Exceptional staff! I was in a hurry to get some inexpensive 4th of July favors for a kids service project. They told me where to find what I was looking for and gave some suggestions.They have everything you need for any occasion. Lots of Oriental Trading Company items too, and you dont have to wait for delivery or pay shipping.Amazon doesnt need any more of your money. Support local small businesses!

Very clean store. Difficulty getting in because of group clustered st entrance. Customers w/dogs and employees talking . Was given direction, upon entry, to what i was looking for; but, no other assistance after that. I wandered the store, multiple times, looking for items that were not found. 3 employees behind cashier stand. One checked me out, cheerfully; but, never asked if i found everything i was looking for.Large inventory, well organized, and clean.

This place has anything you could want relative to costumes, games, party supplies, novelties, tricks, etc. Well organized and the staff knows where everything is located so you dont have to waste a lot of time looking if you dont want to!

I like Horner Novelty, but I usually only go here if I cant find something anywhere else. I have been shopping for graduation supplies and almost everything that Ive found has been dollars less at another store.Example: The exact same graduation cake topper was $8 at Horner and $4 at the other party supply store.It was that way for most of the things I was looking for.

In fact, every employee provides excellent service to satisfy the customer by obtaining the product that is needed.

Larger variety than other stores I had visited. Their employee, Olivia, was excellent and very knowledgeable where I could locate specific supplies. She also made some great suggestions (great cross sells). I have been a return customer for church plays, Halloween, blacklight glow party, Afterprom supplies, and some parties I was hired to do. Love this place, and its uniqueness. I used many supplies from here to make my creations.

They have such a wide range and variety of Halloween costumes, multiple different styles of every costume, from cheap looking, to prestin edition. This store holds your Halloween needs.

Love this store, nice people with a great selection. Large selection of costumes and great for party supplies or fundraisers. Would also recommend to teachers and schools since you can buy in bulk.

Great variety of merchandise, especially when it comes to costumes, masks and wigs. Was looking for a wig for a character in a play...it worked really well and looked fabulous!

I get all of my party supplies here and have gotten costume items here many times. When its high season for Halloween shoppers, it can be a madhouse and the seasonal help is not well-versed on where things are in the store so asking one of them for help finding something in the huge store may not lead you in the right direction. Off season, the staff know exactly where to lead you to find what you need and will even offer to special order things for you if they dont have them in stock. They have excellent prices on party decor. Much better prices than Party City and they have just as good of a selection of colors and prints.

It was hard to find the location. It is much less choices than before and an run down building that was a bit erie to enter. Staff was very nice and helpful though.

The best place for costumes or props in the area.With a good mix of party supplies and gag gifts this is one of my favorite shops of all time. Definitely worth the visit even if to just stop and look around.

Horner Novelty is one of those novelty shops that always makes you feel like some Tom Hanks level, BIG, things are going to happen. Like, youre going to turn a corner and theres going to be some amazing fortune telling machine or creepy mysterious man who is going to give you a relic with magic powers. If you never have that experience its okay, because you get to enjoy the INSANE amount of awesome inventory this place stowes! I get gifts for partys and prizes and tons of Halloween and costume pieces from here and adore it. As for the magical experience, I always have one, and I know one of these days something BIG is gonna happen.

Hadnt been before which is embarrassing given Ive lived in Jeff all my life but it was cool how much stuff they had, and good prices. They place the electric slide 3 time in a total of 40 minutes.

Last minute Halloween plans and they came thru.. Very helpful and 25 minutes to spare!

I have never seen such a large selection of costumes and novelties in one location. You could get lost for hours just wandering the aisles enjoying the props and costumes. This place is a cosplay meca.

On September 1st 2018 we spent over $120 on Haloween items there. The kiddos are Batman and Batgirl for Haloween this year. I bought an adult Robin suit for $50. Too expensive, yet to be cute with the kids. Put the bag in the closet and got it out on October 30th 2018. The costume was missing stuff. I called, with receipt in hand, and spoke to Ron. He informed me there was nothing they could or would do to replace missing items from costume. I was even willing to accept non matching items off the shelf, just to complete the costume. Ron said he was real sorry.Poor business ethics Horner Novelty. Poor customer service Horner Novelty. We will spend our money somewhere else.
