queen beds for a twin price (their sale).Then, for the base, he had me lay down and demo their 300 X base, which elevates your feet and your neck and head. I upgraded to that and he discounted the price from the old base to the new one! He also hooked it up with half off all the extra stuff (pillows, sheets, cover, etc.) and setup for two day delivery! It doesn’t get any better than that for a guy furnishing his new apartment.Shoutout to Jaeson, from one sales guy to another, we couldn’t have asked for better service and customer experience.Thank you!

I cannot say enough good things about this guy Nnabuihe Chimezie. He made the mattress-buying experience wonderful for us. He did not make us feel rushed or uncomfortable in any way. We showed up late around 8:30pm - half an hour before they close. We kept saying as 9 approached that we wanted to get out of there and let him go home because we wanted to take a night to decide on the purchase anyway. Nope - he would not let us leave. He stayed with us until 9:30pm fully understanding that we wouldnt be buying that evening just to make sure we would get to feel and learn in detail about each mattress so we could go home with the knowledge needed to make a decision. He was so friendly throughout that hour. A master in the art of conversation. My Fiance and I had fun talking to him. He never had us feeling pressured - he spoke to both of us equally and had both of us feeling comfortable sharing our thoughts. He gave us space to talk also. He talked about himself while also asking us questions about ourselves without getting into too much detail on either side. There are lots of negative things you can say about some salesmen and women from how they speak to how they make you feel - not this guy. It felt genuine from beginning to end. I might pop in some time just to say hi. We cannot recommend that you ask for him enough. Thank you, Nnabuihe! 10 days in I can say it was a flawless delivery from Mattress Firm & the bed is awesome. Living like royalty and do not regret the purchase for a second.

My fiancé and I went to Mattress Firm in JC and it was our first mattress shopping experience. Nnabuihe was our representative and he was very knowledgeable and helpful. He answered all of our questions; however, when I asked him a question he directed his response towards my fiancé (a man), which I found to be very frustrating as a woman. I was pleased with the service. Jersey city location didn’t have the foam mattress in stock, so I paid for the mattress in cash and was able to pick up one from Morris Plains location. I pick up the mattress and continue to do some shopping. I found the same form mattress for nearly half the price. As I go back to Mattress firm in Morris Plains for a refund in which I paid in cash, I was advised that I had to go all the way back to Jersey city to get a refund. I rush back to get there and to be told I can’t get a refund because of a invoice that was entered and that I would have to wait on a check in 10-15days. I’m super disappointed with your processes. I should have been given my money back regardless of where I brought it from since you are same company and your accounts receivable department Should know how to handle refunds. This is why most only do business with Walmart and Amazon there is never a hassle or ANY inconvenience to a customer.

I worked with Nnabuihe and he was great. Very knowledgeable but not pushy like some salemen. We were able to test out a few of the beds that we narrowed down to ahead of time and he let us just do our lay down tests for a long while and fielded questions as they came up. He also did not try to upsell us which made the whole process more pleasant.

I have made 2 purchases from this store before with Nick and was happy with his service. The star rating reflects the unacceptable behavior of the store Manager Mike. I attempted a big purchase on line via chat with an expert last week Saturday and it failed at final stage with my card info. I was then advised by the representative to visit a store nearby. I printed what I wanted because I already had extensive research and discussion about what was best for a vacant spare room. At entry the store Manager Michael noticed the papers in my hands and as I got closer he went into defense mode about if what Im holding is a warranty claim and its not handled there. I told him it is not and laughed at the fright in his face. He became at ease and then explained his assumptions. I said ok & understood. I briefly told him what happened on line and told him of the details he was holding which he only glanced at an immediately went into upsale mode. At this point my patience is running low. I decided to listen to his recommendations and allowed him to visually show me the inventory of reference. He became upset at my rejection and made a questionable comment are we having an issue here? I responded No and said stop trying to sell me something clearly Im not interested in. He pivoted AGAIN at a final presentation of another mattress that I am AGAIN not interested in. I told him you didnt even look at what I am trying to buy. He did with the quickest glance then raised his voice and said he feels like we are not having a good vibe because I am not listening to him. I raised my voice back and told him some actions have a domino effect cause he is not listening to me at all. He gave me back my papers and told me he has to ask me to leave because it is not going to work out. I said sure and reminded him that my money is good anywhere I go. He then decided to be apologetic that hes sorry that I felt he was trying to dupe me but clearly thats BS beause he walked off. He mouthed some additional stuff that I didnt quite hear because I was so done. It was enough to make my son tell him he need to stop with the constant comments and tantrum because we are trying to leave. I am disappointed and felt disrespected in the presence of my son and discriminated by his actions. He should not be working in our Community. I GOT my purchase done at the neighboring Raymour Flannigan.

I read so many amazing reviews about this Mattress Firm and about Arturo the sales associate, that I felt like I was going to visit a celebrity when I went in! I may be giving him and the store 5 stars, but Arturo was the one who gave me and my husband 5 star treatment. This guy is a gem. Super knowledgeable about every mattress in the store, super warm and welcoming, and a great help. Talk about a wonderful experience. He really just wanted to get me the best mattress for me. He didn’t mind that I had a budget and was super patient with my husband and I. (I think I tried half the mattresses in the store!) He also was able to help another couple While he was helping us, not letting either of us feel neglected or like we were just waiting around. I’m currently laying in my Amazing mattress that we got as a floor model for their New Year Sale and I have piece of mind with the 3 year warranty he got us. I could Not be happier!!!! Jomo went above and beyond to help me get the right mattress. Stayed way past the time the store closes to. It’s been about four weeks and I am super happy with my mattress and adjustable base.

Called ahead and a friendly voice answered. I spoke with Jomo. He helped me understand the differences between the mattresses, what was best for my sleeping habits, and what helps with my sleeping habits even. The experience was great and is honestly what sold me on purchasing my mattress with Mattress Firm.

Any time a representative of any company follows up I give nothing but praise because I know the service is going to be great. My husband and I purchased this mattress in Jersey City a few days ago and the Asst. Storeroom Manager Calvin was A1. He was helping another customer and ended up staying an extra hour and a half to help us find the perfect mattress. We tested out a different mattress for almost an hour and a half and ultimately decided to get the BR Aubrie mattress. We caught the manager special which was a great deal. Calvin made sure to follow up to make sure my order was correct which I really appreciated. He deserves a promotion for his great customer service skills and thorough knowledge of company products.

This has been my best retail experience!Calvin is so good at listening to people and understanding their mattress needs. I was greeted immediately by Calvin and he made me feel welcome and at ease quickly. He asked good questions and listened to the answers. He only showed me mattresses that fit my needs and did not employ any high pressure tactics. He was knowledgeable and friendly.
