Cute atmosphere for coffee and a quick bite. The the hibiscus lavender iced tea was deliciously refreshing! The root beer float and hummus with cucumber toast were yummy as well. Definitely recommend!

This coffee shop is wonderful. Its walking distance from my friends place. A bunch of us were in town to visit so before everyone else woke up we walked over to grab a bunch of bagels and quiche for breakfast. We got there right at opening and got to chat with the owner Buzz for quite a while. I got a lox bagel which was heavenly and a vietnamese iced coffee.Later that afternoon a couple of us stopped by again to get tea and coffee. We also tried the crumb cake which was so good.The inside was really cool with an eclectic collection of antique furniture and decor. I will definitely go back next time I am in Jersey City!!!

I like this spot. They have good snack choices. I think their coffee is okay. I wish their expresso bean were stronger. Otherwise I like the vibe/aesthetic. Its a cool place to meet with people, have coffee, a bite to eat and a nice chat. Definitely recommend.

Looking for coffee place, on a brisky morning we found this on google map. Unfortunately We got locked out of my sister’s place, who was still sleeping. I had no mask!! But this coffee shop has extras and lovingly gave me one!! What hospitality and charming this place presented!Caramel macchiato in a Demi-tasse cup real French style. Whitefish toast is so refreshing and delectable. Chocolate muffin, fluffy with moist spongey-fudge texture, absolute perfection! A must for food connoisseurs!!! Furthermore, shelf on wall shows the ingredients used to make all the food. 👍👍💋💋

We hosted our sons 2nd birthday here in February and we had a blast. We couldnt have found a better place than snapdragon. All of our guests loved the venue. We really liked the vibe of the place when we first visited. What we liked most is, they were very very accommodating. All our requests were entertained in a nice way. Buzz was very responsive and patient with all our questions and needs. Thank you Buzz and team for making our party great. Its a beautiful place.

I would personally rate this place 6/5 stars. I got the meanest head by my girl in the bathroom upstairs, I would highly recommend this place for new people. Staff here are very nice and the environment feels just at home!

Very pleasant stop for whitefish toast and a smoothy. Owner is an interesting and friendly guy. We sat downstairs, but checked out the very cool upstairs lounge that is available to rent out for events. If I lived in the area, it would be a great spot to rent out.

The worker/owner (we didn’t get his name) was very friendly as soon as we walked in. He offered us a free sample of his house-made (I believe) raspberry lemonade. Back home none of our cafe’s give samples so this was a very pleasant gesture to experience. He also gave us samples of the Vietnamese coffee there which was delicious. The overall atmosphere was very friendly and the cafe’s decorations were diverse, would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a little cafe to enjoy!

Best place to chill and have a cup of your favorite drink with a delicious pastry.My wife and I love coming here to enjoy a cup of chai tea latte while we read, plan our life, or brainstorm new ideas together. A beautiful space with good vibes and okay coffee — it’s not bad but also not amazing.l — too bitter for my taste. The staff is nice only if you compare them to a Starbucks barista.That being said, this is a great place to chill and hang on a weekday afternoon. It’s not too crowded and you’re not the only person in the shop to stare at the barista. Although at times the inside becomes too quiet so I moved outside to avoid the guy behind me cussing out at his computer every other minute - with his mask all the way down to his chin, argh.

The owner Buzz and Staff are amazing. I got the white fish with tomato onion, capers on toast with an ice coffee. Simply amazing. And they take their coffee seriously.

I ordered the Lorraine quiche and I got it frozen. LITERALLY FORZEN, i asked for the rude young girl infront to heat it up and she brought it back after 2 minutes STILL FROZEN. Do not come here you are going to spend alot of money on poor quality food and coffee.

I ordered two pistachio oat milk iced lattes. Customer service was lackluster and not sanitary, for example the barista touched my straws with bare hands after being asked, to remake a drink that was made incorrectly and it still taste the same. However, it was dark brown and taste more like espresso and water, usually lattes are tan. I have came before and enjoyed lattes but it seems the staff should be retrained or update staffing.

The cafe is spacious as in the tables are large and the chairs are roomy. There is also a couch on the first floor with magazines and books for you to read/scan through. There are antiques and shelves of jam and tea. There is a second floor but we didnt see it as the cafe had to close. Recommend

Welcoming and attentive service. Delicious coffee, pastries, and savory snacks. I had a cappuccino to stay, sat in their spacious 2nd floor and listened to the piano music on the speakers. The space was carefully renovated, so you can still see the historic details.There are different sitting areas depending if you need a work table or just a couch to lounge. Great daylight and views of the neighborhood. If you visit, make sure to check out the bike shop across the street.

