We stopped by for an impulse purchase during a recent trip to the area and had difficulty finding our item in the area wed expect to find it. We gave up after about 30 minutes of wandering around asked for assistance. Thankfully, the staff who helped us was helpful and friendly.

I come here specifically for their nursery. Love their outdoor nursery, especially in the summer. SO many great deals. Also, the staff are very kind, and when I needed to get a refund, it is always easy. They also have all the items for my home that I need in one store. Plentry of parking, and very easy access fro`m the highway. This summer, I bought quite a ton of flowers here - lets see how they do!

Awful customer service. Waited 30 minutes and had to run around the store myself just to find someone to help us in flooring. Once they did, they said it would be a while to get the tile down, which was fine so we said we’d pick it up the next day. Next day comes, they still have to take it down at the time of pickup. I highly, highly suggest going to a different home depot to get tiles or flooring to save yourself a headache. Shouldn’t be making customers wait like that when theyre dropping $800+ in your store 😀

I didn’t get his name but he was unbelievable helpful. Myself along with at least 10 others were looking for sump pumps during hurricane Henri and the HD staff member was trying to please us all. Great effort even if there are many that don’t live up to standard.

Worst location to get help from. Every single time I come to pick up and order. They never have it ready. The best part is the blond girl who works after 3 at the return will call you and just walk away. Who the hell does that???? What kind of service does this location provide??? None at all. Management is horrible they dont listen to customers. They talking no action is ever done. Worst location there is (trust me!) You will waist your time waiting for an hour to do a return or pick up an order. Walmart beats this location 100%

Finding what I needed wasn’t the problem.My issue was the checkout process. While there wasn’t an open register with cashier but only was make believe self checkout and regular self checkout.What is purpose of having a person scan your items in self checkout lanes. Just slows process.The regular self checkout were only 2 in number.Ok, Jericho doesn’t have this issue with checkout. In Maryland where I was living, never saw this delay in checkout.Valley Stream needs a better checkout process.

Place is clean and organized with helpful staff. Sometimes you may need to wait a bit if you need or want something specific. I needed some floor to ceiling window blinds cut to size and waited a little over 5 minutes (and had to ask and associate twice to page someone for blinds). But once there, he took the time and effort to answer my questions in a friendly yet professional manner.

We pre-ordered some items on line for pickup which was fine. But I went to go pick up a separate item and that is when the issue started. The first employee I dealt with had no idea what I was talking about, the second two just seemed like I inconvenienced them while they were just standing around. Look things happen we all have one of those days, but when you work in customer service, the customers shouldnt leave feeling like they just got the brush off!

Looking for car windshield wiper fluid. App said 514 units in stock. Went to aisle 2. Nothing. Saw the blue kind at exit but specifically was looking for orange rainx. The old man at the exit didnt want to help me at all. The young kid with him checked his handheld but the old man literally said hes not looking for it. Really sad being a frumpy grumpy old man being in customer service.

The employees at this location need to be retrained both Maria ( works pro line) whom yelled at me & told me to go to another line. As well as Leroy who claims to have worked at the store for over 20 years. I went to exchange Primo 5 gallon water bottles & they argued with me that they have never sold Primo brand bottles. I went to Home Depot here the other day with my father to gather some tools for our job and when we applied our tax exempt i.d the employee told us to go to the pro section and speak with one of the employees. We go there and two of the employees there told us to call the number they can’t do anything about it. But, all I wanted them to do was search for the company name in the directory to see if we were still registered with them. I have no idea why they were refusing to search our company name or tax exempt i.d. We were already signed up with Home Depot and didn’t feel like valued members. I’ve already signed up before in a different location as well for the tax exemption program and the fact that they didn’t bother searching the company or ask for our i.d was flat out poor customer service.

Had to wait a while to get help but the guy was helpful in getting me the product. However, I almost missed the product, I thought they were out of it. Turns out it was way too high to see.

Jericho is one of the best Home Depots. Willingness to display professional and intelligent eagerness to help all their customers, even at all registers, self-service or not. Their Garden rivals Hicks Nurseries. May fall short on the amount of expert Garden Professionals like at Hicks Nurseries.

