Something g told me to go to the Dunkin across the street or the deli at the path station. I didn’t do any of those things. Unfortunately, I ordered a grilled chicken Caesar salad. And well… it was just bad.. and watered down…. Yes… I said it… watered down.. maybe the lettuce were washed wrong, or the dressing was watery. Either way, it was horrible. I’m not going back. I usually walk past this place, after living here for years.. today I should have done that.. or maybe saved the money and made my own salad at home. I wasted $13.. Well… Not really. The Cool Blue Gatorade was magical!!

An average local deli, not really a legit bagel spot. I work near by and go there for my breakfast sandwich when I need one. They open at 5am which is convenient for me and I do like their bacon, egg, n cheese on their croissant. After that your on your own to try anything else.

I stop here about once or twice a month... good place to grab a breakfast sandwich or platter once in a while instead of Dunkin Donuts...

Possibly the worst bagel I’ve ever had..even compared to Dunkin’. I asked if they were fresh and they said yes so I did not get mine toasted. Ate it there and the best way to describe it was stale and bland. Also charged an extra $.50 for debit card but there was no sign saying this was their procedure. Would not go back.

There cheese spreads are light and fresh but breads are not so great. Definitely this is not the best bagels 🥯 place.This place can be ranked fourth for the Bagels in the Jersey City area, two miles surrounding this place.Incase if you’re paying by card for less than $10 they charge extra $.50 cents.

Stay away. Shady owners; they treat their staff horribly. Food is below average and overpriced for what you get. Place is also very dirty.

Nothing special, way overpriced in my opinion. They charge willy nilly. I was charged 6.50 for a ham, cheese and egg sandwich. When confronted they said they add extra dollar if you order from breakfast menu around lunch time(Still almost 2.50 more than their menu price, the math really doesn’t adds up, really sneaky on their pricing). All for supporting local deli’s but not if they are fooling customers.

Their food is incredible and their prices are super reasonable. I highly recommend this deli if you live in the Journal Square area.

The Place is absolutely Horrible the Bagel is Burnt and Ketchup everywhere 2nd time in a Row I wouldnt have given a review otherwise, Being a Former Business Owner I understand but this place is the Worst, Just because of Construction the place is still there, People working there have absolute no manners on how to talk to people or anything, the order is never right and at least During the Pandemic when people are Supporting your Business have some Appreciation towards People.

It closes at 5 but everything is great. I love the rolls here

Expensive for a deli especially in Jersey City and the food is just ok. Expensive because of the court house and new high rise apartment buildings. I only come here for convenience. I work a block away. Will not go out of my way to eat here.

Was very happy with my food. I ordered the house special and the al pastor both on corn tortillas. Both tacos were packed with meat but not overstuffed like some tacos that want to explode all over you. House Special was super juicy and had a sauce on it that had some sweetness that cut through the rich meat. Dug the al pastor a lot, i threw some of their spicy salsa on top and was happy with the result. Would definitely go back for a quick taco or two.

Good Bagels and Coffee. It was near our Airbnb so it was very convenient to get up in the morning and have bagels immediately. However they looked at us as I we were freaks when we ordered just the jelly bagels. Cream Cheese didnt taste good when we ordered that once. However taste differs.

Found what looked like a hair in my bagel. They said it wasnt a hair like it made it any better. Should have got my sandwich from DD like i did my coffee. Smh thumbs down

Absolutely rude and disgusting establishment, I walked out with no food and will never come back. Multiple health code violations in plain sight. But the staff, possibly owner, was so incredibly rude from the second I walked in the door that that was enough for me to write this review and I NEVER give restaurants bad reviews because Ive been in the industry for 15+ years, but thats how strongly I feel about this, this deserved it.

Very good food and staff

Superb, fresh hand made fresh jumbo bagels. Not for sophisticated taste, labor & hardworking class, with matched coffee. Do not go there if expecting upscale service. Attendants are homely and fond of their regular customers. Theres a sit up for around dozen people to eat the DELI food.

The food is average. Nothing special they get busy for breakfast but unfriendly staff especially the cashiers. They look miserable and doesnt want to be there. No hi or thank you.

Poor counter service with an attendant who did not understand English. When I asked for no peppers in home fries I was told that they were already mixed in and it was too bad....needless to say we went elsewhere. Poor ventilation and lazze faire customer service.

One star is being nice. The service was horrible to begin, Then after waiting almost 15 minutes and getting the completely wrong order, I received an attitude for asking them to correct it! Apparently it was my fault for not having an additional 15 minutes to wait for a new one!

Absolutely the most abhorant deli in jersey city. one star is one too many! rude and attitudenal employees. everyone that works here has a chip on their shoulder. lazy and i am doing you a favor is the mantra. the deli itself is disgustingly dirty. flys hover over the pastery and prep area. the drink coolers are room temp and the coffee is horrible. this is suppose to be a bagel place....hence the name. the bagels are horrible. they have tge texture of leather and never seem fresh or warm. do yourself a favor and stay away. i noticed they are extremely rude to the Port and Path workers.

We stopped in for bagels to take out of town... These bagels are huge and super fresh. Delicious!