Beautiful cafe! Great vibe and excellent customer service. Employees explain the menu very well and openly. Furthermore, their coffee is fabulous as well as their sandwiches. Whenever the weather allows you are also able to sit out and enjoy your meal along with doing your work. Love this place and will keep coming back!

We rented this space for our rehearsal dinner in February and it was the perfect set up!! My husband and I were looking for a place where our friends and family could mingle in a more social setting.We catered dinner from an outside vender but utilized snapdragons dessert, coffee, and soft drinks (everything from snapdragon was delicious!)A huge shoutout to Allison who helped so much that night! She went above and beyond - thank you Allison ☺️ We would absolutely book another event at snapdragon

Love this place! The coffee and pastries are absolutely delicious. You feel the cool neighborhood vibe, as soon as you walk in. The art on the walls and musics makes you feel relaxed and comfortable.

They add too much milk into iced latte, thus youre drinking a milk with coffee flavor. To go iced cups unusable, because caps dont fit in, you can spill coffee all over your body like it happened to me, ended up using to-stay cup. The almond croissant is good though.

Me and my wife had our son birthday party and the staff was amazing. The place is beautiful, the picture are nothing compared to seeing it in person. You can feel an amazing vibe since you step in,

Got there just in time to beat the longer lines. Heard about the bread pudding so tried that and wasn’t disappointed. Tried one of the cornbread waffle special and it was tasty. Pretty quick service once you get in the door and actually place your order.

Great place to host a party. Upstairs has a cool vintage vibe to it and is great for small/medium sized parties! Host was great and very welcoming. Highly recommend this place

Walked in the early hours to start off with a new book. With a latte and something to munch on. The portobello mushroom and spinach empanada, and the apple danish with an ambience of lo-fi music was just what i needed to get into the zone. I chose a quiet corner on the second floor surrounded by artwork, selection of books and chess boards. Easily spent 4 hours for 15$ in a socially distant, welcoming space. Likely to visit again and the jazz club across.

Definitely my go-to coffeeshop in JC. Super-relaxed friendly vibe and soulful retro music in a chill space. Coffee is great, baked goods from Choc-o-pain are delicious, avocado toast is on-point, and hey theyve even got CBD protein bars.

One of the best coffee shop environments Ive ever experienced. Snapdragon is something this community has needed for a long time. Spacious, with two levels, relaxing, great food choices, and great coffee. Staff and owner are super friendly. Love the flat bagels with Lox and cream cheese. The peanut butter bars are amazing. They host open mic nights and hang exceptional local art on their walls. Its been a reliable regular weekend spot to hang and recharge.

I moved to JC from the West Coast on my own, without knowing anyone in the City, and finding this place made me feel like I was going to be OK. I came here quite a few times before quarantine started, and its been one of the places Ive missed the most. The coffee is delicious (they even have Turkish coffee), the food is delicious (lots of snacks and breakfast/lunch food), and the ambiance is perfect for productivity. There are two levels, lots of tables and chairs, sofas, and such. Its even warm, which is sometimes hard to find. (What is it with coffee shops and too much air conditioning!?) You could spend hours here, and I have. They have fast, free wifi and beautiful decor. Street parking is all that is available, but I walk. I cant wait to come back.

Yesterday was my first visit. I love that it is stroller friendly and kid friendly. The man behind the counter was very nice and the space seemed cozy and friendly. I got 5 pastries to go for my friends birthday. I spent 18$ on them. The reason I am giving 3 stars is because all the pastries were hard and stale. I was very disappointed and upset. Thats a lot of money for some pastries to have them be really stale and not good.

I was there for an event last Saturday evening, and it was just so beautiful, welcoming, and well decorated. 5 stars without any hesitation! The food was amazing, tried the brownie and it was delicious! The service was beautiful, owner as well as the bartender, I am definitely going to come back soon! LOVE IT!!

Wonderful service, wonderful coffee, and an incredible atmosphere is some of the few things this place has to offer. They offer all diffrent types of espresso drinks and a few non dairy milks which is always a huge plus. This place has two floors of seating so finding a place to do work shouldnt be a problem. All in all if you find yourself in the area, needing a place to do some work, read a book, or simply grab a coffee, this is the place!
