I bought a refrigerator and paid for the delivery and when the guys arrived for delivery they wanted me to pay again because it was on the third floor. I told them that already have paid for it and that I told the store manager in which floor it was to put. They just said without a good tip we wont do that. I tried to contact the store and they just didnt answer. When my husband called him from another number the manager told him that I told the guys to dont put upstairs because I was afraid because of my floors and I never told it to them. Never buy from this store if you dont want surprises, now my refrigerator is at my garage and I dont have money and dont find someone to put it upstairs for me.

We spoke to Paul a few times about buying appliances explained on the phone we wanted new and the brand . Well, every there is used or has a scratch or a dent or the handles are dented, etc . Then for buying obvious damaged appliances he charges not even 200.00 less then what you can buy at Lowe’s or Home Depot . Something else is going on there . Place is a total scam of the highest level stay away. Nothing new at this store as their Facebook page states .

I bought a Fisher Paykel range from La Bodega.1. The range was advertised as brand new open box. I was told the scratch & dent they had in the same model had just sold. I paid $150 more for this new condition one. When I bought it it was wrapped/covered in plastic so impossible to inspect. It had several scratches and dents when I got it home and removed the packaging.This is the sort of shady business I expected from this place based on the reviews I saw and my first impressions. Fine, Im getting a good deal so as long as the range works I am perfectly willing to deal with a couple cosmetic imperfections. But...2. Paul / La Bodega said it was no problem to convert the range to propane for me. Fisher Paykel includes the necessary parts for this with their new ranges. La Bodega charged me $100 to do it but it was still a good deal so I agreed. I took the range home and had a plumber hired to do the propane hookup and test the range. He connected the range and the four top burners light but have tiny flames. The oven will not light. We inspected the range and compared to the manufacturers specifications and found that every single part that was changed for the propane conversion was done incorrectly. Not a single part was correct, and there was no logic to the parts that were installed. As a result of the incorrect valves, the burners create a tiny un-usable flame and the oven doesnt have enough gas to light. The burners are worthless with the tiny flame and the oven creates a fire hazard and is unsafe.Paul promised a partial refund but never followed through with that after saying the same thing multiple times and has since just ignored all calls / communication.So feel free to buy something here but they are dishonest and will do whatever they can to take your money but will provide zero service if there is an issue. Dont take their word for anything. If you do need any service, I would recommend just take your money elsewhere as La Bodega obviously does not have the technical knowledge on how to service their products. I would genuinely fear for the safety of anything involving gas/propane that they have had their hands on.Guess I learned my lesson. Cheap buyers in search of a bargain beware.
