They were sold out of everything decent. And out of the hole staff there was 1 female I think she had braids that tried to help me find something for my children. Everyone else just said we dont have it and moved on.

It was a long line but the employees moves fast and I was happy .

They charged me with over $620 for purchases that I never made. I have never shopped at Party City and will not. In process of bringing theft charges. I highly suggest not to deal with them.

Barely had anything i needed ... this used to be the place i could find anything for any kind of themed party. Guess Ill stick with my favorite dollar stores instead or amazon. Not to mention, the service sucks. I asked questions and its like they didnt care to answer or help in any way. They can have 1 star because im sure if i needed something for a kids party i would be able to find something. Other than that .... this particular party city is a complete waste of space.

The cashier and the staff are very friendly and helpful. This location is big and well stocked. The only thing was that the manager decided to reprimand the cashier for not making me wait 30 min to inflate three baloons. Even if that is the way is done it is unnecessary to reprimand employees in front of customers.

The aisles were organized. Staff was professional. But this store was not stocked with the round color of plastic tablecloths I needed in an emergency. I bought all white instead.

I went to this location today intending to buy balloons and have them inflated for a bridal shower. But the cashier told me that they dont inflate balloons.

What everyone is saying its true! Waiting line for checkout is too long. I tried to buy a few things but, seeing that long line of about 30 mins wait i said no way!! left all the items right there and went to dollar tree. In less than 20 mins i was back at home with the items i needed. Thank you dollar tree.

I went to this location yesterday for the first time to get balloons inflated for my daughters birthday party . The balloons were small, today we are supposed to blow her candles and cut her cake and the balloons are literally down almost dripping on the floor. I paid almost 20 dollars for balloons that I brought myself to the store just to get inflated and they did a poor job putting Helium in them. Also they told me I had to wait 30 mins for them to be ready. Understaffed store . Poor service will not recommend.

I always come to party city for everything I need. This party city is the only one in this area and off a major highway so if you dont order early you might not find everything you need.

They ran out of letter A balloons. I made a order ahead of time and the order wasnt done when I arrived, had to wait an additional 30mins

Went to this location to fill up balloons that I needed for a last minute party and I was in a rush. This place was PACKED, phones ringing off the hook and Cleo was so kind as to help me put helium in all 6 of my balloons while answering phones, helping her team and assisting other customers. She was so quick and hardworking!! Well done Cleo

The wait line is over 20 minutes to pay a few small items.... when I finally got to Pay I saw a coloring book that was marked $1.00 is $3.99 the girl that charged me said that she rang it up already so I have to wait in line again for a return..... rude and nasty service!!! False advertising and mismanagement!!! Stay away from this store!!

The Store had a very unpleasant smell when we walked in. The staff was very unfriendly. I Purchased $25 worth of Balloons.I asked for a bag in the girl Told me those bags only for deliveries.I offered to pay for and she still refused.This all was on New Year’s Day ....I don’t think I will be returning to this party city ever. So. SAD

Waited 15 min in line with 3 employees basically standing around “working”.

I only go here because it’s the closest to me. The staff shows no urgency to help. They are on the phone while they are helping and don’t ever check in the back to see if they have something that’s missing on the floor.

The cashier was nice enough to apply my promo code for me despite the fact that it was expired by a few hrs. I was extremely grateful because I got a lot of balloons for my kids birthday party. Only thing was, it took a while because only one person was inflating balloons and the cashier wouldnt help her when she had breaks, but she would go over and talk to her and distract the woman trying to go as fast as she could.

Ive never seen such a nice place with employees so badly humored, apparently not trained to deal with humans or animals either .

Very disappointing experience. With COVID 19 going on I thought I’d decorate my porch for Mt 50th birthday and spent $50 for Balloons... and one of the $12 balloons deflated soon as I got home and I called & had to come back for replacement. And within 2 hours 3 -4 other balloons deflated from the time I left home and came back. I wish I purchased a gift for myself instead of going to Party city. Cashier Kenrick was the only light in the dark experience. Very disappointing

One staff member was very rude to me... I guess she was choosing the clients she wanted to help...since with other she was very polite. Despite of that, the rest of the staff are great! I would came back yes!

Jada was very helpful...the line was insanely long to get balloons...they need more people in register and balloon section...I didn’t find the 18th birthday plates I was looking for...but over all I wanted the balloons and Jada was very helpful and sweet.

VERY BUSY STORE

Staff today was amazing. Quicky and pleasent.

I called in advance to double check availability and to possibly order balloons. The store employee falsely assured me several times that they had the balloons i needed. Of course, as it it turns out the type of balloons I needed were not in stock and had not been for some time.. A waste of time at the clifton nj party city. Dissatisfied with customer service. Rushing customers off of the phone does not help anyone it actually cost me gas and time.

They have all the costumes of what all children want however I think they should order extra for the ones that come in a week before Halloween comes so all the children could be happy and not going back and forth to pick witch outfit wear because they dont have it. All children should have the costume that they want even if its early or latebesides that Party Citys excellent

Did my brothers baby shower decorating here. My mother loved it! Great selections, prices were ok, some a little steep. Overall everything was fully stocked. Staff was fully engaging towards customer needs.

I was there today to buy a Halloween costume the store was no service i left without being help and the customers walking around without a mask and no one told them nothing so.i left because I felt no safe at all . Even the employes with the mask not covering the nose .

Always a fun place to get party goods but for halloween give yourself plenty of time because it gets pretty hectic!

Nice and cool on hot summer day. Pretty well stocked. Some items are pricey but there are buy one get one free items. Lots of parking. But not easily accessible by public transportation. 9 to 14 min walk depending on which bus you take.

Although my issue was that I got a worker that was being rude when I was asking for where can I find an item. I got the same worker at the checkout, and as well he was being rude when I was asking how much an item cost.

I wanted to order 3 dozen party balloons in pearl for a party. The color I wanted is not represented anywhere and I needed a pic sent to me. In my first conversation with Jasmine who was delightful in trying to help. I was told that the manager would not permit. I called and spoke to Chole the manager to ask why. I was told because of the logo which made no sense then finally she did not have a phone that sends pics. I insisted that someone in the store must have a phone that does. Chloe has Chris call me. He takes the phone and says how can I help you apparently unaware of why he is on the phone. I explain and he reiterates that this is an exception blah blah blah.... and promises to send me the pic. I waited 30 mins. Chris spent that time speaking to other managers he says who said that he could not give out his private number. He did not take the time to call me back upon knowing this. I had to call to find out what happened. Unprofessional and poorly trained group who did nothing at all outside of the boxes they sit in to enable a sale. Party City you need HELP! You lack customer service experience and poor decision making skills. Someone else will get the business.

The Party City in Jersey City on 440 north has so many beautiful colorful choices to choose from & I love having choices! The employees are very knowledgeable about thier job! The prices are very reasonable!

They had the worst customer service. I have called them four times to check an item. First, they put down the call. Second and third, they put me on hold for a long time without even hearing what I wanna ask. Fourth, they put the call on hold immediately. And when I came to the store, there are MINIMAL CUSTOMERS AND I DONT UNDERSTAND why this people put call on hold with minimal customers in store and for not giving me any reason why they put me on hold!

I went there to pick up jumbo baloons for my daughters birthday, the guy who was at the counter filled up not enough air in them so they all got deflated by the time I got home.. very frustrating to pay over 50$ for baloons that are not even inflated properly. 3 stars for inventory they have, not for staff.
