Lovely people ..tons of products I hope to find lower prices .

For the first time ever, I was racially profiled at Home Depot. I returned an item and then I purchased some items at return. I was going through self checkout to see if I wanted a snickers bar, and decided against it. A young lady asked me to go to one of the checkout kiosks and I politely told her that I already paid. At that point, she gave me a nasty stare and walked over to another women who was at the end of the checkout. On my way out, tho other woman stopped me and asked for my receipt, which is fine, however there were other people who were before me and none of their receipts were checked. She let me go, because nothing was stolen, but it definitely made me not want to shop there ever again. No one likes to be treated like that.

I’ve been going to this location for years and I’ve always had good and helpful service, but I wanted to specifically review the rental department. I called them with a few questions and everyone was super helpful. When I went to pick up the equipment (a compact stump grinder and chainsaw) Charles was patient and took his time explaining things. I called back later with an issue and a younger man was able to troubleshoot the issue so we could resume our work. When we dropped off the equipment that same young man remembered us and took the time to make sure we were satisfied. It was a great experience.

The online map was incorrect about what aisle I needed. When I asked at the paint counter, the young man not only told me the right aisle but walked me directly to what I needed!! Excellent customer service!! Im only sorry I didnt get his name!! Great Home Depot!!

This place is convenient and have everything you need for your home repairs and household needs.

I placed an order as per the request of my contractor, I ordered paint supplies and paint based on what he needed for tomorrow. I placed an order for BEHR outdoor paint, both items said they were in stock, when I check the order after work, only the supplies were ready for pick up, the paint was being shipped. I need the paint tomorrow, not Friday. The manager verified the items are in the store, but can not cancel the delivery. So now I have to pay double the money to order from Lowe’s which is right down the street. I advise others to do the same.

One of the cashiers, Claudia was real professional and a big help in finding everything, great customer service.

I go here every single time I feel frustrated with my towns Lowes and theyre always the complete opposite of that establishment. HD is helpful, and the staff is knowledgeable.

Waste of time. Don’t place online orders here. U better off somewhere else or Amazon. But this store is horrible. They’ll keep your order even if they don’t have an item in stock.

I had a gift card and needed Spackle. Great place for DIY jobs.

Had a great experience here. I needed help with the PVC pipes for my next project. and I was a lilttle lost with what I needed to get. Gerald was a BIG help. He was very nice. Great customer service from beginning to end. It was a breath of fresh air to walk into a Home Depot and have someone helpYou from finish to end. Thank you Gerald!

I went there to purchase a mood and trash bags and I was in and out very fast it was a little bit crowded but I was still able to get out fsst

Not well stocked. Couldnt get all the cabinets i needed. Had to improvise. Staff passive aggressive. No one helps but everyone says they will then walks away. If you need actual assistance, skip this home depot and go to lowes

Poor customer service.Went to make a duplicate of a key.Took me 25 min to wait for a person who can do it for me. Sometimes they have self operating machines and its great. But when you need an assistance in this location - everything takes so long.Way better customer service in Jersey City at Holland Tunnel or in Staten Island.

This location on Rte 440 is okay but they are often out of stuff and sometimes its hard to find good help in the store.... and good help meaning ppl who know what they are talking about

Horrible experience with appliance delivery. First time they came to install dishwasher they tried to take it out and said the legs have to be cut and left it half way. I got the leg issue resolved and called Home Depot for new install date, which was available only after 2 weeks. So 2 weeks without dishwasher and the new one they kept it in the garage. After 2 weeks another install person comes and says he cannot install because the old one was Whirlpool and new one is LG so installation is not the same. He just left without even trying. So now I call Home Depot and they are not even answering the call. What a horrible installation service. After having waited 2 months for back ordered items and paying for installation in advance the new dishwasher is sitting in my garage for 2 weeks. Very poor service Home Depot you can do better. My issue is still not resolved.

The worst customer service ever I asked someone for help they said this isnt my department Ill get someone .. I hear them call for someone to come to my isle Im like great. I left after waiting 10 mins in that isle ..Ill Go to Lowes next time

Needed some lumber for a project and they had a very good selection of lumber. They even helped me out to the truck and helped me load it.

Just a regular Home Depot. They had what I needed in a pinch!

As I’m writing this review I been waiting for over 30 minutes for assistance at the blinds section, associates just pass by and nobody is capable of helping.

Ordered and payed for kitchen appliance over the HD online (in stocks item).in 2 weeks appliance I ordered went on sale. Home depot price adjustment policy cleary state if in 30 days -180days from product price change .entitle to refund you the difference . Took 40mins just to talk to manager . Also refuse to help in this matter. Denied the policy.Left store, called HD costumers service.Under 10 mins my matter resolved and refunded the differences. Just to shows how store manager useless and helpless. Avoid dealing with Jersey city store managers. Call HD costumers service. A lot more costumers friendly and will actually help you.