I wanted to make a purchase but I didnt know how much it was. I went to the counter with all my item and the employee got mad at me because I wanted to take out the item that I didnt want. An employee named Tina got involved and told me to never come back to the store again. She is very rude and impolite to her customers.

I cant believe what these guys in appliance did to my order.I came to the store wasted 3 hours to place an order on Black Friday. Monday morning i get a call that they had a system issue and order was refunded and i can reorder with Tom who transferred over to Karen. She informed me that my order will be available on 2/15/2021 instead of 12/30/20. What a day it has been, she went to speak to the manager and then left me a message without any detail. Then entire day i made 15-20 calls to speak to Karen. 2-3 times i heard she was on lunch and it must be 2 hours difference when i called. When i tried to speak to the manager at the end of the day, they wont come on the come and another lady in appliances just hung up on me.Such a worse customer service. Unbelievable individuals and team in appliances ($4500 order).After such an experience, i appreciate the executive office team called to resolve the issue and offered very nice solution. I appreciate they took the time to address the issue which is why i am increasing the rating by two stars, otherwise store employees needs to be properly trained. Once again, thank you executive team for handling the issue and for taking appropriate actions.

Buy online store pickup TODAY is a constant FAIL at this location and its managements fault that this keeps happening. I dont get notified so I end up canceling the order for same day pickup near closing and drive farther to SYOSSET location to get same thing because I rather give them the business!

The store is fine but I wish they had a store directory layout on the website. There used to be one years ago but I can’t find it anymore. As an occasional customer, I don’t know where everything is and it is hit or miss if you can find an employee to ask.One bad thing and it’s not the store’s fault, but you have to watch out for other customers with shopping carts who will run you over if you don’t get out of their way and the contractors hauling wood in lumber carts are a menace.

Home Depot is great, tons of selection,, but bring a list of what you want.The over abundance of stuff will boggle your mind and you may leave without remembering why you came in in the first place!

I went yesterday to pick up a tree and was helped by the best Elf girl I think her name was Eleni. She was so polite and helpful and she got the tree up onto the roof of my car with no problem or complaints at all. I love seeing women in what traditionally is a “man’s job” and doing the job with a smile and courtesy!I sent my sister there today to get her tree and Eleni(?) was not there in the tree department so my sister was helped by a young man who unfortunately, was not as helpful or happy-looking, so my sister decided to go back when the girl is there instead.

I made an online order dor pick up. I bought the bathroom vanity and a faucet for the sink, and picked them up from the customer service. Waiting time was short, and the items were ready for pick up. Staff are nice every visits to the store, and they are willing to help all the time.I also have an app to check the inventory at stores and the location of the product.This is my and my dads favorite Home depot store!I would definitely recommend this store to my family and friends.

Horrible waited 45 minutes for someone to help me to look at a washing me. Had people call for the sales woman to come help me 3 times. No one ever showed. So I went to Jays appliances and purchase a better washing at Sam priceNever again.

I love shopping at Home Depot, but some of the workers have a been a bit brusque.They must be exhausted from constantly reminding people to wear masks and so forth, but there’s one particular employee at this location that must have been having a bad day when I visited last week. Or maybe they are extra busy due to the holidays.I’ll try again, willing to give this location another shot.

Lots of parking, clean store, nice garden department with outdoor and indoor plants as well as gardening tools etc.

A clean, well stocked store with friendly employees. I was shocked at the fantastic customer service too. The garden supply and nursery section was full with healthy plants. Its right off the expressway and theres plenty of parking too. Other Home Depots should take some instruction from how this place is run. Worth a visit.

The worst store for customer pickup. Ordered Friday afternoon when they had 61 items. Didnt hear anything. Spoke to a rep on Saturday and was told it was being filled. Never heard back. Called Sunday and was told my money was being refunded because they have no more items. I waisted 2 days with this store. I will never shop there or at any other home depot for the lack of respect and customer service.

The Jericho, Long Island Home Depot is the best! Employees are well versed in their respective departments. Its the main reason I go to this location. No time wasted, in and out and very pleased. They do a great job and with a smile!

