AGM is one of the most reliable, knowledgeable and reasonable shops I have ever gone to. They take their time to diagnose, explain and fix problems. The owners and mechanics are very pleasant and respectful people.I own 4 vehicles and use ONLY AGM to fix my cars. I will never go anywhere else. They are the best. You can’t go wrong. They are honest people and won’t over charge you.

So far so good with my transmission but you have to be careful with the owner.. He tells you one price on the phone then increases it once the vehicle arrives then increases it some more when its done. For example I started at 1600 and ended paying 1950 and that was after debating the price increase because he originally wanted 2100!!

I love this place. I brought my Lexus here and they fixed my brakes quickly and at a much more reasonable price than South Bay Lexus. I will bring my Lexus here from now on. Trust this family owned establishment with your car, they treat you with honesty and respect and they are experienced and trained. My 2013 Ford Explorer transmission was banging when it shifted so I took it here and I left the car for the transmission to be rebuilt. I also let them fix my front and back brakes, my belt and tensioner, and both ball joints. No exaggeration, I paid $1200 less than what Aamco in Jersey City was going to charge me to fix my transmission alone. Most importantly, I am extremely satisfied with the quality of repair in my transmission and really the customer service here is over the top.

My car was showing unusual error code on the dash board. After I got off work, I did a little research online about trusted mechanics in New Jersey since I moved from LA. I stumbled on AGM and I called. I spoke with George who told me to bring my car in. At the shop I met Geoge and his dad. I explained my car situation, and George and his dad told me to go and get a part and he fixed my car issue. I asked how much was my diagnosis and repair bill and to my surprise George said no cost for my case. This is an embodiment of INTEGRITY. An issue most mechanics will cash out on naive clients. First time i went to AGM i had an issue with overheat in my truck which couldnt be solved in 2 other mechanic shops in the middle of the summer they were able to identify the problem and fix it in less than2 hours by replacing my radiator, they very professional,honest, they treat every customer like family with respect and most important thing they know what they doing. it is been almost 5 month since the first time i went there i returned several times for all my truck needs and every time i feel so lucky to have them. i recommended them to all of my friends and family,thank you so much to every single person in the shop special the owners Mr Zarief and his son Gorge.

Very good auto repair facility. Everybody is serious about the quality of work. I wanted a tune up for my BMW and a full synthetic oil change. While changing my Oil they realized the filter was slightly different. Rather than forcing the wrong filter into my car, the mechanic told Zack and he ordered the correct one. I had to wait a bit longer but I didn’t mind.

GREAT SERVICE....Help is there soon as you pull in. I had my transmission rebuilt no complaints with it. I had the air compressor done also they fixed the axle and minor repairs. The mechanics there are very honest about what I needed. Not over-selling repairs or maintenance which was a plus. I wanted my car to run smoothly and thats what they helped do.What I like most theres a warranty included!!!

Called a couple days before n told them I was bringing my car in. As soon as I got there they brought my car into the shop and started working on the issue. Great mechanics there and great customer service. The manager asked me if there were any other issues and I told him n they took care of that quickly too. Dealer said I need a whole new transmission so I brought it here and Zack the young guy asked me to leave it. I got a call from Zack the next morning that he found the problem to be a sensor in the transmission. He fixed it and got it back to me same day. This guy is really honest and he truly saved me from paying thousands of dollars for a new transmission. He also filled up my power steering fluid even though the dealer was supposed to when they billed me for shop fees

As a young, and single pharmacy student in Philly, I have dealt with my fair share of shady mechanics in Pennsylvania . So when my father told me to go see his friend Zack for the noises coming from my car I thought, HMM, a girl visiting a mechanic, what could go wrong? Well my assumptions were wrong, Mr. Zack sent his mechanic to drive the vehicle and he said it sounded and felt like the sway bar. After a few minutes they put my car on the car lift and they showed me where the noise is coming from which was this sway bar.Imagine that, I first thought it was my shocks making noise and was expecting to be pay a pretty penny and possibly get ripped off because I am a girl to fix it but instead they showed me it was just this sway bar.There are many mechanics out there that cheat women but this isnt one of them. Thank you Mr. Zack, I only wish you guys can come back with me to Philly when spring break is over, and I hope you and your guys enjoyed the muffins!

I came here based on the good reviews and it didnt disappoint. My 07 Nissan Pathfinder wouldnt move early one morning last week so I left it and took the bus to work. On my way to work and the same night I was browsing forums on what the problem could be to save a couple of hundred (My wifes pregnant and these maternity items arent cheap) on these forums there were different opinions and quotes from dealers that made my heart race, the issue forced me to stay up all night researching more info until I gave up and had it towed here and the manager (albeit broken English) explained the issue in detail, and showed me what needed to be done to my car. I told him go ahead and rebuild the transmission. Now Ive had my car for a few days and Im very pleased with the work and the cost was a bit lower than I anticipated

Great service, good price. I had problems with my clutch. They replaced it in a day and did some minor repairs; the minor repairs were no charge. When I went to pick up the car, the boss wasnt there to take my money. So they gave me some coffee while I waited a few minutes for the boss to get there (he was out at a junk yard scouting parts).

Exactly what you want to see at an auto shop, someone interested in continuing to excel at their trade. If you are like me, you like to doing business with honest local tradesmen who take pleasure in their profession and arent just looking for an easy buck.One more thing to note about the lack of frills: dont expect a fancy front desk waiting room area with staff. Instead, do some errands and walk around the West Side shopping district nearby. Or grab a donut and check your email at Dunkin Donuts while you wait.

I got my transmission rebuilt here back in October on my 2007 E350 and its been great. I brought my wifes 2012 Accord for front brakes and rotors in January, no complaints. They just got done fixing my daughters 2007 Altima for overheating, the radiator was leaking. They do good work here.

I got pulled over and ticketed for a faulty tailight so I went to the nearest Auto Repair. Zack the Supervisor didnt Take any money replacing the bulb. He told me to be on my way and to stay out of trouble lol. I felt very comfortable there.

I came here to get my radiator replaced on 2004 Honda accord price was fair and they even flushed my cooling system for no extra charge. Overall the quality and the price of the repair was great, my heat is now working for the cold winter coming.=))

I was traveling from Pittsburgh PA to up state New york after having my transmission rebuilt not even a week before the trip by a local Aamco transmission, needless to say they (Aamco) did a horrible job because 100mi into my trip my trans blew out. I had it towed to AGM Transmission aving no previous affiliation with them and right from the start they were outstanding! They responded to every one of my calls, stayed late on day to make sure the car would be finished by the time i had to leave, the problem was resolved. He is an outstanding, respectable, and honest business man and his staff is also very friendly. My car runs like new and i never had a doubt in my mind about the car during the trip back to pittsburgh. very reasonable pricing, it cost me less than half of what i paid to aamco i definitely recommend this Shop for all your mechanical issues. A++
