Car Buying is a stressful experience, shady dealers, pressure salesman, up-sellers etc. This wasnt the case at Hudson Subaru for me. I wanted to buy a Subaru WRX 6 year ago and the sales associate hooked me up with an excellent deal that nobody can refuse, but I turned it down as it would have been a want purchase rather than a need purchase. Fast forward, I walk in for that Want purchase. I called in to schedule an appointment and they asked me to come in at my convenient time. Able was my sales associate and he made the buying experience a breeze. I walked in with an intension of buying only If I had a WOW moment and Able made it happen. My base price was far from what I was on offer but Able and his manager made it happen by finding a middle ground and I left with a brand New Subaru WRX as an happy customer.What made this experience pleasurable was the fact that I did not feel pressured to make a decision. I was offered multiple options, tons of information on the cars, multiple test drives and a feeling that even if i left without a car, they will welcome me back.No upselling, no hovering over your head, no negotiating tactics. Negotiations was plain old honest conversations you would expect at a professional level.I highly recommend this place and Able is an amazing sales associate. Went into the dealership pretty set on what we wanted, which was a used Subaru Crosstrek in the khaki blue color. Nervous at first because we hadnt bought a car before and also because we havent had the best luck finding one at other dealerships at the price point we felt comfortable with. Enter in our wonderful salesman Jacob! After a few preliminary questions he showed us the inventory and it initially looked like the three blue Crosstreks on the lot were sold because they lacked the price sheets in the windows (apparently when this happens it means theyve already been sold). But Jacob had some additional intuition that made him want to confirm that and, after checking in with the paperwork inside the main office, it turned out that one of them was indeed still up for sale! From there, the process was completely smooth sailing -- Jacob is such a down to earth and personable salesman who I highly recommend going to. It felt like he was more invested in making sure we got the right car for us than it was scoring a sale; in other words, it felt more like one of those situations where you walk into a store to buy something and it just so happens that a friend of yours is working behind the counter. The rest of the staff is awesome and the final detailing on the used car was impeccable. Very happy with our experience and purchase.