Purchased Wyze doorbell camera about a month agoBought the wrong item went to return it today and since the clerk didn’t add both methods of receipt they told me they cannot take back !!! I spend over a $1000.00 a month there since I am a contractor!!! Guess Lowe’s will be making my money from now on...

Its better to do store pick than deal with staff who have no intension to help you what so ever.

Was looking for oven cleaner. .WHY ARE CLEANING SUPPLIES IN SHORT SUPPLY? ? Just asking.. Got the ( supposedly heavy duty environment friendly AND SUPER WIMPY) stuff on sale. No other choice.

I love coming to this store as opposed to the one in Paramus. All the staff is very helpful, friendly and store is very clean. This store is always fully stocked with everything and the curbside pick up is very easy and fast.

Terrible customer service. I waited over 45 mins for someone to come help me in the windows department. A few associates that I asked for help just straight out said no with an attitude and then went back to talking on their cell phone.

Many aisles blocked by products, or gates forgotten

They have no idea how to give good service, I had to wait to pay for 4 propane gas tanks and then wait for some to tell me that they dont have them any more and now again wait to get my refund 😒

The store is very dirty. Just because it is a home improvement store, they should improve the store by cleaning it. Otherwise, the prices are reasonable and employees are very helpful and courteous.

Horrible customer service! No one answers the phone or gets back to you! Not even their managers!!!!! I went into the store and the kitchen department had a worker sleeping at the desk!

I always feel at home when I visit, and is pleased that things arent moved from its original place this makes shopping much easier. Great reasonable priced and I always receive the help I need in the paint department, very friendly and customer savvy.

Went there, told me they dont have the product, ordered online right outside the store, told me to pick it up from there the next day????

Home depot userly has what you need eather at the 440 store or down town by the Holland tunnel

I went to Dept 59 blinds section and gentleman Kevin was very professional, helpful, very quick and even called another Home Depot for inventory check unfortunately the blinds i needed were out of stock. But great customer service by Kevin.

Went in to buy a 2 chain link for my bike. In and out without any delays and the employee was not rude and appeared to like her job!!! Unusual at certain chains of Home Depot, which is why I dont miss owning a home which keeps you on this store!!! Thanks for the good experience!!!

Called to check availability of a product before I ordered it online for pickup since it isn’t alway in stock even when the website says it is. Don’t want to make a drive for nothing. The person who answered the phone argued with me that I should order it first and refused to check for me. And then had the audacity to hang up on me! Homedepot needs to hire more polite people.Go to Lowe’s, they’re much nicer.

The worst one Ive ever been in. Lights in the store were flickering on and off . Stock on shelving was low and selection was low. Ill drive to Lowes in Bayonne next time.

My wife and I just had a very dissatisfactory experience at this location.We wanted to purchase a lid for our rubber maid recycle bin.Which is sold separately both on the website and at the store. After finding the lid that matches our bin we proceeded to checkout. However, at the register the employ refused to look up the item and requested my wife and I to find the sky for the item.Even after I showed them the item listed on the website.They refused to sell us the lid. Stating that the item is sold as one unit with the can.

I love home depot! Always buy my household needs there...from dish liquid, toilet paper, trash bags, brooms and mops to faucets! I find them to be cheaper than Lowes and they have more (at least in my opinion). Customer service in the employees could use a bit of work (especially that many customers need help and advice in what they need and are doing for projects)...but the company itself has everything I need and more!

This home Depot is very disappointing to me Ive been in construction on my life and Ive been an avid home Depot customer throughout my years of contracting. Its not that its a bad store and I havent had any bad experiences I just feel disappointed while shopping and after shopping . I always leave there feeling like what Ive went there to accomplish never gets close to being fulfilled.

Just like the people that have reviewed this place, save yourself the headache and DONT go to this location, untrained staff. Won’t help and act like you’re bothering them when you need assistance, this Home Depot needs new management, there’s a reason why it’s the lowest rating HD in this area.

Was at this home depot yesterday, spoke with 3 employees, trying to get somebody with a lift to get a box out of a shelf. After 30 min waiting, I had to CLIMB on the 3rd level of a shelf to get the item I was trying to buy. Worst experience ever. Next time Ill go to Lowes.

Checked in for the curbside pickup and waited for 20 minutes. Nobody showed up. I finally went inside the store to pickup the order.

Ordered a dryer and paid for installation and haul away of old appliance. They just delivered the dryer and said they cannot install or haul away the old dryer. Home Depot should switch the delivery company they use.Edit: Ordered a dishwasher from them and the delivery guys had the same issue again. Something about company policy to not install dishwashers with plastic valves. Couldnt they have mentioned that at the time of order? 100% would not recommend to anyone.

I HATED shopping there, as the CEO is a huge trump supporter, but I needed custom paint and they are across the street! Customer Service was fantastic! Paint was mixed exactly as I expected. My mixologist was sooo professional and pleasant! Will still try to never go back after I pay off this bill.