Store has practically everything for home construction and renovation. Friendly employees. Easy returns. Fast self checkout. Hard to find assistance in every aisle but cant blame them for being such a big warehouse. When you do find assistance, theyre knowledgeable and helpful. Credit card terminals were changed, so not even phones with Samsung Pay could be used here now.

Chris at the register was very rude. I was there today to buy tools. He was being sarcastic whole time and mocked me. I am not going back to this store again.

Nothing beats the homedepot prices but you have to know how to get your way around the store. Staff is usually helpful but mostly hiding in corners. The material is often out of shelves but you have to find it.

It was busy and the employees were not interested in being at work. I was using the self checkout line and the register froze I asked for assistance and the spanish woman at the desk wouldnt get off her cellphone to help instead she put her hand up to wave no she couldnt assist me and the customer behind me saw it and made a comment lazy so and so...I agreed and walked away to another line. Honestly I wanted to put my purchase down and walk out but the need was greater than the principal. However I will not be making any purchases from the Jericho Tpke location for a long period of time.

They sent me the double without the smoker box and it has been hell getting this resolved. The first customer service person hung up on me, the 2nd told me to call the vendor, the vendor said its a home depot issue since they shipped correctly to home depots distribution center, home depot told me to call fedex with my tracking # for a missing box. Fedex said they received one box and shipped one box. Not 2 like the vendor said. HD ultimately gave me a credit for the difference in price between the triple and the doulbe grill. Never again will I purchase from home depot online. NEVER. Customer service is a total 180 from Amazon.

One star give to tool rental Dep, I rent sander from there, 3 time for sander machine, first time was size not fit in car. But staff unprofessional direction, second time change car pick one was not working at all. Finally third time pick up, it is fatally working, machine start as 3 -10 second then stop. For 300 sq feet I have to push button over 1k times. Next day return sander and employee ask me why I am not return it same day. R u kidding me. Am exhausted and disappointed for there un functionality both staff members and tools. Rent was boo for me. Experience only for this store. Not mean all. But text headquarters representatives was nice and helpful. Never ever back this store. At least not this tool rental Department

The customer service at Jericho Home Depot with windows and doors is extremely disappointing :-( Women are not respected and treated fairly. I spent a fortune on my windows order and they could not resolve an issue for a year now!!. Steve submitted the wrong order and Anthony has been going back and forth with me “trying to resolve” the matter. The manager Terry does not return my calls. I need to report this matter to the Better Business Bureau. Do not get your windows and doors from this Home Depot!!

Today I had the worse experience ever, and yes, bias against black/latin customers is real, I went to return an Item without enter to the store the garden lady ask me for the receipt, I politely explained to her that I came from my car with that box and i was omw to the customer service door so I can do the return, she call the security but I keep walking to the entrance and went to customer service and they proceed my return, then I buy some stuff and pay with the cashier, who was in front of the door, another cashier came into me with a really bad actitud asking me for receipt, i told him i just pay ask the cashier, and he say yes. I felt really bad about this incident I’m a regular customer and usually spent over $400 a moth thats so discriminated. Check the cameras and do better training for you employees please.

What can I say.. its Home Depot. If you know what you are looking for you can get in and get out within minutes. If you are lost and not prepared then it may take an afternoon. Research what you need before your visits and it will be an enjoyable experience.

They have a whole showroom on an upstairs floor. So cool. Interactive monitors to plan your new kitchen. Clean bathrooms, friendly paint person.

Good place too shop with Home Depot app most of the time items are on same place that marked in app. Shop after 7 pm to avoid crowd.

The employees here are very friendly and helpful, my uncle and I bought a lot of flashing cements, and a young man who worked here volunteeree to helped us put them on the track, we are very greatful!

My Pickup order was misplaced/ missing even though i received a confirmation email. It took them an hour to realize it while I was waiting at curbside pickup area. Even though the same product was available from a supposedly another pick up order sitting on the shelves for over seven days (!!), probably being mine with different sticker name, I kindly ask the manager to pick that up and he refused. Even though in my confirmation email it stated that my order would get canceled after seven days, while the other order was there more than seven days !! They were rude, disorganized, not helpful.. don’t go to that location!! Manager just ignores you, doesn’t even try to apologize for the store’s mistake .. there are security cameras to prove it
