I ordered Zoysia grass in the fall by spring it was full of torpedo grass and wild Bermuda. Ive never had a problem with torpedo before this batch of Zoysia. There are several New Orleans nurseries who warned me about buying from Delta. I should have listened. Also worst customer service ever. I can deal with bad customer service but I dont suffer fools lightly.My husband is going to buy more grass from them tomorrow actually. If I so much as see a pest, fungus, or any weed-hold on delta.

Have bought sod several times from here and have been impressed each time. Great fresh sod that doesnt fall apart when I install it. The people here are friendly and helpful, from the person working in the office to the people who deliver it. I would definitely keep buying sod from here.

Some of the best St. Augustine sod being sold in New Orleans. This sod comes from the Gulf coast of Atmore Alabama. I needed 10 pallets of sod and Delta Sod delivered fresh cut sod to me.

We tried to get sod delivered and it took days and a ton of miscommunications and delays. I wish this company had a better level of customer service and professionalism, but at least the grass was nice.

Saw a negative review online and felt the need to balance it out, because my experience with these guys has been great. I will admit that there is a difference in the friendliness/helpfulness between the two guys that answer the phones at different times a day. One is pretty curt and, whether intentionally or unintentionally, probably makes a lot of people feel stupid for no good reason, so Im guessing hes probably the source of the other reviewers comment about rudeness. The other guy is super nice and helpful - youll know immediately which one youre talking to. In any case, theyre very dependable and timely, sell a good product for a good price, and at least one of them will patiently explain stuff about sod to you even if its the first time youve ever done it.

As a landscaper, I will NEVER ise Delta Sod againIn a month, I ordered twice from their company...both times was nothing but problems. First order was hay.Second order was suppose to be delivered before lunch. I received it at 4:15pm. I had to send my crew home. I lost money because I had to delay another job. My crew lost 1/2 day pay.Order was for 3 1/2 pallets. 1/2 order was beautiful green st. Augustine. 1 pallets was dried up hay..other 2 pallets was 1/2 hay and 1/2 grass.Please before you order from delta sod, i recommend you check out jefferson feed. Their product is so much better, and awesome customer service!!!2 days later, katie from delta sod called me accusing me of letting the sod sit for 2 days. It was actually only 1 day..since i didnt receive my order until 4:15 so that day didnt count. I was told i ruined the sod fir letting it sit for so long.I refused a refund since it is now to late to reorder from somewhere else to satisfy my customer.Katie called me back (conversation is recorded) telling me that the owner would ONLY replace the dry hay they delivered me, if I remove this review!!Blackmail is illegal. Ill fertize the hay and save it.....I will NOT remove this review
