I have heard of PC Richard and Son but never purchased or been inside one.. My BFF has a Lasko fan that is so good I had to have one. She got it from PC but Amazon sells them as well. I did the price comparison and seen Amazons price was cheaper but I wanted the fan today so I tried my luck in the store. I was greeted by Jerome who helped me find the item. They also price match. Between honoring a cheaper price, the excellent service, cleanliness of the store and availability of items I highly recommend and definitely will be back.

Horrible! After I paid my order in full and they recognize the order us paid for and schedule delivery they wait a year later and say your order has a balance. Also you have extra xyz that wasnt paid for...it wasnt paid for because I dont have it. Also I paid for a 5 year warranty now I dont have one because I never paid for it. NEVER AGAIN! I WILL NEVER GIVE PC RICHARD AND SON ANY OF MY SERVICE AGAIN. I WAS ALSO SPREAD THE WORD!

Andy at the Jersey City location has been amazing to work with. Last year during the pandemic we bought a few appliances and Andy was our sales associate. He is knowledgeable, friendly and gave us great advice. He was able to look up various models and timelines for delivery for us. When we came back a few weeks ago for some more appliances we went straight to Andy! Once again he came through for us and was able to get us a great deal and secure delivery within the timeframe we needed. Purchased a portable washer from them - I recieved it broken - it took them 3 months to replace . once replaced they gave me a broken one AGAIN. when I asked for a refund they declined . and offered me store credit or another new portable washer . after 8 months of not being able to use my washer I just wanted a refund to go else where and I was unable .

I would give this place 5 stars but I went back asking for the salesman who originally helped me because I wanted him to take credit for the $1,500 sale. When I arrived the person wasnt in so I asked for the sales manager. I explained to him that I needed to purchased it today but I wanted the guy who was off to get the credit. Instead of doing the sale himself and giving the credit to the deserving salesman he just said another salesman could help me. When I asked the other salesman do they work off commission he said yes. That left a bad taste in my mouth but I need to buy the washer/dryer that day and have it delivered ASAP. I think the salesman that day shouldnt have gotten any credit for the sale because I was there to purchase it and I only came back to those store because of the previous salesman.

I’ll be honest, I don’t enjoy going into these stores because the sales people are so pushy however there is representative in this location who’s name is Mary that was outstanding! She was more of a friend that makes suggestions and is looking out for your best interest. I really appreciated her service and attention to my needs. What was also endearing is that she received a call (some woman who worked there yelled out to her while she was with a customer to tell her a call came in) and the caller seemed to be an older person who only wanted Mary to help her. When the elderly prefer you, that’s says a lot. I enjoyed hearing her interact with that customer as well. She was very thorough, looking through the computer system to find what I was looking for. Service like this is hard to come by. Mary is the one to ask for. Mary you rock and I hope your superiors realize that!

I’ve made major purchases over the years that I’ve been dealing with your company. And I must tell you that I’ve always been satisfied with the product and with the sales people that are taking care of me. But TYRONE has gone above and beyond and sitting down and going over comparative shopping with me to get the best value and prices. He is very patient and in the end both myself and my wife are satisfied with what we got and the price.I know I will be back and I’ll be looking for TYRONE for my next purchase. UPDATE: After posting the original review, their customer service team got in contact with me; theyve delivered the freezer sooner. Im still annoyed that they delivered a defective freezer in the first place (as outlined below) but I changed the star rating from 1 to 3.---- for context, the original review is below----I cant in good conscience recommend purchasing from here. On Monday, I purchased a chest freezer and scheduled delivery for Thursday (3 days later). Minutes after the delivery men left, I realized that one of the corners in the back is banged in about 3/4 inch; I called them back but could not get through. I immediately called customer service, and while the agent on the phone was courteous, she told me they would not be able to schedule the exchange until next Friday (8 days later).In retrospect, I think the deliverymen knew they were giving me a defective product. I had readied a tip for these men, but neither one of them would engage in any eye contact, and my questions were met with curt, unfriendly replies; they even seemed somewhat sullen. As a result, I ended not tipping them; as I discovered a few minutes later, they clearly didnt deserve it. The fact that the PC Richards management does not have a system for the delivery people to check the problems, and that they do not have an expedited replacement system in case of a problem, tells me what you need to know. This is the first time Ive purchased something from them, and it will definitely be the last.

I had a Unique issue which required assistance from a manager. I had the pleasure of dealing with manager Mike. He was very friendly and understanding. I had a credit issued several years ago and there was an issue with locating it. Manager Mike promised to help resolve the matter. He even follow up as promised. He was wonderful. He did as he promised and was enthusiastic to help (rare quality in retail now a days). He was able to resolve the matter to my satisfaction and then patiently helped me select and place my order for my refrigerator from home. He was just wonderful and helped tremendously in an unusual circumstance. I truly appreciate his patience and willingness to help! Thank you again!
