I will never shop here again. Came here yesterday and when Im checking out, the Asian lady told me that I have to give her a another dollar to replace the one I gave her because the dollar is too dirty and her customers will not except it. She really stood there and held the money in her hand and would not complete the transaction. I was shocked. I just took the money back from her and left. Im not going to argue with a store to take my money. Money cycles around, I do not have control over how money looks, this is what I receive from a store so what am I to do? Smh I found a BLACK OWNED BEAUTY SUPPLE STORE AT 516 WESTSIDE AVE. SUPPORT THE SISTER INSTEAD.

Been going here for a few years now. Their prices are high but I never had a problem with service or returning items. Now all of sudden they decide to change their policy on licensed cosmetologist discounts and their return policy only applies to what they want. Will take my business and my clients that I refer somewhere else.

This is honestly the worst place I’ve ever been too. This is my first time ever writing a review because that’s just how bad this place is. I bought an item and specifically asked if I don’t like it can I return it and they said yes just keep the receipt. I got home and realized that it was straight trash and it was a $19 item online I wanted my $53 back. I went back to the store 2 hours later and they completely denied that I could get a refund and stated I could only exchange an item if it’s damaged. They called me a lier and that they didn’t remember me coming in at all that day, mind me I was there 2 hours before this. They made fun of my mom for not knowing English and made comments of my weight, before I boiled over I called the police because they were turning off the lights and trying to force me out before the police came. The police told me that this place has a habit of this same issue. With the police there they gave me store credit that I threw out because it was more about the principal due the simple disrespect that they have. I could’ve easily started punching people but all that was going to bring was me going to jail. I hope that people read this review and think twice about shopping in this store. Walmart has better quality items than them. I should’ve turned away when I saw the Chinese knock-off items around the store. Please everyone do not shop here!!!!! Go anywhere but here!

I just left $40 worth of hair and products on the counter. I had a shampoo marked at $1.99. They refused to sell me the item for the advertised price. They woman behind the counter began to act as if she didn’t understand what i was saying and referred me to the hair assistant in the back. She told me someone made a mistake and the other bottles had a different price. She informed me that i could not be sold a shampoo for $1.99 what was supposed to be $3.99. Its the principle of the matter. If i was in any other store, they would have to grant me the marked price. I left everything on the counter. Instead of being concerned with customer service... they wanted that $2 which lost them $40. I refuse to spend my money anywhere that im not treated according. I will also be reporting this to the BBB. Ridiculous

If your young do not work there I patiently waited for a call back after working for almost a week and they never called me back after I picked up my check because they fired me and they didn’t even tell me and I did nothing wrong to be fired.
